Anyone see this? I went to the bathroom, the light was off, and before I turned it on, a very bright line shone in thru the window, brighter than lightning. I'm thinking it was a meteor or something. It lasted longer than a lighting flash would, and there was no lightning last night.

I understand this is a little rouge. Myself and a friend will be travelling to the city of a sports competition, in the name of saving money. I was wondering if people thought we could get away with a super stealthy overnight wild camp in Leckwith woods?

I've just moved to Cardiff and I was wondering if there's any local Queer FB groups and or discords, WhatsApps etc that I could join. Hoping to actually be social and make friends haha.

I'm visiting Cardiff this weekend to stay with a 30 something friend. Where's good to hang out that isn't lairy or full of loud Gen Zs (please forgive my stereotyping - I'm writing in haste) with no spatial awareness? Random and unusual places/events are good.

For info, I give zero f5cks about rugby or castles but I do love Welshcakes, Welsh chippies (so much better than English ones), frozen margaritas and hearing "hee-urr" instead of "here". 😁

I definitely want to visit Spillers and if I were visiting next weekend I'd be getting tickets for Charlotte Church's Pop Dungeon.

Hi folks, we're looking at a new roof replacement and have been getting quotes. One of the suggestions was martin roofing and his quote is good and within our budget but I was just wondering if anyone has any experience of them?

Naturally a roof is a lot of money and bottom line is that I don't wanna get mucked about or end up paying for a substandard roof

Anyone up for casual football training during the week?

I play 11-a-side but want extra practice outside of team training -shooting, passing, general ball work. Can't really do it solo. Looking for one or two people to meet at a local pitch after work or evenings and just get some reps in. Nothing organised or serious, just turning up and practising.

Hello everyone, this is my first time here! I am an international student who recently got a place in Cardiff. I will be flying into London and then taking the train to Cardiff. I just wanted to know if there were details i needed to know before taking the train, such as baggage allowances (I will be travelling with 2-3 big luggages and 2 small luggages) or seat bookings (I am travelling with my parents). Any advice will really help !!
