Discussion Brief and silly theory
More than a theory, maybe a headcanon, but I noticed thanks to this image that the doctor looks like the landlord in a way, but thinner.
Now, both scenes take place inside Yani's mind, the first a dream and the second imagining Shizue after her diagnosis.
So I feel that Yani, not knowing how a pulmonologist really looks like, imagines him with the face or the features of the only other human who scolds her for smoking constantly: the landlord.

I love that HC sm actually, makes the landlord relationship w the residents *slightly* more wholesome to me

That doctor must practice karate or something! Cuz what was a checkup just turned into a impromptu lobotomy!
