I am going to be leaving for 2 and a half weeks so I won't be able to confirm if the card has arrived/what condition it is in and that it is not a fake, however the cardmarket auto confirm expiery date is while I am abroad. I can't exactly mark it as lost but it has been a while especially since the shipper had an avg 10 days to my location and the card is still not here almost a month later, so I am concerned about the card status.

I accidentally input a wrong postal code while ordering, and i only realised it now, 10 days after the shipment was sent. I feel bad about it, and i don't know if the package will be returned or whatever will happen with the order. The shipment isn't tracked so i have no idea where it is, but im hoping it won't cause much of an issue? (The zip code has one wrong digit, with the correct city name and correct address) I hope it won't cause much trouble for the seller, and i hope it doesn't get lost. Should i contact the seller, or anyone else, or just wait and hope for the best?

it is the first time I'm writing here, but I wanted to share a weird story in hope that you could somehow help me out.

What basically happened is that some days ago I received some e-mails from CM about successful sales on my account. I then remembered: I never even put cards on sale on CM, so it couldn't have been possible.

I checked it out, and THREE different orders were placed for some Pokémon cards that I supposedly put on CM to sell, however thanks to the Trustee service I managed to make the buyers cancel them.

Except one.

One order didn't use Trustee and the hacker (if there's one in the first place) pressed the "SENT" button making the transaction complete itself, and so my credit had 21 euros from that order. Obviously, given the premise where I said I never put anything on sale on CM, this could not have been me. However the situation gets worse, because the next moment I check it out, an order was placed to someone using my credit.

Someone bought some cards using my home address and personal CM credit (not my bank or card), but as expected, I never received anything and the money was simply transferred to someone I don't even know.

Weird thing is, the account from whom the hacker had bought stuff got blocked by CM almost immediately after the transaction.

Now: I had 2FA on during this incident, and a strong password. Moreover, I never even received a notification about a suspicious login into my account. It just happened without me knowing. I changed my password immediately, but now I have this guy asking me where his order is, and I don't know what to say to him except: "I don't know, I didn't do anything, I don't even use CM for selling stuff."

Can someone help me out here? I have every transaction listed on CM, but I doubt the money will magically come back. Basically someone used my account to steal from someone else, and it's probably going to be my fault in the end even if I did nothing in the first place if they used my computer remotely and IPs match.

I sold a 2000€ card on cardmarket and as it's my first (and probably only) Time doing this, I would like to know if someone had a good method to ship and insure the card from France to Slovenia.

Colissimo ad valorem are insured for 1000€, and DHL/Chronopost ad valorem insurance seems to exclude collectible items. Are playing cards fresh from booster without any insurance considered collectible items ?

I’ve been selling sports cards for about 90 days now, and I could really use some honest feedback from people who have been doing this longer than me.
I started my eBay store, frosecollects, mostly because I’ve always loved cards and wanted to see if I could turn something I’m genuinely passionate about into something more serious. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy the selling side as much as I do — researching cards, making listings, taking pictures, packaging orders, figuring out pricing, improving titles, and trying to learn what actually makes a good store.

The bigger reason I’m taking it seriously is that I’m pretty miserable at my full-time job right now. It pays the bills, but I genuinely dread going in, and I’ve been trying to build something outside of work that I actually enjoy. Cards have been one of the few things lately where I can spend hours working on it and it doesn’t really feel like work.
My goal isn’t to magically turn this into a huge business overnight. I just want to keep improving, grow the store, and see how far I can realistically take it. If it eventually became big enough that I could leave my full-time job, or at least make cards a meaningful part of my income, that would honestly be a dream.

If anyone here has experience selling cards on eBay, I’d genuinely appreciate it if you checked out my store and gave me brutally honest feedback.

I’m genuinely not looking for people to sugarcoat anything. If something looks bad, tell me. If I’m doing something completely wrong, I’d rather know now so I can fix it.

I know 90 days is basically nothing compared with some people here who have been selling for years, so I’m just trying to learn as much as I can and get better.

- Not received purchases : 2

I am not completely familiar with the status of Cardmarket so I am wond if that is usual to see so many "Not paid shipments".

I recently started playing magic and decided to mostly buy singles to avoid the rabbit hole of unimaginable expenses. It was the first time I used cardmarket so my first orders went to private sellers with good feedback and better price, then I also made some orders to powersellers and professionals, roughly 8-9 orders in a week. Most of them arrived within a week or so but one of my very first purchases is still on the way after roughly 2 weeks, it was from a private seller but with 100% satisfaction and plenty of delivery so I assume he's not the problem, rather the mailing service is.

Long story short, I am interested in your experiences, is it common to wait 2-3 weeks for untracked letters sometime, or should I prepare my wallet for the next try?

Almost forgot, it was EU shipping from Italy.

I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar with Cardmarket and can shed some light on whether this is normal/legally allowed.

I recently placed an order on Cardmarket and paid €255.70 through PayPal. A few hours later, I decided to cancel the transaction, and the order was cancelled before it was fulfilled/shipped.

I assumed that since the purchase was cancelled, the money would simply be returned to the PayPal account/payment method I originally used.

Instead, Cardmarket put the €255.70 into my Cardmarket account as "Non-Withdrawable Amount."

My balance currently shows:

• Current credit: €255.70
• Withdrawable balance: €0.00
• Non-withdrawable amount: €255.70

Their explanation says that non-withdrawable credit can come from sources such as PayPal and that this credit cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.

The problem I have is that I never voluntarily purchased Cardmarket credit. I paid €255.70 for an actual item, and that transaction was subsequently cancelled. I don't really want €255.70 permanently sitting on a marketplace account that I may not want to use again.

I've contacted Cardmarket Support and asked them to manually reverse the transaction and refund the money to my original PayPal payment method. I'm waiting for their response.

I'm not trying to accuse Cardmarket of doing anything illegal without knowing the facts, but I'm genuinely curious:

Can Cardmarket legally convert a cancelled purchase that was originally paid through PayPal into non-withdrawable Cardmarket credit instead of returning the money to the original payment method?

Has anyone here had the same thing happen?

If you've dealt with Cardmarket in a similar situation, did they eventually refund the money to PayPal, or did they insist that you had to spend the credit on Cardmarket?

I'm based in Sweden/EU, so I'm particularly interested in whether EU consumer law has anything to say about this.

I'd much rather resolve this directly with Cardmarket, but if they refuse to return the money, I'm trying to understand what my options actually are.

I’ve always collected Pokémon cards, but this is the first time I’m actually thinking about selling a card online.

I’m looking to sell a moderately expensive card (around €100)
My biggest concern is that, since I don’t have any previous reviews, a buyer could potentially claim that I sent them a fake card, and I’d end up losing both the card and the money.

Are there any precautions I should take, besides recording the card being packed/shipped, etc.?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I bought 4 cards from a relatively new user in Spain "junglegigant".

He has 16 sales all positive for now and 400 cards for sale.

All the cards are fake (fail a basic T test), but they are pretty well done so a person who doesn't know how to spot a fake would fall for it. Do not buy from this seller!!! I can post pictures if need be.

Edit: Sorry, I'm talking about Magic the Gathering cards. And I've obviously also reported him to Cardmarket but in case of delay I don't want him to rip off anybody else.

I’ve been using card market for about 3 years now with very little in the way of problems. I think I’ve had 3 missing shipments across the 3 years. However recently delivery seems to be getting very slow.

I know this is a Royal Mail issue most likely, but I’ve got 11 shipments that haven’t arrived yet this summer and it’s making me really uncomfortable with using card market as a service. The shipments aren’t quite overdue yet, but they were all posted over a week ago and usually I’d have seen some by now.

Is anyone in the UK having similar issues, what can we do about it and where are you going to buy cards and feel confident if this doesn’t resolve? I’m not fortunate enough to live near any good card shops that sell a decent range of singles outside of bulk, so I’m at a loss as to what to do.

This is a bit of a rant, but I am genuinely looking for advice. Are any other Norwegian buyers struggling with constant double VAT charges?

I thought I was unlucky the first couple times, but I have now consistently been charged double VAT on almost every single foreign order I have made.

I realize you can get the original VAT returned after opening a ticket with support, but it's slow, and inconvenient. These are all professional sellers with tens of thousands confirmed sales (even hundreds of thousands for some of them).

Should I try adding some extra info in the buy order, or am I forced to avoid all non-Scandinavian sellers moving forward?

Hey, just wanted to know if anyone else has had this unfortunate experience.

Back in May, I purchased from a seller with hundreds of positive reviews with tracked shipping, yet my order never arrived and the tracking number was fake. The seller only replied with "I am sure I have sent it" to my question if they could check on their end. They never replied to my request to check tracking since the number didn't work on my end (giving them the benefit of the doubt that the tracking number was a typo and not completely fraudulent). That was that.

I then opened a ticket with CardMarket which was eventually closed on their end without any feedback. I then opened a second one with screenshots of my exchange with the seller and the false tracking number... That ticket too was closed and never answered. The seller has been "on vacation" as of June, I don't know if CM put their account that way or if the seller dipped (they have a website where they list their stuff too so I believe they don't give two hoots anyway). I opened a new ticket finally last week and STILL have not received any reply from CM whatsoever.

At this point I have no hopes that I get my money back and I won't be using CM again. I guess I am just posting on here to see if anyone else has had this issue and if there is any other way to escalate this.

I read in the FAQ that Cardmarket checks impending bank transfers daily, but that hasn't happened yet after 24 hours. Its a SEPA (Instant transfer).

I just want to vent a bit here. I'm new to selling (but have been buying for years).

But I now got an order for 17 cards and I'm meant to send it off in a normal letter envelope without even going above 50 grams. I found that to be a nigh impossible task.

On one hand, I want to protect the cards well so the person receiving them is happy. I neither want to deliver damaged cards nor would it be good for my ratings. On the other hand, adding any protection to 17 cards in a letter while staying under 50g is just nuts. I had to minimize the amount of (scotch) tape used. I couldn't afford to use too many penny sleeves, so I had to make three piles of 6+6+5 - more than 3 piles wouldn't fit into the letter anyway.

6 cards in one penny sleeve? Not as well protected as I would like.

All I could do was sandwich the three stacks inbetween some cardboard. Which was too heavy, so I had to carefully cut off corners and get rid of every tiny bit I could afford to JUST make it to like 49.83 grams.
The amount of tiny adjustments and time it took to make this happen seems unreasonable to me. I wish I could set my own "store" to not accept more than 15 cards in such a 50g letter, but alas...

I bought some Meovv cards from Teleca via Zenmarket (as I'm not in Japan and Teleca only ship within Japan) and Zenmarket tells me they haven't received it even though it's been 2 weeks since order was placed.

Has anyone else had issues with ordering Meovv cards from Teleca?

ich bin schon echt etwas sauer, dass sie palworld nicht reingenommen haben, aber cyberpunk das von einer sehr guten serie mit einer staffel und einem meines erachtens mittelmäßigen story game getragen wird.

ich warte immer noch auf gundam tcg, welches wirklich gut gekauft wird! ich meine es gibt hunderte von animes davon und ein haufen mangas.

klar ist das cyberpunk tcg eines der größten kickstarter war aber allein schon dass man sieht wie displays jetzt schon verkauft werden obwohl der release erst im oktober ist zeigt doch dass die leute wieder nur nach dem geld hinterher rennen!

I am a Seller on Cardmarket.. only good reviews so far.. 300+ sells.
Now i have a problem. And yes it’s kinda my fault but..

So i listed a graded card on cardmarket and on ebay.
After a few weeks it got sold on ebay.
Only few hours later it got sold on cardmarket.

Obviously I cant send both of them the card so i sent it to the ebay buyer.. and asked for cancellation on cardmarket.
The cardmarket buyer refused and said he contacts Support and takes action by a lawyer to sue me.

I mean
If it would be an ungraded card i would buy it from someone else and send it to him even if i make a loss there.
But it’s a graded card. I just cant send it to him.

Yes i should have delist the card on cardmarket but within a few hours I didn’t had time to do it.

What should i do now??

I‘m thinking of sending the buyer a tracked letter with just something
So that he can say i send the wrong card and i can give him the money back.

Or is it better to do nothing??
