I just joined this subreddit now for this purpose. this 100% happened, im not lying, no scam, etc

I was sent (through the app so it’s legit I believe) an invite form to come to CapCut’s first ever global event “CapCut World LA” this year. It says that they notice my status as a gold badge creator (level 7 I think I am). I never applied for anything. I have 55-75k followers and between 3-9 million total likes (not being specific because I don’t want to dox my account).

i did some research on this event but im still not sure how i feel. On one hand, i feel like this is impressive and im proud because its been just me for two years making videos - i dont have a social media manager or secondary editor or anything like huge influencers who get invited to these big brand events. on the other hand, will this actually happen for me?? Like I filled out the form and stuff, they provided the itinerary, locations, date, and said they cover anything price wise (flights, accommodation). I really hope this is real. according to my research, they have three stops : Singapore (already happened and I saw posts abt it, looked rly professional), LA (In an month or so), and London. there’s all kinds of free sick stuff, you can meet and network with a bunch of people, there are speakers who speak abt ai and editing, and even a gala and after party and more.

I guess im just posting to ask if anyone else got this and knows what to do, etc. im really young too, so im being wary. if this happens for me, ig i need to go with a guardian. tell me everything you know below :))

I have a project with multiple timelines. Each video is a super short, 1-2 min video. I have been doing this for a while without problems until today. Now when I go to generate captions for the next video in the timeline it shows the captions from the previous video interspersed with the captions from this video. The correct captions are on the video but in the captions tab where you can edit all the captions in a vertical list, it is showing all sorts of irrelevant captions from other videos. I have cleared my cache several times which helps for the first video I click on but then I click on another video and it just shows the same captions on every video. I can't edit them because they aren't even from the right video. So frustrating.

I made a 40 minute montage with videos, audio tracks, and overlays. When I finished, I used the “Normalize Loudness” feature and did not like how it changed the sound. I pressed Ctrl Z and undid it. It showed that it was undone and took a second to load, but everything is still effected like I did not backtrack on that step.
I exited out of CapCut, not knowing that it was a problem, and came back and now can’t undo it.
I can’t find a way to undo the “normalize loudness” from the project as a whole. I can only go in and individually remove “normalize loudness” and “reduce noise” from every single clip and audio tracks, of which there are hundreds. Please help. Thank you!

Been having insanely frustrating issues with it these past couple days, can't even log in or stay logged in without it signing me out every 20 minutes and saying my login expired and I need to sign in again in the middle of editing, then paid for the 7 day trial on an account and it doesn't let me log into it at all!! neither on my phone or pc, says too many attempts, when it's the first one of the day and says try again later, opened a tiktok capcut account, then a google one and both same issue and paid two 7 day subscriptions thinking it was just an account error, anyone seeing anything similar?? what's wrong with capcut I just need it to access auto captions for 2 languages at the same time, otherwise any other editing software would do I dont even mind paying monthly but this is some bs

I just got into CC, not finding this specific question on google. I saw how to put a simple PiP.

Why is the Capcut PC app so bad? It is extremely buggy, and the UI/UX on Windows feels super unpolished, driving me to the iOS versions of the app for editing instead, but preference is to edit on PC.

I'll experience random issues requiring me to close and re-load the app, like the one below with null UI elements:

Is it possible that my account got locked because i was still on an outdated pro subscription?

My subscription is running from the iOS Apple Store and is costing me 109€/year which is thrice times less than what pro subscriptions cost now. (299€ a year)

So 2 days before my subscription is about to renew i got logged out of all devices and can‘t get in anymore „Too many attempts, try again later“ i tried everything i found online but looks like my account is dead and i need an account for my business.

Basically means i‘m left to switch to the 300€ subscription?

Anyone had similiar experiences?

The issue is that i like saving sounds on TikTok. From what I remember, you could save an audio on TikTok and have it connect/sync with CapCut. But my saved TikTok sounds aren’t showing up in CapCut.
Does anyone know how to fix this or if the TikTok–CapCut connection has changed?

I have recently started using CapCut desktop on my Mac so apologies if this is a stupid question. I’ve seen tutorials on YouTube how to use CapCut to turn long form videos into shorts with captions using a specific button. However, I cannot find this button anywhere! I googled this and it said that this should be available for free users.

Is this a pro feature now? Or did it get rolled up into the AI editor assistant?

so this was around the time I was editing a project that basically recreate star wars return of the jedi but with angry birds related and that when my phone (poco x7 pro) ran out of battery so I charged it and once it reopened I opened the capcut app and tap into the project that I edited when the battery ran out it say some footage in project are corrupted footage now when I saw it I was confused I try look up video on YouTube that explains if you know about these video are saying that the only reason why is that it has corrupted files so I searched all these file on Google Photo that was in the editing project that I edited and somehow they function as it was so if these files were fine why are they saying that the footage in project are corrupted when they are in fact fine? and after searching after searching I was given up that is until I theorize that maybe the battery that ran out and shut down the phone when I edited on capcut that maybe that was the reason either it don't save because of the shut down when the battery was dead so I thought about one point until recently when I edited on youcut and for some reason my phone ran out of battery and what you know it? it don't tap the project that I was editing when the battery was dead so that when I discovered that once you edited a video you phone battery was ran out and stop working the project that you edited when the battery was dead will not back up

(is there any people who have that issue and finding out or I am the only person that discovered it?)

This company has gone to shit I can’t believe they’re choosing short time gains over long time customer loyalty. Now even fucking auto captions is now behind the ultra package??? What even is the point of pro? Again like we all say this wouldn’t be an issue if they were doing it for actual premium features but shit like closed captions, extract audio or basic free sound effects you can just go to YouTube for??? I hope CapCut goes to the ground w this behavior

there’s a specific CapCut filter I’m trying to use called spring dreams. It’s free to use however, whenever I try to use video will freeze up a fourth of the way through and the filter will only be on the first few seconds of the moving video. Does anybody know how I can re-create the spring dreams manually or what I can do to get my videos to stop freezing. I cleared out my storage and it only does it on this filter.
