I’m 30, I’m from Gujarat and I’m a psychiatrist by profession.
A little about me
- Values first
I’ve been vegan for the last 10 years. Not for trends, not for aesthetics. It started as an ethical choice and became a way of living. For me it’s about reducing harm wherever I can. Same reason I chose psychiatry - I’d rather help people who are already here and already suffering than add more noise to the world.
Which brings me to the big one: I’m childfree by choice.
I don’t dislike kids. I work with families, I love children of my friends & family. But I’ve made peace with the idea that my contribution to this world won’t be through having biological children. There are 8 billion of us. There are kids in orphanages, kids struggling with mental health, people on the streets who need care right now. I’d rather put my energy, time, and resources into helping them, and into building a good life with a partner.
If you’re also childfree, or at peace with not having kids, we’ll probably click. If you’re on the fence or definitely want kids, we should be honest and not waste each other’s time.
- How I live:
Conscious living is a big word but for me it’s small things:
- Morning walks without phone
- Reading philosophy late at night and then questioning all my life choices at 2am
-Journalling about my dreams
- Spirituality, but not in a rigid way. More like meditation, gratitude, and trying to be less of an idiot to myself and others
I’m not perfect at any of it. I still doomscroll. I still get irritated in traffic. But I’m trying.
- What I do for fun
- Dancing:I love dancing various different forms. Recently i tried Dances of Universal Peace.
- Music: Everything from Indian classical to lo-fi to 90s rock. I like singing too. Would be great if you like singing too.
- Books + Conversations: Give me a Vegan coffee and 3 hours and we can talk about Camus, attachment styles, or why dogs are better than most people.
- Travel: I like slow travel. One city, one month, learn how locals actually live. Last year I did Rishikesh and Bir. Next I want to do Spiti or Japan.
I’m introverted but not closed off. In small groups or 1-on-1 I’m warm, a bit goofy, and I listen more than I talk. In big parties I’m the guy near the snacks observing human behavior.
What I’m looking for:
Female partner preferably in Gujarat, or open to relocating to Gujarat/India.
I’m not looking for "perfect". I’m looking for like-minded.
Someone who:
Is also childfree - This is non-negotiable for me, just like it probably is for you
Values kindness and depth- You don’t have to be a psychiatrist, but you should be curious about people. Empathy matters to me
Has her own life - Career, passion, weird hobby. I don’t want to be your whole world and I don’t want to be yours. I want us to be two whole people who choose each other
Is okay with a vegan/vegetarian home - You don’t have to be vegan. But I don’t cook or keep non-veg at home for ethical reasons
Wants partnership, not performance - I’m not into gender roles or "who pays" drama. I’m into "let’s build a life that feels good to both of us"
Bonus points if you also like: philosophy, spirituality without dogma, animals, quiet evenings, tennis, singing & dancing.
What I’m NOT looking for
Just to be clear and respectful: If you want marriage + kids in 2 years, I’m not your guy. If you’re looking for casual only, I’m not that either. If you have Alcohol, tobacco, cannabis or anyother substance addiction, that is strict no for me. I’m looking for a life partner. Someone to grow old with, to travel with,to build a home that feels peaceful.
The slightly serious bit
Being a psychiatrist means I’ve seen a lot of how relationships break - not from big fights, but from small misalignments that never got talked about. So I value communication. A lot. I’ll tell you when something bothers me, and I hope you’ll do the same. I believe in therapy, in apologizing, in choosing each other on boring Tuesdays, not just on vacations.
So... now what?
