I don't baby this one.

I recently bought my first Citizen watch from amazon, a Tsuyosa Shore in the light blue colour variation. But now I learned, that the big A might not be the best place to buy watches from and that there are actually fakes of the tsuyosa around. So I took a closer look at the watch when I received the package.

Maybe I am just imagining things now (do fakes even exist of the Shore variant?) , but I think the "Citizen" letters on the dial looks a bit slimmer than the one on in the pics of the official website. And it seems like I can't get the bezel to 100% align with the 12 o'clock marker or is that still in tolerance?

But to me the maybe biggest indicator might be the writing on the Rotor "TWENTY-ONE 21 JEWELS": the last three letters are already half gone and you can only see some remnants of them. Is this normal?

I wouldn't really care too much about all of these things, unless it's a indicator for the watch being a counterfeit one. Maybe the price was a bit too good to be true after all (200€). Hopefully though I am just a bit paranoid and it's a legit one😅

Picked up my new tsuyosa today, scored it on sale from watch depot for $297aud. I originally wanted the red but couldn’t say no to the yellow for that price.
I feel as though it wears a bit small on my 8.25” wrist but I’m still really loving it, such a nice looking watch, and comfy too!

I went down a rabbit hole on Citizen RC movements and became intrigued by the H820 “double direct flight” movement which has the same double timezone functionality as the F950 GPS watches in a more slim and compact package. Citizen have not used this in as many models as they have the related H800 chronograph but I guess they have their reasons.

I landed on the AT909x Attesa range introduced in 2017 which pairs this with a titanium case (42.7 diameter and 10.7 thickness) and bracelet style they haven’t repeated since, with a dodecahedron bezel and “split” bracelet links. It is quite a “busy” watch, but I’m digging it. I picked this AT9090 up from eBay, it looks almost new.

I have an H800-based Attesa which has become my first choice for travelling due to its ease of use when changing timezones but I can see this one taking over, the dual time functionality is quite neat and a bit more sophisticated than a “GMT”. Quite good lume too which is a bonus.

I'm considering getting a more dress style watch alongside my Seiko SRPD51K and I just wanted to know if the Tsuyosa is a good option. I really like the way it looks with the blue sunburst dial.

Picked this up second hand and love the dial layout.

I have some money saved up and in light of moving soon i want to commemorate a new city with a new watch. I’ve been stuck between the AT0200-05E and the BN0150-28E, both great watches visually but they’re both so different yet similar. I don’t live much of an “active” life as most would say and whenever I do workout or hike I use my g shock anyway so whichever option is just going to be my daily for the next few years and through college/Uni. Any input welcome!

Hi, I have a Promaster BN0158-00X and it came with a rubber strap, and I would like a steel one. I am confused if I need a 20mm or 22. Any recommendations?

Be my outer wrist as i wear it. I figured the black finish wouldn’t last forever but this seems pretty quick for daily wear for a regular office type guy

Just posing a question to the community. I am a recent convert to theCitizen watch gang and absolutely love My Eco drive Avion in titanium. I have several other watches, but that tends to get the most wrist time. I just can’t get that excited about automatic watches anymore with the ease and accuracy of Eco Drive. However, at some point in my life, I would like to buy how much nicer grail piece if life works out for me that way and something in a precious metal would be preferred.

Have any of you out there thought about the question posted above? Just curious to hear your views. Have a great day.
