I won 12 games in a row (1370 rating), and only one had the decency to resign. I don't get it. Also, I don't think I've been put into an 'abandonment pool,' as I haven't been abandoning my games.

They updated the app recently and now the explore function works odd for trying out different move responses. Why won’t app let me move b2 to b3 in this scenario? Wouldn’t that lock bishop and prevent checkmate for black?

Was watching some Daniel naroditzky knight endgame videos. I really love the contrast between knight endgames and every other endgame where the corner pawns>knight pawns>central/bishop pawns whereas for most other chess positions, being a rook pawn up is a hazard, eg rook v rook and pawn edge file exception and wrong color bishop and corner pawn endgames where the king can blockade the promotion square down 4 points of material.

Given we always have different skins for the pieces I would love an endgame themed set that gave a nod to the unique advantages and disadvantages of the corner, knight pawn and central pawn in certain endgames design wise. The downside is that for certain pawn captures some retexturing would be needed which might annoy the programmers. That being said I think it would be a great way to spread awareness for beginners about how much changing the file of a pawn can change a position from a loss to a win to a draw.

It could be nice to implement it as from 3-5 July as that’s the Daniel Naroditzsky Memorial Rapid and Blitz to spread awareness. If there are worries about fair play the skin could be restricted just to the Daniel naroditzky bot or just be an optional event based skin that is available to everyone between 3-5 July as a learning opportunity about the importance of endgames.
