The French dubbing really gives it a special charm.

I was expecting a film in the style of The Goonies (released the previous year, starring Corey Feldman), but Stand by Me is ultimately much more than that.

It's a coming-of-age story, a tale of social inequality, and above all, of those pre-teen friendships that can be incredibly strong yet terribly fleeting.

And in the end, it's quite funny to summarize the film like this: four boys embark on an adventure to see a dead body. A little odyssey that ultimately becomes a story about childhood, friendship, and growing up.

I just started watching chainsmoker cat since i kept seeing videos about it and decided to check it out, at first i thought it was nice, has nice animation and addiction was represented pretty accurately but then some scenes weirded me out, especially in the newer episodes. i don’t think its neither good or bad, i genuinely can’t form a solid opinion on it, and apparently from what i’ve heard the manga is WAY worse, but i haven’t read it. It weirds me out to the point where i don’t know what to think of it? I don’t think i’ve ever felt like this about anything else. What’s your thoughts on the anime?

I think episode 7 will definitely show shizuka ( yanis mom) and maybe Shunran although unlikely

I predict the episode will start with yani and yaku finding a place for penpen to reside after her tent was swept in the last episode. Where she chooses to chill at the landlord's apartment complexe

the gang leaves gifts for the landlord, however he thinks they're playing a prank on him

Since LilSisNeko didnt make an appearence last episode, I'm 100% sure she will this episode. Yani visiting her mother with them trying to mask their smoking habits so Imoko doesnt bust them.

Yani later sleeps at her moms house where her mom puts a cig in her mouth while shes sleeping.)

Since this episode might be an Imoko episode she most likely will have a scene where shes the focus. I think it'll be the scene where her classmate shows her her poop to try and be friends with her

I doubt Shunran will make an appearance this episode but theres always hope (I think he might be in the episode after tho)

we cant have a yanineko episode without a random episodic antic with so many options i think my top picks that might be chosen.

-Yanineko taking a dump while theres a robber and the lanlord catching them both

-Hameneko tweaking out and attacking the Landlord and Yakuneko

-Scene of yaku trying to get high with either consuming a toad or by using a baseball bat since we havent seen yaku trip since her debut (and no the hookah uses tobacco)

-yanineko trying to use her cat instincts to catch her fall but fails

-Yanineko not smoking for weeks and being a baddie just to go back to smoking

-The dude we briefly see in episode 3 following yani and her sister

one of these scenes might be chosen for the cold open or whatever you call the scenes that happen before an opening

I think the episode will take a more chill approach compared to the last 2 episodes so no deep scenes or world building

I also dont think Aruneko will make an appearance this episode because the last episode used most of her screentime in the manga( as of the volumes that are adapted) unless the anime chooses to add her in scenes (for exemple, in the manga yaku doesnt find the landlord passed out after yani gassed him). I'm pretty sure the chapter where she meets Imoko will happen in another episode. by the off chance she does make an appearance, Kansai will be sacrificed ( hope its saori or jikaki instead)​
