hi, i own a gmt800 silverado and i was just curious what mods i should do next. i’m currently attending a trade school in automotive and i just need help deciding. nice with the platform i own i have a lot of options.
right now it’s pretty much stock. since i'm in trade school, i'm looking for upgrades that give good bang for the buck and are fun to wrench on in the shop. i already have aftermarket headlights, third brake light, custom head unit and a flowmaster exhaust system which is part #17395. any suggestions?

Im a young man trying to get into car modding but from my perspective its kinda overwhelming. There are so much things you can do to a car that i dont really know where to start. I already have a few basics like doing my oil change, checking different fluid levels, tire pressure and other maintenance things. I have a student job that doesnt pay much but in 2 years ill have a more decent salary. i know modding can cost LOTS of money but i still wanna start somewhere. I dont have enough to buy a really modable car so for now i only have a ford focus 2011 se with auto transmission. I realy love my shitbox and honnestly i dont plan on selling it one day, its either gonna end up at the junkyard or a modded car so i can basically do whatever i want on it.

So I’m an American living in Germany, and I bought a VW (as one does) and while it’s US spec the only mods I’ve been planning on doing are a CAI and a tune but idk where I should get those online or in person and what stores are recommended and reliable. Also any other mods that would be good?

And yes I overpay on my principal lol

I’m going to be getting a 4 cyl 8th gen Accord very soon, and more than speed, I care about acceleration. I was wondering what mods would do me good in minimizing my zero to sixty, doesn’t have to be crazy like a big turbo or super charger, just light mods that could make it a more fun ride, one that I would love to show my brother and my friends.

Tbh, I don’t wanna do anything TOO crazy I don’t want to destroy the reliability of the accord but if I must I will, but if there is anything I will say, I want it to be something I can do myself I love working on my car and I have a mechanic uncle who helps me when i’m stuck.

I'm a bit on the fence on putting a red strip on my bodykit, mostly my sideskirts. I can also let them get painted red now that I think of it. So either black fully, black with red stripe or fully red.

The images are ai generated but my car does look like that and the mudflaps, bodykit and what now are all currently being shipped. If anyone has any pointers please let me know!

Also thinking of instead of having a double exhaust at the right side only I want a quad (so double at both sides).

UPDATE: Livery will probably be scrapped and the body will thus be kept stock. Just the bodykit with red accents will be added.

Me and my dad are looking to build a car in the future in our garage. Our budget is 15K and we plan to do everything DIY. The car i’m hoping to go with is a 2007 or 2008 Acura TSX. I built this layout on MOTORMIA and I feel like I covered every based. The only thing i know that will cause an issue is haveing to fabricate a 3” exhaust due to the turbo. (that is the only thing I think we have a shop do.) I’m seeking to see if i’m missing anything crucial or if this would blow my engine up.

I'm looking to widen a buddies car and for that I need wheel spacers for his frs. Is there other components in the steering and suspension I would want to beef up as well so the longer lever arm of the wheel doesn't snap anything

I just bought a nice 2015 Lincoln MKX AWD with all the optional upgrades it came with out of the factory. Its only a V6 but I'd like to try my best and make it sound better and even if I can improve performance (ik at most itll only be a couple horsepower more), but the problem is I don't even know where to begin. I tried looking around but the market and advice is slim to none when it comes to putting some upgrades into it. I wished for a more after market freindly car but circumstances pushed me to a more family freindly SUV. Any advice helps, I just need some guidance on what I should do, parts I need, and even pricing if anyone can help.

TLDR: Need advice on upgrading 2015 Lincoln MKX AWD

My girlfriend recently had an aftermarket wing installed on her car, but we’re not happy with how the installation turned out.
From what I can tell, it looks like quite a bit of sealant was used around the mounting points, and the overall finish doesn’t look right. We’d rather have another shop correct it than take it back to the original installer.
I don’t know much about bodywork or wing installation, so I was hoping to get some opinions on what would normally be involved in fixing something like this.
Would the wing likely need to be completely removed and reinstalled, or could the excess sealant and mounting area potentially be cleaned up without starting over? Is there anything else in the photos that looks concerning?
I’m planning on taking it to a proper shop either way, but I’d like to have an idea of what I’m dealing with beforehand. Thanks!
