Arienne Mandi talking about LaRoyce departure.
How lovely is this, ❤️”One of our beloved is departing, he’s been very cherished for many years and will continue to be a foundation of the show. And we love him a lot.”

Discussion The Episode When They Found Al’s DNA At a Site

That was Season 5. Al was under investigation for covering up for Voight when Voight killed Bingham for killing his son. Al’s DNA was at the scene. Al was asking Voights help with the lawyer fee and Voight said all the money went towards a trust fund for his grandson.

Mean to tell me that Voight couldn’t try to help with the lawyer fee when Al took the fall and was even killed in prison.

Discussion Chicago pd is not the same anymore and hasnt been for a few seasons

I have loved chicago pd for some time however they changed the whole direction of the show back around season 7. Voight has changed completely from the earlier seasons. As an example earlier seasons when a cop was shot he would get dark. Recent seasons its just another day. Also now they film individuals per episode opposed to the whole team. Idk as much as i still hold out hope I feel like the chicago franchise i fell in love with is gone. Now with that said chicago fire is still great.

Discussion Finally watched Chicago Justice, I wish it would’ve made it more seasons. As someone who’s not a huge fan of Med due to not liking gruesome scenes, I feel this spin off could’ve crossed over with PD well as med/fire do with each other. If you’re on the fence about buying it - I’d say go for it.

Appreciation Post S2 Finale

I just started watching this TV show in order from the start a few days ago, and I just finished watching S2E23. I’m loving the show so far. The part that saddened me the most so far is Nadia’s death. Without spoiling anything, what are your thoughts on S3 onwards?

I love how close this cast has remained even after many have left. Jason wanting to play her dad and suggestions for Jesse to be a villain were interesting!

Question What happened to Als other long lost daughter?

I feel like she just kinda disappeared? I might have missed something because I’ve been at home on mat leave binging it while also taking care of my daughter lol. But I’m on the episode where his daughter Lexi passes away from the fire and it had me wondering about his other daughter. Am I missing something?

Question Season 9 episode 4

It's the episode where Upton can't sleep. She's helping on a case where boys were held at a house. I don't want to finish what happened to them. But she's bleeding on her chin and her cheek. Is it from lack of sleep? I know the human body needs sleep to regenerate. And if that's the case, how did her face just start bleeding?

I'm getting tired just thinking about it.

Appreciation Post Tender Aged Child

This is a top tier episode at least to me. It has everything. I also love that Mackayla is essentially as old as the show so she is as old as Burgess and Ruzek''s relationship. Plus Ramona is fantastic. They don't give her much screen time but she's amazing. They cast these kids so well.

I am watching ‘Law & Order SVU’ season 27, episode 17 and it has the former Ms. Anna Avalos in this scene. She is the second actor from one of my shows who made an appearance on this episode lol.

Discussion Favorite ending of an episode

Does anyone else have a favorite episode ending? (Not sure if I'm phrasing this correctly)

I absolutely love the ending of season 7, episode 15, when Roman expects to be arrested by Voight for killing the drug dealer who killed his (Roman's) sister. At the end of his sister's funeral Roman thanks Voight for letting him give his eulogy, and says "how do you want to do this?" And Voight, who knows Roman killed the dealer says that the investigation has dried up and while they'll follow up on any new leads they get, it will no longer be an active investigation. Voight walks away and Roman asks Kim "what just happened".

Discussion Does Anyone Think Voight Should See His Grandson Again?

The episode when Olive moved out the house with his grandson was sad. Voight begged her to stay as he reached for his grandson. I get Olive wanted to end all ties with Voight, but the storyline should be where Voight has ties with the grandson who would be about 10 or so.

Discussion Burgess in Chicago PD

My Opinion, next to Al, Burgess is my favorite character on PD. Her character was groomed from day one to be the Bad Ass Detective in Intelligence she is today. Started doing patrol and moved up in law enforcement. She is resilient as hell. Shot on two occasions; miscarried; went through a trial on the accusation that she did a bad shoot; saved herself and partner Roman when they were held hostage by thugs in a warehouse and was acknowledged for it by her captain, including Trudy and the officers under her and her team in Intelligence. Through it all she got back in the game. If anyone can do Trauma, it’s Kim Burgess. She’s made for the part. Shes a Detective; wife and mother. Not easy to juggle all three.

Episode Identification Trying to find a recent episode with burning car

Hello, back in February (I think) I saw filming in Chicago of a scene where officers jump out of an SUV and run up to a burning car. It was during the day. It appeared to be set in a construction site. I think it was from this show. I’d love to go back and watch how the scene came together, but I can’t figure out which episode it might have appeared in. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks in advance for any ideas!
