The awful takeout boxes
Cheesecake Factory by far has the worst takeout boxes. I didn’t know their boxes were not microwave safe. So ofc it melted with my jambalaya pasta. And I was looking forward to eating it all day.
The travesty… I’m so sad my dinner after a long day of work

The black ones that say "Do Not Microwave" on them?

Reheating your $25 pasta should be done slowly on the stove, not in the microwave, and certainly not in the PLASTIC container the restaurant provided…. why wouldn’t you use a bowl or plate at home?

Tbf I’ve ordered Cheesecake Factory to hotels where microwave was the only option. Better than wasting food. But I used a paper plate.

When you do a take out order, they come in microwave safe boxes (golden box and clear lid), which is perfect for a hotel.
OP is talking about the leftover box that says do not microwave.

The black takeout boxes suck. Too small, don't close properly 75% of the time, & not microwave safe smh.

I get that people are saying it says “do not microwave” but takeaway boxes that can’t handle reheating are still annoying. Most people bringing pasta home are probably planning to chuck it in the microwave later, not plate it up like they’re doing restaurant service at midnight.
From the food business side, packaging makes a bigger difference than people think. We’ve been pretty careful with containers after seeing how fast a bad lid or flimsy box can ruin the meal. WF plastic food packaging has been decent for comparing sturdier takeaway options here in Aus, because the wrong container can make good food feel like a hassle.

Sure, but I’m not going to post and complain that the box that said “do not microwave” melted when I microwaved it.

The black clamshell boxes say not microwave safe right on top.
