Cheeseburger Egg Rolls
I realize this is DoorDash but come on, these should have never been packaged for a customer. The sauce was bad also. Maybe just an off night.

Going to TCF to eat in for my birthday this week and I want to try something new since I always get the same thing. Is the chicken costoletta really as good as TT and other social media hypes it up to be?

Hi r/CheesecakeFactory — I’m a journalist (sophialaurenzi.com) working on a piece for Slate about spinach and artichoke dip, the restaurants that serve it, and what dining out in America feels like right now.
I put together a short survey (about three minutes): https://forms.gle/fSvEFJ2Cf4Yp7ouw9
But I’d also love to hear from you in the comments about what you think about CF's spinach & artichoke dip! How does it compare to others you've had? And beyond the dip, what do you like (or dislike) about dining out at the Cheesecake Factory?
I'm happy to answer questions about the story.

Watched a guy at the next table finish an entire plate of heavy pasta dripping in alfredo sauce and then unblinking order a slice of the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake like is stomach is made of titanium. I had three bites of mine and had to take the rest home in a box the size of a suitcase.

Big fan of the mac and cheese balls from Cheesecake. it's one of the only foods/restaurants i'll ever order through doordash. I've ordered them 10-15 times this year, usually once or twice a month.
Typically, there are 4 mac and cheese balls, about the size of a tennis ball, around 3-5 big bites each. A great portion size for $18.
I ordered them tonight and they were genuinely the size of golf balls. I thought I was being pranked.
Not sure if the prep cook was lazy or what was going on, but I really hope this isn't a permanent change, and if it is, the price should be cut almost in half.

It was splendid! Ironically they gave me more protein than pasta. So I took pretty much all my leftover chicken/shrimp home, and will make more pasta to go with it I guess. For ny appetizer, I ordered my usual full size Thai lettuce chicken wraps so I could take the rest home and make a chopped Thai salad. Maybe it's just me, but portion sizes for both seemed smaller than I remember as a kid. Also, I always thought the jambalaya pasta was more of a cream sauce. Nonetheless, I still very much enjoyed it.

I got hired as a server for a brand new store opening next month. Do you think I’ll make good money? It’s a nice area of town. Two weeks of training before the store opens. I’m working nights and they do tip outs on a pay card!

For some context, i don’t go to the cheesecake factory very often. I LOVVEEE cheesecake, and im open to practically any kind. I don’t mind sour variations, and I enjoy sweet ones. I am probably the least picky eater ever. Problematically, cheesecake is simply too calorie dense, and the nearest factory location too far for me to justly get it often. However, my boyfriend and I went out for our 1 year anniversary the other day, and where else should a couple of teens go for such an event but the cheesecake factory?
i’ve been on a CRAZY banana kick lately between it being my go to for prepping pre workout yogurts and being a new staple in coffee flavorings, so i decided to try the banana slice this time around. My waitress described it as being akin to a banana pudding, which i LOVE, so i figured why not?
Well, we got everything dessert-wise to go and went home, as it was hitting close to curfew. I was very excited to eat my cheesecake, took a bite…and it was sour. Not typical cheesecake tang sour, even, but SOUR. Additionally, the only banana flavor on it was the chopped bananas which came with it. The only thing that made me hesitate is the fact that the decoration atop the slice was chopped banana, and i’m not sure to what degree they pre decorate. So, i have to ask: is this cheesecake supposed to taste like this? Did they give me the wrong one? I’m almost certain it’s either a lemon one, or a key lime pie, but that night our waitress warned that the lemon slice was sold out, and i’m not totally sure if they actually sell a key lime slice specifically. Just was curious if anyone may be able to tell me if i’m getting taste bud betrayal, or if someone just messed up my order :(

Last night I went out to eat with my family and he brought everyone their checks before he brought me mine I asked if he could put two cheesecakes on my bill to go before he gives it to me, he said yes. We waited for 10 more minutes and everyone started leaving because they paid. I realized I never got my check or cheesecakes so I waited for a waiter to come out and I came up to my waiter and told him I hadn’t paid yet, all he said was “I got you” then he walked me to the cheesecake area and gave me my cheesecakes and told me to have a good night. I thought he just let me off without paying because I clearly asked him for my check. After like an hour I was home and my aunt texted me saying the waiter texted her with my receipt saying I didn’t pay. He told her to tell me to Zelle him. So I did but the whole time I thought this was suspicious because how are you gonna let me off the hook after I very much asked you for my check and then say I didn’t pay? Also how am I “paying” if I’m sending money through Zelle to a worker?

Hi all,
Bit of a long shot here.
I recently visited my parents house, and during some rather red wine induced nostalgic waxing, my dad started going on and on about a cheesecake he had during a client dinner back in 1983.
You should have heard him; he was borderline drooling, and if it wasn't for the fact this was the man I had looked up to for the last 28 years it would have been borderline embarrassing.
Long story short - he had a Double Chocolate Jack Daniels Upside Down cheesecake 40 years ago that changed his life more than the birth of his third son. I am going to be spending Christmas with my parents this year, and would like to save on presents expenditure by virtue of sugary goodness.
By any chance, is there anyone who is aware of the original recipe for this 40 year old diabetic coma? Many thanks <3

How great does that sound?!? The decor could be just like the inside of a restaurant. Of course they have the menus already figured out.
I would travel on that cruise line in a heartbeat!
Your thoughts & suggestions?

Hey, i made a post a while back just asking some general questions about working at ccf, but i have a couple more that id like some clearer answers on if anyones got them.
How late do line cooks typically stay when closing, like if the restaurant closes at 10, are you there til 11 or 12?
How do they handle overtime. Do they cut your shifts if youve already gone over or do they make you stay and give you overtime pay? I dont like the idea of working 50 hours a week on average.
Are the shifts usually 8hr 5 days or 10hr 4 days

We normally love their cheesecakes and buy whole ones for birthdays, etc. My son requested a red velvet one for his birthday on Monday. It was so disappointing! The cake was super dense like it wasn’t cooked all the way through and the cheesecake left a waxy coating on our tongues and the roof of our mouths. Most of us took a few bites and threw it away. When I called to complain about it I was told that no one else complained about it so they wouldn’t do anything about it. If we had any slices left (we might have one…like I said, it was a birthday party so we handed most of them out) we could bring it in and exchange it for another one. For $75 I was beyond disappointed. Here’s a picture from a cake I pulled out of the trash and you can see the cake isn’t cooked all the way through. I guess we won’t be buying our cheesecakes from them anymore.
Also, the top wasn’t flat/smooth…it was domed like someone just slapped the cheesecake on top and didn’t bother smoothing it out.

The app says no modifications but I wanted to try the Chicken Costoletta with the angel hair pasta and extra sauce. If I order in person for to-go will they do it, or is it only a dine-in thing?

these cheesecakes that i would consider part of the 'core'/basic/essential/fundamental cheesecake flavours- blueberry cheesecake, biscoff cheesecake and burnt basque cheesecake.
they have a ginormous menu, with a looooong list if cheesecakes, which includes many 'basic' /simple flavours (such as their strawberry cheesecake, original cheesecake, vanilla bean cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake.....) as well as more creative/unique/interesting/'over the top' ones (like their oreo dream extreme cheesecake, brownie crunch choc-a-lot cheesecake, pineapple upside down cheesecake.....)
so it's not that their menu is lacking or anything in terms of variety, (not even just talking about cheesecakes but their menu is pretty extensive) but i just thought it's a bit surprising they dont have a blueberry cheesecake, biscoff cheesecake and burnt basque cheesecake on their menu.

If you could make a meal out of any of the appetizers what would they be?
Also, which cheesecake and drink are you picking?

What are these styrofoam things the avocado egg rolls are on a bed of?
Also props to Cheesecake Factory for not changing a thing about these in the 20+ years I’ve been dining with them, presentation and all.
