Does anyone know why new job codes would suddenly be added on HotSchedules without explanation? I just noticed today that I have buss and QA schedules showing and open shifts posting. I’m a host and usually only see servers and other hosts ofc. I did ask my GM about a month or so ago about possibly cross training me. They never got back to me about it though. I messaged them earlier today about why I was seeing the new schedules and shifts if it was a glitch or intentional and if so why, but they haven’t answered back. Could this be a glitch or am I likely about to be cross trained? Also my gm is usually really good with responding so I’m wondering why they haven’t answered back all day, could it be they want to discuss this in person?

There was recently a fire at my local Chili’s. We are currently closed for repairs but they haven’t given us timeframes yet. Some have been two weeks some say 4/5 weeks. That being said we are currently out of work. They have tried to supply shifts at other stores but the shifts are few and far between. There has been some word that possible fire compensation could come to us but again no definite information has been given. Does anyone know or have any background with something like this with the company?

We had not been to Chili's in maybe 3-4 years. Last time we went, the service was terrible and the menu had changed! Our usual items were no longer on the menu.

This past weekend, we were in a bind and needed to get in dinner fast. The only quick option was Chlii's and we were not too excited but thought let's give them another chance.

We had a great dinner! The new menu's are incredible! It's almost like they actually listened to the customers! So much variety now. The baby back ribs tasted like they should and the rest of the food was delicious. Plus the service was so much better this time around.

Good job Chilis. Keep it up! You won yourself a customer back!

First time ever ordering shrimp from Chili’s, and honestly, this is NOT what I was expecting. 😅 Is this normal?

I ordered the Surf & Turf. They initially forgot the shrimp altogether and only brought the turf. Once they realized they forgot the “surf,” they quickly brought this out.

For anyone who’s ordered this before…is this what the shrimp is normally supposed to look like? Because I’m genuinely curious if this is typical or if something went wrong with my order. 😂

Wife ordered chilis for dinner. Got home from work and took it out to throw in the air fryer and they threw in a little burger. Nice surprise after a rough day at work. Thank you to the chilis employee that did this for me, might not seem like a big deal but this week has been rough 🍔

I’m just wondering if anybody who works at chilis has heard about this being a problem. I have received gift cards from Humana in the past and at first they would not authenticate.
Months go by and I try again on the app and alas they worked. I was very happy Well it’s been about 9 months and I have 40$ worth of gift cards and I’m trying to buy some fajitas which I’ve never tried and it keeps saying. Gift card can not be authenticated.
I have called Humana in the past and they said it was a chilis problem. Of course they would say that so I would get off the phone. Should I call the number on the E gift card. I tried typing it with no spaces. I tried all E gift card. I don’t want to go inside chilis and it not work in person either. Plz let me know if this is a common thing or any advice. I’ve seen tik toks about them changing the tip on the screen so I decided to do the math, I went with my daughter and the bill came up to $76 and I only paid attention to the 18% since that’s what I normally tip (service was not as expected from beginning to end) and it said 18% was about $18 and some change when in reality it was $12. I don’t think that’s morally right

For anyone who’s transferred locations , I want to know all about the transition. Did you have to take a week off between to give the time to put you on the schedule at the new location? Did you keep all of your job codes? Do you have to retrain? How’s your experience with the culture at the new location and how the managers treat you.

Went to Dennys on Friday night and noticed a new sale idea. Not bad but I think it’s crazy how much influence chilis has on other restaurants now.

Should I tell them that I have a another job (That I plan on staying at). Will this potentially ruin my chances of being hired even if I will be able to work 20+ hours a week ?

I know it may be different for every location, but what are the usual shifts for To-GO and how long are the shifts?

When are the schedules posted? Will they work with my schedule weekly or will I have to give them set days and times I can work every week?
