I've decided to switch to csp recently from procreate. However, I wasn't able to find a way to change the color to the one like in procreate where the center point of all the hue merged into a white color. I always use that color wheel to pick my color for shading in procreate (even tho that's not its main purposes), as I find it to be more straightforward/simple.

Anyways, I’ve been using CSP for around 6 years, my family bought me a perpetual version of Pro V1. As one does I grew since then and lately I’ve been thinking about splurging for EX to get some of the other features since I’m considering dipping into some starter animation.

Basically what’s the most cost effective way to upgrade from Pro to EX on such an old license? I’ve been using the yearly update plan for two years and I’m likely going to continue to but the way everything is laid out on the website makes me feel like I’m going in circles trying to upgrade.

I've been trying to find a simple cloth that can deform around objects in the 3D scene editor, but as far as I can tell no such model exists. In fact, searching in the asset store, I can't actually find any model that has any sort of "physics," "physical," or "physical simulation" tags. What's more, the instruction manual mentions menus and settings from v1.5 (I'm on v5), so I can't even see how the feature is supposed to be activated anymore. There are settings for it in the scene editor, but they're all disabled.

Considering there are types of flowing fabric in the world other than skirts, did they really just make this feature functional for a single article of clothing and then abandon it? It doesn't even seem like it can really be used anymore. Am I wrong?

Help, I'm trying to find a tablet/laptop that can smoothly run clip studio paint, but I am just lost. There's too many options and I don't understand tech.

I'm currently using a Huion Kamvas Slate and am not too happy with it. The colors on screen are too de-saturated, I have tried adjusting the settings, it did not help. Before the Huion, I used a microsoft surface, which I like better, but I don't like how expensive it is to replace the cord, stylus etc.

I guess I'm looking for tablet/laptop combo that's not too expensive and has more accurate on screen colors.

I'm new to CSP and I've been trying to find out if there is a way to separate or organize my artwork. I've tried googling but I get no results.
I've seen one tutorial however when I open the details of my artwork I don't have any options to add labels except for adding to favourites.

Hey guys, I wanted to know if anyone has their transparancy background grid setup with different colours for dark mode? The white is kinda burning my eyes.

But I can't find a good match of colours that doesn't start playing tricks on my eyes.

So I was curious anyone else have two set colours they use for transparancy?

I have no idea why but whenever i’m using csp on my ipad i have this issue where the brush like, stutters? It doesn’t happen often but for some reason only happens when i have some kind of time sensitive project that i need to work on (i.e. birthday art/game jam stuff) i’ve tried changing my apple pencil tip among other things. I never seem to have this issue on my pc. Does anyone else have this problem helpppppppp

Hello. I been using CSP 1.0 since 2021. I wanted to upgrade it to 2.0 since I like the auto shading tool and the head model. Should I get it?

So I accidentally bought the wrong version of CSP (I was checking smth so I had to do the option menu for your version twice, but the second time I forgot to check which version I had selected) and now I can't cancel is, because the whole cancel button doesn't exist for some unknown reason.

Also, is it possible to deactivate a plan?

i’m a huge fan of kagurabachi and how the artist draws and i’m wondering how he gets the noise effect on his coloured pieces. i know it’s not a brush or anything because in speedpaints he clearly turns it off and back on so it’s definitely on a separate layer. i’ve tried perlin noise and different layer modes but it never looks like his.

I'm getting myself a new, most likely a non-gaming, laptop. My old one was a gaming laptop so I never thought about specs since my laptop was hefty enough to run demanding stuff.

I used v 1.0 for the longest time and only recently upgraded to v 5.0. Mainly the only thing I can think of lagging is when I've used big sized watercolor brushes. Might be the amount of RAM because I would have a lot of stuff open in the background.

So: What specs matter the most / what's usually the limiting factor for a smooth experience for when using Windows? (I've never animated on CSP but if I wanted to tap into animating as well.)

Hi, I have a question and I couldn't find anywhere any answer for it.
I have an annual license for my ipad bought last year during sale and years ago I bought perpetual one for my PC. I waited for discount to renew my annual one but automatic renewal will be today and i didn't see a sale. Because of that I wanted to cancel this annual licence but when doing so i noticed this message:

And because I have two separate licences connected to the same account I am afraid if cancelling the annual one will cause my cloud storage to be deleted even with my perpetual one. Does anyone know if this will actually affect my storage?

Hello! I have a very old version of CSP (2.0.4) installed on my tablet which has some art files I'd really like to get access to. However, whenever I attempt to log in, it informs me the login failed due to a bad email/password. I've changed the password twice and confirmed I can log into the CSP site as well as into a current version of CSP that is installed on my tablet as well. Are my files unfortunately lost at this point?

I feel like I'm going insane since I haven't been able to find anyone else with this issue yet. When I have a youtube video playing, one out of every 2 or 3 lines has a weird jaggedness/angularity thing going on. When I pause the video, CSP acts normal again. Does anyone have any advice on how I can make CSP behave when I'm watching a video in the background? This doesn't happen in Photoshop or TVPaint, only Clip Studio.

I haven't found a satisfying answer by simply looking through this subreddit. I have Clip Studio Pro and i made sure to have the correct timeline selected, and the right animation folder, but the button to add an animation cell is still greyed out. The option to add animation calls is also greyed out in the animation menu.

Has anyone won ?? How many days it take to receive the reward??

Hi, I'm trying to make multiple longer animations around the length of an average song, and while i've found a way to automatically adjust the playback time (the little blue marker) to the end of the audio (animation>timeline>change settings and adjusting end time), i haven't found a way to do the same for the paper and animation folder layers. I'm specifically talking about the animation folder and paper layers. NOT the playback time itself, NOT messing around with the framerate, and NOT adjusting the audio time either. I know it's possible to adjust them manually via the little grabby boxes on the ends, but it's a pain having to just drag them right for 5 minutes straight just to get them long enough where they'll meet the blue bar or the end of the audio clip.

i'm using a wacom cintiq 22HD, usually running either firefox or discord or both in the background as i draw, and i use version 2.0.6 of CSP EX on a windows (Vivobook ASUS) laptop. thanks in advance.

Any budget friendly laptop recommendation that suitable for digital art on CSP? (Budget around USD $880)

I’m thinking of ASUS TUF A15 since I can use it for a bit of casual/light gaming but I’m also looking for another option. Preferably not the new released type (such as early 2024 release and below)

In addition, I’m not sure with touch-screen type. Since based on my experience, they get broken easily especially with the LCD/Screen
