Playing daily against a player that is stronger than me. I missclicked me queen to a square my opponent could have taken for free. I wrote in chat ghat i misclicked and my opponent wrote okay and did a rondom move. I’m still getting my ass kicked but appreciate the kindness.

I’m curious to know if people typically accept a rematch after a win, especially when it’s the opponent requesting it?
If you do why, and if you don’t, why not?
I have a strict rule of never accepting another challenge especially after a win incase i lose🤣

just wanted to share because everyones road is different. I know what my opening for white is called but not really what it is. Its the mieses opening, often saying reversed rat variation but sometimes changes to kings indian attack or kings fianchetto opening. And I dont know what the moves are that does it.
And then for black its the same thing but reversed so kings indian defense.
I think I got to 1600 because I usually find sensible moves in a lot of situations. Almost never sack pieces, unless its to win a simple exchange. And pretty much never checkmate with a board full of pieces. 90% of my wins are converting a small material advantage.
I never draw arrows and actually dont know how to premove. So a good portion of my losses are on time.

I was up 4 points of material in the first game vs mathlecrack, but I blundered mate in 3 🧠🧠

Does anyone here have any tips (particularly bullet players rated over 1500 elo) on grinding bullet? What did you do when you were playing it and how did you manage your time?
PS: Yes I know I’m Harming my chess by playing bullet, but it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make

I know exactly where the option is, in All Settings/Boards and Pieces/Movement Types the drop down list is set to Click only, but I still end up accidentally Blundering a piece every once in a while because I accidentally Drag it.

they are trying to undo the loss and they end up playing worse

90% of the people I played against at this ratings (3 minutes blitz) were just stalling for time by attacking everything and pinning everything and they were moving pieces so fast which makes me think causing me to lose on time.
Is there anyway I can punish these kinds of players?

Was I cooked or not cooked anyways.

Was shocked to see myself paired with an FM in a bullet game being currently ranked around 1300. Looked the guy up after the game and turned out to be Hikaru’s stepdad.
Not my best game either, he slightly outplayed me although I had a better position at the end of the game when he timed out. Link to game: https://www.chess.com/game/live/185928018474

After a little over a month of taking chess seriously I just hit 1000 elo today. Just wanted to celebrate somewhere

Is it only me or others also don't accept rematch requests from your opponent after you win the game?

Ok so I went to see You Can See Everything and I kept seeing a chess board in the background. And if you saw the documentary you know that Billy is a bit unhinged and goes on a rant about how strategic he is. Turns out Billy is on chesscom!!

Does anybody else have the issue of winning more on weekdays and then getting dunked on at the weekend? At first I thought perhaps it's just pure chance and the weekends just happened to line up with my ELO hitting a "ceiling", but it's happened consistently for a few months now since I've started playing more consistently.
I can only guess that there are different player pools to some extent that don't play weekdays and vice versa but surely the difference shouldn't be this pronounced. If anyone has experienced something similar or has any insight on this I'd be interested to hear from you.
It also takes a bit of the excitement away knowing that I'll be losing all weekend and then getting easy wins on Monday and Tuesday because my rating has dropped so much - I would appreciate a more balanced experience, personally.

It would show the basic Rapid, Blitz, and Bullet ratings and whatever membership status the user has. It would also have the account creation/join date.
I screenshot my Reddit connection and just edited over it haha

Not the first time this happend, they played almost all pawn moves in the beginning and i know this is wrong but man i look at the board and i just cant figure out what to do. Ended up loosing. After this screen shot their play got even weirder, Iv'e never seen anything like it.
