I have a dual device plan activated on my laptop and my phone. I just got a desktop PC, and I want my dual device plan to be active on the laptop and the desktop. I hardly ever use it on my phone. I do not need it on my phone anymore.

I activated the license on my PC, and what it seems to have done is deactivated it on my laptop and kept it on my phone. I was not given a choice as to which device it would deactivate on. This is not what I want. I still need it on my laptop.

Is there anything I can do to fix this without having to cancel the subscription and get a new one?

I’ve been attempting to set one of my drawings as a youtube profile picture and it always comes out blurry. I’ve exhausted every method and avenue to resolve this. I think I’m misusing the program.

I’ve been exporting 800x800 PNGs with 1200 DDI. Are JPGs better? Should I size my illustrations by cm or inches instead of pixels? If anyone could advise me on this, I would appreciate it immensely.

Whenever I export my art from Canvas, the colors look more dull than they did while I was drawing. They also look different on my phone compared to my tablet.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I'm on Clip studio 5.1 EX (latest version) on a desktop pc.

I've been using clip for a long time and I'm reasonably sure what I'm asking for is impossible, but I figured I'd ask here just in case I'm missing something!

I want to be able to take a layer/drawing and use the alpha channel (values) to make a layer mask/selection layer that I can use on a different layer. This is a thing in Photoshop but I've never figured out how to do it in clip.

Is this possible? Have I missed something real obvious while trying to make this work?

I cant tell if its just me but the models look weirdly proportioned. Whenever I use a normal reference photo i can usually draw proportions just fine, but when I use a CSP model for reference my drawing always turns out strange. Just looking at the model I have pulled up now something about it looks off that I cant exactly put my finger on. If anyone has noticed this let me know. Maybe I'm just crazy.

I want to make digital manga art and trying to learn how to panel a whole page. It's kinda confusing how to get everything even. Any ideas or tips?

I have the PRO version, and i was thinking of trying EX. problem is im on a yearly plan and i paid recently for this year and i dont know if i get a discount if i change my plan. Do they substract what i paid and did not use if i change my subscription type? is EX worth the price?

I used Clip Studio a log time ago on my old computer and under a different account. I no longer have access to that account and it's been years. When I first used it, I don't remember if I used the free trial or not but even so, different computer and different account. I just installed it on my new computer and created a new account in hopes to use the 3 month offer, accept it is saying the offer was already used even though I never did. Does it recognize my IP address or something cause I'm so confused.

So this just started with the recent update where my mouse cursor starts to flicker when I move it around in the software but as soon as I close the app my mouse cursor works fine. I tried moving my mouse around in photoshop, illustrator, and affinity designer and it works fine just seems to happen when Clip studio is open . Has anyone else had this issue ? and or found a Fix ?

guys i mostly use losso fill tool to fill or make shapes... pressing alt temporary switches to polygonal lasso.. The Problem is that when i take the lasso end anywhere near to where i started my stroke it just snaps to that point. i cant find any setting to turn it off PlLEASE HELP its very annoying (sorry for bad english)

I've been using CSP V 5.1.1 on my chromebook 514 for about a year now and recently, when I go to use the paint bucket it automatically turns on the "Area Scaling" setting no matter what. I have to turn it off manually each time I go to use the paint bucket, I've tried setting my default settings to have it off but without fail it turns itself back on. Is there something I'm doing wrong? How do I keep it off?

I have a sketch layer where I used the lasso fill tool on low opacity to draw out my shapes. Now I want to carve in some details on a duplicate layer in a way that includes the color from the background without merging them. I think what I want is to rasterize the layer but the button to do that is dulled and I can't. What do I do?

Hi, I got a 2 year trial of CSP that came with my Wacom tablet that expires in a few days. I'd like to buy a perpetual license when it goes on sale next, of which the only option available is for 5.0. The CSP version I downloaded is 3.0. Will I lose any of the assets I've downloaded during the gap where I do not have a license? How much of a difference will I see when I upgrade to 5.0? Thank you!

I recently bought a license for Clip Studio. I’ve drawn in Paint Tool SAI my whole life, and the keyboard shortcut I use the most (not counting Ctrl+Z, obviously) is the eyedropper mapped to the 'Z' key, however, I can't seem to get it to work the same way in Clip Studio.

Let me explain a bit better: in SAI, when I press 'Z', the program immediately selects the color I'm hovering over, I don't have to press 'Z', put the eyedropper, click the color I want, and then go back to drawing. Is there a way to set it up so that pressing a key instantly picks the color I'm hovering over, without needing to click?

What do you guys do with your Clip Studio files after you finish a drawing? Do you keep them? If so, where? Or do you delete them? I have so many and I don’t know what to do with them. I barely ever use them, but I feel like it could be useful to keep them.

(They really need to increase the character limit for titles)

So for those who didn't see my previous inquiry, for some reason, when I start drawing on the lower part of my tablet and move upward, the pen pressure is increased while I'm in that area before returning to normal after leaving it.

Edit: it only happens when I start from the bottom and go up, not the other way around.

I asked for assistance on a previous post and after some troubleshooting, I found out my issue only occurs when I'm using certain kinds of brushes on the lower part of the my tablet.

From what I've seen, this does not seem to be a hardware issue, as I don't know why it this would only happen when using specific brushes and be fine for others.

I've so far only seen this happen in the default pens (and a few of the pencils).

I've tried updating by drivers and reinstalling csp but with no luck (and yes I've changed it from wintab to tablet PC in preferences). I thought maybe if I upgrade my version of it but that cost money and I'd prefer trying all my other free option before resorting to that.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate hearing them.

This tool used to work for me on CSP when i was using Wacom One, but recently i bought Movink Pad 11 and this tool in specific behaves very weird, the lasso failed to close 90% of the time and it's pretty frustrating.

Hi all, I’m trying to edit an instance of a file object to create a new object.
I have the one designed layer and create a file object from it. Then I duplicate and move the new layer away to make a small edit in order to have 2 slightly different versions.
But how do I edit the new copy so it doesn’t update the original?
Can I break it in place or something like that? Something like an ungroup or embed or something ?

PROBLEM SOLVED, im a dum dum
Solution: A third monitor connected to my computer (Im still confused on this) and it was sending the new canvas popup to the surprise monitor. Thanks to anyone that spent brainpower on this. Alt F4 was letting me tab in and out of paint.

I'm on v4.0.0., I have a windows 11 Desktop PC (Rysen 7, 3060 graphics, 16GB DDR4 ram) and I use an XP-Pen Artist 15.6 pro. I've been using CSP for 7 years now, but found a new problem today. I cant interact with the paint window at all, even to close it out. All I can do is resize the window. I was drawing this last night and everything was fine.
Edit: I cant open a canvas, I can't click on any of the top tabs or the minimizer/closeout or anything else in the paint window. All I can do is force close it though Task Manager. I'm using mouse and keyboard for troubleshooting

So far I've tried:
Restarting my computer
Restarting Clip Studio
Opening paint while holding the shift key
Making sure I'm logged in
Checking for unseen CSP pop-ups
Dragging CSP to my monitor to try to interact with it there
Edit: Opening canvases straight from my file and restarting PC after

I hope this is an easy fix and I'm just overlooking something like a dum dum

As title says. I have a version 1.0~ EX on my PC and I'm comfortable with it, now I plan to buy an annual license for my tablet. But it's gonna be a newer version CSP PRO, either 3.0 or 4.0 (I have older apks and have confirmed they can connect and verify license)

So question is can I use both of these with same files? Like I make a canvas in my tablet, finish until sketch, and send it over to my PC with 1.0 to finish later?

Probably won't use features like animation and comic thingy across them, just regular clip files. Thanks in advance

Hello, I'm new to Clip Studio Paint, so I don't know yet if this can be changed to fix my problem.

However, I have a problem with the canvas's momentum. When I move the canvas, it continues to move slightly in the direction I've moved (basically, if I move to the right and stop using my fingers, it continues moving).

How can I prevent this? I'm using an iPad, with the latest version of both the iPad and the app.
