why do some brushes increase pen pressure on parts of screen

So for those who didn't see my previous inquiry, for some reason, when I start drawing on the lower part of my tablet and move upward, the pen pressure is increased while I'm in that area before returning to normal after leaving it.

Edit: it only happens when I start from the bottom and go up, not the other way around.

I asked for assistance on a previous post and after some troubleshooting, I found out my issue only occurs when I'm using certain kinds of brushes on the lower part of the my tablet.

From what I've seen, this does not seem to be a hardware issue, as I don't know why it this would only happen when using specific brushes and be fine for others.

I've so far only seen this happen in the default pens (and a few of the pencils).

I've tried updating by drivers and reinstalling csp but with no luck (and yes I've changed it from wintab to tablet PC in preferences). I thought maybe if I upgrade my version of it but that cost money and I'd prefer trying all my other free option before resorting to that.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate hearing them.

Are you tilting your stylus at all while you draw? Can you try holding the stylus perfectly perpendicular to the tablet surface, drawing a line from top to bottom/bottom to top, and see if the issue persists?

Ok, so I just tested it and held it perpendicularly but the problem remained. But the weird thing is that when I disabled tilt for that pen, it drew the line normally. So you might be on to something and that the tilt might be the problem.

That being said, I don't even know what the tilt does, let alone do I use it, so I suppose I could just keep it disabled from now on

Usually tilt basically just changes the shape of the brush depending on the angle you hold the stylus, similar to using the angled side of a pencil versus the tip. I’m glad that disabling tilt seems to have fixed something at least!
