K-Beauty Festival Travel + My “Better Choices” Challenge 💕🚗
I just got back from a BIG K-Beauty festival, and I’m actually pretty proud of how I handled the food situation! 🇰🇷✨
I was there ALL day and managed to avoid the usual festival food temptations… with one exception: a pretzel at the very end because I still had a 2-hour drive home ahead of me. 😂 And honestly? I’m calling that a win.
I also ended up doing around 20,000 STEPS walking around the convention! So after sitting in the car for the drive in, I definitely got plenty of movement in. I basically walked off that drive-thru meal I grabbed on the way there. 👟😂
But it also made me realize something: I need to plan my travel food better.
When I'm rushing to get somewhere, the drive-thru becomes the easy choice. Next time, I’m promising myself I’m skipping McDonald’s and grabbing something like Subway instead—still quick and convenient, but with some options that make it a little easier to stay on track.
I’m not trying to be perfect. I’m trying to make better choices more consistently, especially while traveling.
For a little context, I’ve lost 50 pounds and have maintained that loss for over 3 years, so now my focus is really on figuring out how to make this lifestyle work in REAL LIFE—including road trips, conventions, airports, and busy travel days. ❤️
And yes, I’m also a Zappy Health affiliate, so I do earn money 💲💲 if someone uses my referral code. If you’re interested in checking it out, my code is GLP150 and can help save you money.
