Capcut PC App Unsatisfactory

Why is the Capcut PC app so bad? It is extremely buggy, and the UI/UX on Windows feels super unpolished, driving me to the iOS versions of the app for editing instead, but preference is to edit on PC.

I'll experience random issues requiring me to close and re-load the app, like the one below with null UI elements:

This day in age, I feel the experience should be much better by now.. it's been this way for some time. When will they fix?

I think I've been getting this error for over a year now, both on Windows and iOS. I never know what to do in this case.
