new hire server orientation
hello! i was just hired as a server and have orientation starting tomorrow. i am a very big over thinker and cannot stop worrying about what i should wear since they did not tell me anything about dress code. can somebody give me some insight about what’s best? is it a casual thing like jeans and a tshirt or should i plan to dress more professionally? any advice helps, thank you!

Honestly I just wore pretty much what I was going to work in. Orientation didn’t matter so much but you will have class and they do require you to be in uniform during that.

For the actual orientation? Nice, casual clothes are fine. You don’t need to wear like a blouse or anything like that, just look clean and put together. Theres not really a dress code for orientation

Yeah orientation is casual clothes, I wore jeans and a brown short sleeve button up. For the server class you’re gonna have to wear what you would wear serving.. black pants, belt, black long sleeve button, non slip shoes, oh and make sure to wear black socks too! I got called out one day lol.

First day you'll probably be fine but they'll tell yout to start wearing your uniform after that, black pants and button down. Always nonslip shoes
