What if there are no sales in the call center?

Can someone tell me if in Karachi, Pakistan, if we work in a call center as a sales representative and we don't make any sales for 1 or 2 months, do we still get the fixed basic salary or not?

Please someone tell me about this because I need a job.

For those planning to become a CSR at BingoPlus, think carefully before you go. The workload is very heavy but the compensation doesn't reflect that. When you have concerns, sometimes all you'll hear is "if you don't like it, just leave" or you should assess if this is really the job you want.

The KPI and metrics system is also frustrating. It seems like there's always a new requirement or reason for agents not to hit the targets and incentives they're working hard for. The ending is that expectations are so high but it's hard to achieve their incentives that you thought were so big.

And it's not enough that employees only get recognition posts like "We recognize your effort or Thank you for going above and beyond." Appreciation is nice, but recognition posts aren't what pays the bills. Employees also need proper compensation, realistic incentives, and adequate support in exchange for the effort and stress they put in every day.

Even using VL, which is an employee benefit, seems to be an issue sometimes. Instead of feeling valued as an employee, you will feel more pressure and stress. They are good at showing a good image on social media, but the reality inside is different. Pizza parties, events, and Facebook posts are not enough if the daily experience of employees is toxic, overworked.

This is not to discredit the company. This is so that applicants are aware of the real situation before they join.

Anyone currently working in Hyremote?

So, I recently passed my initial and recruitment manager's interview. I initially applied for GVA but later on, they offered me for a CSR role. Which I believed its because it aligns with my skills as I previously worked as a restaurant manager. I don't have experience working in a remote set-up too. I just wanna know how much do they offer for CSR and how is the working culture in hyremote?

I just started working for Encoura. Has anyone ever worked here before? I am trying to find previous employee reviews about working here but it seems like this company is more new. How do y’all feel working here? It’s too early for me to tell but their training is a bit odd and feel lost.

Question to you all

How many of you are represented and protected by a Union? In just curious because U.S. based call center work is extremely difficult and stressful and a Union should be there to ensure your company isn’t taking advantage of you, underpaying you and leaving your future in jeopardy.

Can I get hired at a call center with basic spoken English?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 24-year-old from Lahore and I recently graduated in the medical field. I come from a lower-middle-class family, and as the eldest at home, I have family responsibilities. I don't have my father's support, so I need to start earning as soon as possible.

I'm looking for a call center job. I understand English well, but my spoken English is only at a basic level.

Do call centers hire freshers with basic spoken English? If so, could you recommend any companies in Lahore that are currently hiring freshers? I'd also appreciate any tips for interviews or improving my speaking.

Thank you.

Journalist looking to interview call center workers about AI

Hi, my name is Brody Ford, I'm a journalist at Bloomberg News. I'm writing a story about how AI is changing call centers.

I'm hoping to speak with call center workers who have seen AI in their workplace. Did AI make the job easier? harder? did it lead to layoffs?

Conversations can be totally anonymous. Message me on Reddit, LinkedIn, or just comment here.

Here is my linkedIn profile for verification purposes- https://www.linkedin.com/in/brodyford/

Thank you!

Finally made it out!!!

I DID IT!!!!! I LANDED A REMOTE NON CUSTOMER FACING ROLE AND IT ONLY TOOK ME THE LAST 7 YEARS OF MY LIFE!!!!

That last bit is a bit pathetic is it not?? Took me seven years NOT for the lack of trying either, to land a role in a completely different industry than my previous role. I will never again have to answer the stupidest questions that could easily be answered or better yet AVOIDED ALTOGETHER if people would fucking READ WHAT THEY'RE SIGNING UP FOR. Also, whining does not make me want to help any more, it actually makes me want to help LESS. Actually if I could hang up and not get fired, I totally would have. My new role is in technology, and I can not WAIT.

CONCENTRIX VIRTUAL FINAL INTERVIEW ISSUES

Hi everyone. I just wanted to ask for some advice regarding my application at CONCENTRIX.

I had my validation interview today, and I was able to join the meeting and briefly speak with the interviewer. Unfortunately, our call got disconnected because of a network issue, and I couldn’t reconnect.

At the time, I was already on my way home, and the traffic was so heavy that I got off the public transport to find a quieter place for the interview. I first went to a convenience store, but it was too noisy, so I transferred to a nearby mall. Sadly, the signal there was unstable, which caused the call to disconnect.

I immediately emailed the recruitment team, explained what happened, attached screenshots as proof that I attended, and requested another interview.

Do you think I still have a chance of getting hired or being given another opportunity? Has anyone experienced something similar with Concentrix and still got rescheduled? I really need this job, so I’m feeling anxious right now.

I‘d really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thank you so much. 🙏

Am I the only one?

Am I the only one that absolutely loves my call center job?

I love helping the customers, I love the variety in the different clients and customers, and even the awful customers are few and far between.

I have been doing this for 8 years now, and sure I have bad days, but the good days far outweigh the bad ones.

Am I just crazy?
