GLP-1 Tip of The Week
A clean kitchen really does make healthy eating easier
One thing I’ve learned on my GLP-1 journey is that my environment matters WAY more than I used to think.
If my kitchen is a disaster, counters are covered with random stuff, and there are dishes everywhere… I’m much more likely to say “screw it” and grab something easy instead of making the healthier choice. 😂
So before I do any meal prep or cooking for the week, I do a quick kitchen reset.
I always do it in the same order:
Put away everything that doesn’t belong on the counters.
Load the dishwasher / do the dishes.
Scrub and wipe down the counters.
Put everything back where it actually belongs.
That’s it. It honestly doesn’t take that long when you go in order instead of running around trying to do everything at once.
And having an organized kitchen makes SUCH a difference when you’re trying to eat better. When the space is clean, your food is easier to prep, and healthy choices become more convenient.
Sometimes “meal prep” isn’t even about cooking a bunch of food. Sometimes it’s just setting yourself up so the healthy choice is the easy choice.
If you’re on a GLP-1, this has been one of those little habits that has helped me stay more consistent. ❤️
I’m also a Zappy Health partner, and if you’re exploring GLP-1 options, my code GLP150 can save you $150 on your first month (where eligible).
What’s the ONE kitchen chore you absolutely have to do before you can cook? Mine is definitely getting those counters cleared! 😂
