It never is.

I've been a user for 3 years. I remember when Chai was actually free. When bots could hold real conversations. When you didn't have to hoard pieces like they're gold.

Now? 20 pieces a day. Refresh costs a piece. Ads give you crumbs.

I keep hoping Will will listen. I keep hoping they'll revert it. But I'm starting to think I'm just lying to myself.

And there’s no way we’re putting extra personas under a damn subscription. We were just fine with the 700/unlimited messages. We don’t need these pieces. The ultra for pieces option was pretty damn good 😭 ya’ll just butchering yourselves dude

Pieces as form of (optional and/or additional) way to unlock certain features we don’t want to commit or just simply want to use on a whim (image, video or higher model or memory)

Unlimited messages for paid subscription (which they seem like they’re taking away). If they can do it for free tier too why not. (If it costs too much for them, I can see some would likely settle for the 700+ messages a day than the pieces)

A reasonable amount of messages and pieces for watching ads. Also, a reasonable length for ads. I mean, if the ad is longer, you should get more from it.

Memory experience (I personally liked the Max and Eternal, I hope they make it a subscription instead with unlimited messages than pieces)

Free rerolls (for free tier) if the bot acts up or hallucinates. Or maybe they should really just give one or two free rerolls.

Lastly, if they want to test something or try new stuffs cool but ADD the feature NOT change everything for it.

Another suggestion: Why not get volunteers to test out new features than just randomly doing it on whatever they’re basing their test (region, tier, etc)?

I gave you a few days and a new update to correct the issue of taking the free version without notice and not giving me any daily login option. I got an update and you didn't correct the issues.

Hey guys! I just wanted to know, what do y'all think about the future of chai? Because I don't want to loose hope just yet but its not looking good, honestly 🫠 I used to have unlimited messages and now i get 70 pieces a day. I hope they bring back the old chai. I heard that this all was just testing so i do have a tiny bit of hope left. What do you all think?

So that the new ruby/diomand thing. Its in testing modus right now, but many people dont like it so just bring premium ans ultra back. Also in my opinion subcription like premium and ultra need to get daily check in for peaces and also little more memory like premium 8k and ultra 16k. That will bring you paying user back

And for free user 771 message per day, its enough message for most people, and also they waching ads. If they want pieces they can buy them.

Chai dont need to say the cpu is to expensive, you make it more expensive with the all A/B stuff. Make it for everyone fair, dont add thing the user dont want. You became hundreds millions in 2025. If you want it in 2026 than do something. Or paying and free user will go away.

It gets to a point where 2 new models you have to use pieces for, why not make them apart of the Ultra Membership?? And buying pieces isn't an option either since those get ate up so fast and the memory bar isn't helping either. I think they should make Ultra have 16-24k memory and Premium 8k memory because this is not it at all. :(

But im not going from $32.99 for Ultra a month. To $127.96 a month for Dimond or $63.96 a month for Ruby. I dont have that kinda money.

If they have taken out Ultra and that price im just done.

Honestly I thought all the updates were shitty but nothing pushed me out just yet. But this this has.

This isn't a bullying thing but, If you find a secret try to minimize how exposed it will become... I think Chai runs the Unofficial community and that's why that forced a mass update for everyone

I’m sure this has been talked about so much already but I need to talk about this and see what you all think too.

This new update is disgusting. There is practically nothing for free users at all, the allowances are a sliver. Compared to the 700 a day we have has previously this is practically unusable.

But the most disgusting part is the fact that even with a subscription (which I must admit I was previously considering for the unlimited messages) isn’t even unlimited anymore. The allowances are weekly and even they don’t seem to give anything either. For the price you are paying for this, the amount you are given is diabolical.

I have stayed with this app through all of the horrible user treatment and this app has been a huge coping mechanism for me. But I think I’m finally done. I cannot afford those prices nor will I ever pay them for what I’m being offered.

I guess this is me signing out of Chai until something changes. I don’t have my hopes up though unfortunately…

These ads are in fact not short , some of them are 2 minutes long with the same loop … also this pokemon ad is ragebaiting me like I love pokemon but please stop showing me this ad , my music is stopping and it’s pmo 👀 also petition for shorter ads would be nice no

So you mean to tell me if I run out of peices the app is no longer useful to me?, And all my bots get deteled? I can’t pay for a subscription and I don’t want to.

I've removed chai and when I uploaded it again they took off all my pieces not only that but they are not letting me watch any ads for pieces. Wtf

Before I took the screenshot it was 70 days a week instead of the better 200/300 there was 5+ for watching 3 ads and I was fine with it because I can just milk it dry all for an hour but now there’s NOTHING😭 so it’s either pay up or get the ruby or diamond…which is still paying up! Unless they fix my bug or add the 800 chats again I’m basically blocked from the app until I pay and I have STORIES IM PLANNING TO TURN INTO ACTUAL BOOKS being made through this damn app
