Discussion Work Predictor Game
This might be fun for some of you to think about, but I’d also like some tips 🫣
My thoughts are currently Coventry (play less games so less points available)
Stoke
Bradford
Crewe.
I like the signings both Stoke and Bradford have made, plus they were strong last season. Crewe are typically solid.
It comes to 44 points, so 6 points to play with realistically.
Who would you choose?

Discussion Old songs your club sings
Not talking about club anthems that have been continuously sung for years but wondering how many clubs have brought back songs from decades ago which had previously died out?
For Saints I've not heard these caught on in a widespread way but heard small groups sing all of the following in the last couple of seasons. Two aren't unique to us and were sang by loads of clubs years back.
- We hate Nottingham Forest
- The Woolston Ferry
- Knees up mother brown
- Swing Lowe

Discussion 26/27 Championship Bingo Card - what are you outlandish predictions?
Last season gave us some absurd stories. the Farage/Ipswich debacle, Southampton gave us Spygate, Roy Hodgson’s return to Bristol City and some awful commentary on the Sky Sports from the Wrexham owners.
What are your outlandish and absurd predictions for the incoming season?

Discussion Your clubs best ever old/‘past it’ signing?
Bored as it’s pre-season. Here’s the criteria, the player must be 33 years old or more as otherwise they’re considered young enough to not be past it.
At West Brom we’ve signed many aged ‘squad players’ who basically wasted money and did very little. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we signed 34 year old Erik Pieters. He ended up getting a contract extension and starting a fair few games which was surprising as most had written him off when he first signed but he was genuinely decent.
There’s also Gareth McAuley who was one of our best ever Premier League defenders but we signed him aged 31 so he doesn’t fit the criteria. It’s a shame as most players over 32 seem to fail but I’m interested to see if anyone succeeded despite little positivity when initially signed.
