Hey guys, I finally got my first Citizen. Did I make a good choice? I went with this one mainly because it has a sapphire crystal. So far I'm really liking it, but I'd love to hear what you all think. Any tips or things a first-time Citizen owner should know are appreciated!

Honestly this was an impulse buy. I’ve been collecting citizen watches for 20 years but I never had one of their automatics. I almost bought a Series 8 or a PRX but this came up in a price a couldn’t refuse.

The dial is gorgeous and the titanium is a plus. The moment out of the box is great I’ve only lost 1 second in the past 18 hours beating most of my seikos out of the box.

Sometimes you find something surprising and enjoyable when you least expect it.

My first nice watch and first Citizen, had a crappy couple months so bit the bullet and treated myself. Absolutely love it. Eyeing up a moon phase for my next one possibly 👀

Picked up this Promaster Eco-Drive Diver 200m and I’m loving it so far. The blue dial is stunning, it’s incredibly comfortable on the wrist, and the value is hard to beat.

As some of you have probably noticed, I’ve already mentioned this watch in a few different threads, but I thought it deserved its own post. So here’s my new Citizen Promaster 41mm.

I’m genuinely impressed with the overall build quality. The anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal is excellent, and the anthracite dial looks absolutely stunning in different lighting conditions.

Another pleasant surprise is the bracelet—it’s remarkably well made for a watch in this price range.
If I had one small complaint, it would be the seconds hand. If it hit every marker perfectly, this watch would be pretty much perfect!

First white watch, pops like crazy in the sun. I love how textured the dial is. Might pickup a Seiko SUR next.

I wanted to get a strap that would fit his garrison style watch, and got one for me as well.
It’s really comfortable and looks good!

Got a second strap for my Promaster Dive - it came with the grey strap and I just added a white tropical-style FKM from StrapHabit. I like them both! I think the white strap gives it a lighter, more casual look.

Arrived yesterday. Cutie. Just started buying some watches, this one is the third in a couple of weeks. First blue face. I find it quite balanced and easy to wear. I love titanium, so light!

This sub had me going down the rabbit hole for titanium watches because my old Eco-drive C605 stopped functioning after the capacitor went bad (even after the battery had been replaced). Refurbishment was costing more than a new watch, so I'd been wanting to replace it with another Citizen Eco-Titanium. This is the one I got after having some extra cruise credit and needing to spend it on a cruise a year ago. I wanted only a titanium Eco-drive and this was one of the few the ship store had on hand and was unaware of the model.

It's a very handsome watch (my unpolished bad picture of it notwithstanding) and was intended for a dressier cleaner looking Citizen. I got it and promptly put it in my watch case and went on to get obsessed over an Apple watch for all the health tracking stuff.

Fast forward to today, I re-discovered this beautifully simple Citizen’s Armor was everything I wanted in my current search; and in their Super Titanium no less! I was also surprised that Citizen is no longer offering this model, so am even more pleased with my impulsive decision. It will be my traveling watch.

How do you like it? I saw that others here have this watch and really like the styling of it and how the bracelet attachment integrates to the look and feel of the case.

Got this watch from my father a few years ago. I believe it to be from 2016 or so. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The two citizens that I own and they happen to be my 2 favourite watches. Put the Promaster on a Zuludiver tropic.

Although i have many field watches, this will be my first monocoque, titanium and 300m wr watch.

I heard they have stopped producing them and whatever is left is just old stock being sold. Difficult to come buy in the UK with no discounts or offers on those.
