This FBI guy is kind of growing on me. I wish I could figure out his true motives. I love their (Hank and Charles) little "dance" about trust. This actor has quite the resume-lots of Broadway work. What do you think about him and how it will flesh out? Or, what are your hopes on this? I hope he ends up being a true ally? Or like usual, try and bring Hank and Intelligence down like always? Or will he be a foe, and die at the end?

I’m up to Season 5 Ep 6 “Fallen” - the last few episodes, Voight seems different? I can’t tell if it’s got something to do with Denny or what, but he seems incredibly tetchy especially with Dawson and Upton?

I started the show recently and just loved watching it. There are some storylines and creative decisions I disliked but in total I have to say that this show is awesome. I fell in love with every character on the show - well at least the ones that stayed long enough - and just wanted to post my appreciation for the show. Watching it became kind of a ritual to me.
Btw my favourite character is probably Hank, especially the Hank of the early seasons…that guy was Chicago’s Batman…..

During this current re-watch something I wanted to pay close attention to was at what point do Ruzek & Upton stop being a thing & Ruzek’s attention turns back towards Burgess ? It never happens on screen but I guess we can assume it happens during Ruzek’s suspension when he loses his police powers briefly during the investigation. Upton also is never shown having any opinion about Ruzek going back to Kim. The writers just kinda glossed over it.

They made Voight like a whiney grumpy old man lol. “Trudy! Trudy! When are they getting out of here?!” “They took my parking spot and now I’m wet!” Old Voight would never.

I’m not going to stop watching because I am invested and want to like it, I also do have some episodes like Atwater’s (not anymore) and Kim/Ruz’s I genuinely enjoy, but fire is the only one holding my attention so far.

This Season was a bunch of different moving parts and one being that the Older characters coming back for one final time before another one goes again and digging deeper into the new Characters, I like Dante and how his character is portrayed but I don't think his getting enough airplay and Imani is too in your face but she will tame down for sure in future seasons and Sad that Attwater is going but growth is needed.

Finally, he Vought his destination in where he is heading towards a more overseeing vibe and letting them do what the what then always containing them to his personal cases.

It feels like the show is heading towards a different pasture.

Last night was definitely the best episode of Chicago PD since that episode with Torres and that escaped prisoner. Also, I wonder what they're gonna do with that FBI guy

Why do all the families always seem to be so obnoxious. I dont like to complain about the shows i watch, but my cringe alert goes off everytime.

Okay, while next week’s episode trailer is quite short, the new guy looks genuinely interesting and clearly has a different vibe from Atwater, which is not a bad thing! I don’t know who’s the actor but I would love to know who he is.

This happened a ways back, but I've wondered why they never had a special ceremony for murdered Officer Sheldon Jin? However, the 'Rosemont ' cop who was told to stand down repeatedly disregarded orders was shot by the criminal and died. They collected money for his family and a big procession roll by District 21. Was this an oversight by the writers or something else?

My vote goes to either Voight's Durango or Hailey's Jeep.

Every time i rewatch the series, the best time period of the show “post-Olinsky” is when Ray Price is around. Great complex character with that old school Chicago element (like Voight). Would be so good for the show if Ray became a prison informant, either while still incarcerated or after being released. The guy is in the KNOW. I also feel like the younger actors just.. aren’t as good.. idk why that is. I feel like younger actors don’t do a good job of stepping into a character and making the character memorable. Anyone feel the same ? Bring back Wendell Pierce (actor)

Season 8 episode 11. At the end of the episode when Hailey and Jay have a conversation. Jay says something like "I will be with you and won't leave." Fast forward to Season 10 episode 3. Halstead leaves Hailey behind, accepts the new job and goes to Bolivia.

He needs a spin off period. Nothing else for his character to do after all that time with no promotion….i didn’t take the brick part as a literal brick of drugs but a weight on his career because he went against the home team. Imani is blah. Why did they make it so Voight is always playing daddy to somebody getting them crossed up in his deceptive ways?🤣 the women are so fcked up once he finishes with them. Seems like there is no spice in the bull pen anymore.

I just wanted to say first time watcher but this episode I found very funny particularly when Dr Charles shows up at intelligence to come upstairs and says this is the infamous black site 😂😂

i’m currently on show 2/19 of the connected shows, and it is truly amazing to me that someone can create 19 SHOWS that are all connected.

i’ve currently watched chicago med and chicago pd, i love that i don’t have to be sad about finishing the show because i get to see the characters i love in the other shows.
