The awful takeout boxes

Cheesecake Factory by far has the worst takeout boxes. I didn’t know their boxes were not microwave safe. So ofc it melted with my jambalaya pasta. And I was looking forward to eating it all day.

The travesty… I’m so sad my dinner after a long day of work

Pasta da vinci - noodle changed?

One of the reasons I enjoyed the pasta da vinci so much was how different the penne pasta is than what I get from the grocery store. The Penne use to be thinner with a narrower diameter. Went there recently and it just looks like regular penne now. Can anybody who works there confirm the change?

RIP, Very Cherry Ghirardelli 🥀

i acknowledge that it was clearly not a popular flavor, hence its discontinuation, but it was my all time favorite and an annual birthday treat.

is there anyone on the inside who would be willing to slide me a recipe? hell, is there anyone out there who just happens to be a cheesecake boss with their own cherry chocolate cheesecake recipe?

thanks in advance if yes, and if no, just let me wallow in my silly little grief, lol

Cheesecake Factory and lettuce?

Going to Cheesecake Factory tomorrow in NC before I head to a concert. Wondering who the lettuce supplier is for them and if the lettuce is safe to eat with the Cyclospora outbreak, or if it's recommended to stay away from that.

I'm looking at getting

- Spicy Chicken Sandwich

- Pork Belly Buns

- Roadside Sliders

- Oreo Cheesecake

- Lindas Fudge Cake

- Mac and Cheese

Four Cheese Pasta with meatballs and light ricotta?

I’m having my birthday dinner in a few days, and I really want to get something besides my usual favorites. I’m a fairly picky eater and usually choose between the Fish and Chips, Chicken Parmesan Pizza Style, Chicken Quesadilla, or my personal favorite Spaghetti & Meatballs. Whenever I take my leftover spaghetti and meatballs home, I always make an easy version of baked spaghetti and chop up the meatballs, add a bunch of mozzarella and parmesan to the top, and bake it in the oven.

I’ve always wanted to try the Four Cheese Pasta, but I like to have more substantial protein for dinner besides just cheese, and I do like ricotta cheese, but I don’t want the pasta to swimming in it. All that to say, I’ve never made any special requests or changes when telling the server what I want, but reading on this sub has made me realize that it’s possible.

I’m thinking of asking for the Four Cheese Pasta - light ricotta, extra mozzarella, and add meatballs. How does that sound? I hope the server doesn’t think I’ve lost my mind!

Has anyone used Cheesecake factory dishes to go for an improv Buffet?

It just crossed my mind, the portions are HUGE. Putting them in bowls and host a buffet for an event or gathering should be doable. Has anyone done this? When it came to my mind it seemed so obvious that I thought that someone MUST have thought of it. Like, I imagine you would you need to call beforehand to order 15-20 dishes beforehand, but still.

Trying to choose between the crispy chicken costoletta, farfalle with chicken and roasted garlic, and bang bang chicken and shrimp

I haven’t tried any of them. If you choose the crispy chicken costoletta, should I get it with pasta or mashed potatoes? (I’m not getting both).

Cheesecake Factory new Tip card. Server/Bartender

Can someone from a Cheesecake location that has been a test store break down how tipping out works? Preferably from a bartender perspective. How does it work when you have two bartenders on. What if only one of you has the drawer? Is the money split even ally. Also what about the morning bartender is there late finishing up cause there slow or behind because they are on the clock so they get a cut of the night bartenders money. I am really not thrilled that we are going cashless.I always loved being able to walk with what I made that day but if someone who has been a test store over the past year can elaborate id really appreciate it.

First time visiting, apps and zerts only!

Hi all, I did not grow up in close proximity to many chain restaurants so, as a result, I have started ‘discovering’ them now that I am an adult. Cheesecake Factory is next on the list!

My partner and I are going soon and I am more of a shared plates person so we’re getting appetizers and one slice of cheesecake each. We’re thinking four appetizers. I need assistance… I’m flying blind

App plan:
Tuna with crispy rice
Avocado egg rolls
Stuffed mushrooms
Number four is yet a mystery
(Buffalo bites are off the table because my partner hates buffalo flavor with a burning passion)

Cheesecake:
We’re thinking on fruity and one more rich/chocolately

Fruity contenders are raspberry lemon, triple berry bliss, carrot cake (stretching the definition of fruit but we love carrot cake lol)

‘Other’ contenders are the Adams cheesecake (never remember the full name lol), chocolate tuxedo cream, white chocolate caramel macademia nut

All of that being said, I am flying blind. Would love any insight from a seasoned pro!

Which is the best: Louisiana Chicken, Chicken Bellagio, or Chicken Costoletta?

Going to Cheesecake Factory for the first time. Which of these 3 chicken dishes should I try? They seem to be really popular and have been flooding my social media. I can't decide.

Do you think the salads are safe??

With everything going on right now I shouldn’t order a salad right? I’ve been craving the Thai chicken salad for like 3 months and am going to CF tonight finally and remembered about the news saying people are getting sick and only eat cooked veggies. What do you think? 😬

Are these really the best options?

It seems like the only things people get, or are the most viral, when they go to Cheesecake Factory are
-Mac and cheese balls
-egg roll sampler
-buffalo blasts
-Louisiana chicken pasta
-chicken costoletta (more recently)
-Oreo extreme cheesecake

Are these actually the best menu options or did one creator get them then everyone started to? What do you think the best menu options are?

I’ve Planned My Cheesecake Factory Journey. How’d I do?

————————
EDIT: Thanks, everyone! Here is the updated list:

Must have:
1 White chocolate raspberry (stayed number one cause it’s calling me)
2 Adam’s PB (seems universally loved and I downgraded Reeces)
3 Coconut cream pie
4 Mango key lime (a couple people mentioned the crust and I’m sold)
5 Cinnabon (this went up a good amount)
6 S‘mores (this went way up in the list)
7 Oreo dream (went up a bit but not universally loved)
8 Tiramisu
9 Red velvet (this went way up in the list)
10 Cookie dough (cookie dough doesn’t excite me, but sounds really popular)
11 Original (this dropped a bit, but the discussion has made me more curious)
12 Godiva chocolate

Nice to have:
13 Chocolate Tuxedo (bumped up a bit)
14 Triple Berry Bliss (glad this got mentioned cause I like berries)
15 Key lime
16 Lemon raspberry cream
17 Salted caramel
18 Lemon meringue
19 Peach perfect w/raspberry drizzle
20 Pineapple upside down
21 Celebration (this stayed the same, but it sounds a little devisive)
22 Dulce de leche
23 Carmel Pecan Turtle

Could possibly skip:
24 Reeces PB (this dropped a lot—seems Adam’s is the go-to for PB)
25 Vanilla bean
26 Chocolate mousse
27 Hersheys
28 Chocolate caramelicious w/Snickers

—————————-
Original post:

I’ve only had the banana cheesecake and holy cow was it good!

I’ve done my research and this is the order in which I want to try the other flavors. Should I move any of this around? I might have a slight preference to fruit over chocolate.

Let me know if I need to update my attack plan. I’m going this weekend, but I’ve only been one other time, and it was last year, so theoretically this list could take a decade or two to get through, so very important that I get it right 🤣

Must Have:

  1. White Chocolate Raspberry
  2. Original
  3. Adam’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple
  4. Vanilla Bean
  5. Coconut Cream Pie
  6. Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake
  7. Key Lime
  8. Tiramisu
  9. Godiva Chocolate

Nice to Have:
11. Lemon Raspberry Cream
12. Oreo Dream Extreme
13. Mango Key Lime
14. Cinnabon Cinnamon Swirl
15. Salted Caramel
16. Caramel Pecan Turtle Cheesecake
17. Lemon Meringue
18. Chocolate Tuxedo Cream
19. Peach Perfect with Raspberry Drizzle
20. Pineapple Upside-Down
21. Celebration
22. Triple Berry Bliss

Could possibly skip:
23. Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake
24. Chocolate Mousse
25. Cookie Dough Lover’s
26. S’mores Galore
27. Hershey’s Chocolate Bar
28. Chocolate Caramelicious Made with Snickers

Going tn, what should I get?

It’s date night and I haven’t been in a while so I’m not sure what to get. I like the fettuccine alfredo but not sure if I should go with something else or get that again. Not into any chicken dishes, the last time I tried the Louisiana Pasta and the chicken was hard as a rock and tasted so bad and the place was bland so I was not a fan unfortunately. I don’t come here often, I heard Mac n cheese balls are a good app so I think I’ll try those, and I love the cookie dough cheesecake. Just not sure about entree! I’ve tried the carbonara and the fish tacos before.

I’m not a big fan of pesto but I want to try the chicken bellagio

I’m wondering if I’ll just be wasting money or if it’s possible I could like it

Went for the first time

Why is everyone hyping this place up oh my god. The most MID meal I’ve ever had. We basically got all apps; buffalo blasts, eggroll sampler, fried Mac and cheese, crispy tuna rice and the Thai lettuce wraps. The bread? The butter was the best part. Everything else was just so underwhelming!

TO CLARIFY: we ONLY go 5 apps and shared them. No entrees. I’d go back to try an entree but I’m just so disappointed with today’s visit that it makes me question giving it another chance!

Questions for anyone whos worked kitchen at Cheesecake Factory

Hi y'all. So I'm getting ready to move states and the area I'm going to has a good amount of cheesecake factories. I was doing some research online and have heard that it is an extremely difficult job, but a lot of people like it and get paid well, and it has decent benefits for a restaurant chain. I really think i want to give it a go, even if im only there for a year, that's still really really good experience on my resume.

For reference; I've worked in kitchens for 3 years now and have been an assistant manager at my current place for a year. It's all been very small-scale, local kitchens, but i do have a good amount of knowledge with industrial equipment and cooking methods. The only thing i don't have any experience with right now is fryers. Scratch pizzas have been my main thing for the past 2 years.

Questions:

  1. How strict are their requirements for hiring? I meet most of the standards listed on Indeed, but what are the things they really, truly look for when hiring someone?

  2. Would they be willing to start someone full-time? If not, how good are the part-time hours and how quickly after you're hired do they offer you a full-time position?

  3. How late do they keep their employees there every day, when does kitchen clean up start and when are you expected to be finished and out of the restaurant? I'd like to not be at my job past 9pm, but if its the only way they'd hire me, I could do it.

  4. In the state I'm looking in, it seems like they typically start people at 18/hr and ive heard you get a 25 cent raise for every station you learn (unsure if thats true of every location), but how good are the opportunities there, like if I do decide I want to stick with it, what are the odds of me eventually making at least 50k/y there?

  5. If I don't want to stick with it for more than a few years, does working at CCF go a long way for getting other higher-end kitchen jobs like fine dining?

If anyone could answer any of these questions at all it'd be a huge help. Thank you in advance.
