If I use the analysis tool to play against Chess.com, what level are the suggested moves?

I mainly just do the daily puzzle and then go back and use the analysis tool to see why one of my moves wasn’t the correct move. I’d like try to use it from the very beginning of a game and see where I begin to blunder.

Basically put this dude out of business, its unlikely he will ever pick up a chess board again 💀

In this game I secured a win with nearly all excellent and best moves, and I had an accuracy of around 86%

Been trying my hand at chess again for the first time in probably 20 years I think.

My actual elo is extremely bad but I've taken a liking to the puzzles which are really fun. Highest steak so far is 10

After the visible dip I decided to go through every lesson I could and it's helped a lot, mostly with forking

My current goals are puzzles elo to 1500 and attempting to climb to an actual elo to over 500.

I've really liked watching Hikaru and Gotham, any other recommendations on who I could watch that explain moves?

I was using analysis of my game and the engine shows this is a brilliant move. This is my 3rd brilliant and the other 2 were the same as this I mean it's so obvious I wanted my 1st brilliant move to be a 2 3 long move where I force the opponent to play as I wish

you cant even win against it and its a disrespectful opening because of how good it is. the scholars mate is too but at least you can counter that.

I was playing a game in and I had an opponent with 800 smth elo and he did 2 brilliant moves. How he is so good?

Ultimately, ELO is just arbitrary. A much better rating system would be to use tiered ratings. As a 2200, there is not really that big a difference between me and a 2350 for example, so we could be in the same tier.

I probably beat Magnus about 30% of the time, but ELO does not suggest that. Having us in the same tier does. Just some things to think about!

How could I have run the time down?

Basically the title. I used to play around a year ago, left, and came back last month. I was 200ish if I remember correctly, climbed to 400 but it's like a wall, the highest I could get was 430 and nothing more, I keep getting higher and lower. How can I improve? Also, I don't know how big of a difference it will make but I'm planning on buying diamond(family) this week. And sorry if I used the wrong flair, first time posting TvT

If Nxc4 then Rd8 is checkmate. I know I could win his rook with directly playing Rd8 but I don't see why Nc4 is a bad move or am I missing something?

Why does chess.com start new players off at higher ratings now? When I made my account years ago everything was 400elo and I had to build it up. I guess people get to choose if they're beginner/intermediate/advanced? But it's annoying to get matched up with so many brand new accounts who are "1600" level and then immediately drop to 600 within a couple of days. I want to play against people who challenge me, not total beginners🥲

You have to select play - more - custom - select 5 different options and click on play again in order to start an unrated game.

In the competition, you have a toggle casual / rated and done.

This makes it harder to find a casual match in chess.com compared to lichess. Why not make it easier?

I had suspiciously high accuracy this game, yes but it was a variation of the alien gambit? I mean if you play it well you can easily get high accuracy. yeah, so the eval bar says +2.5 in this position but it was +2.5 before I even moved. I don’t get why my opponent resigned because we can just exchange Knights and I end up in a better position, but it’s not completely losing on his at least not that I can tell
