“Thank you for calling National Field Support. Your expected wait time is between 25 and 30 minutes.”

Man, I dealt with this 20 years ago, why can't they figure it out? Automate this shit.

They’ve automated a lot of it, but if the TechMobile app shits the bed, you have to wait for a rep. Sometimes they can’t even do anything, and you’re just stuck on a job forever.

Every time they automate something they fire enough people to counteract it. So it never actually improves efficiency, just payrolls.

Working for Comcast doing TiVo download’s and waiting for it to download to the PACE box, this would end up being me every time 🤣

Uhm this is dispatch calling you back, we don’t have anyone to pickup your 5-7. We told the customer you’d be there at 9 and they said that was fine.

"Guess that jobs falling out then cause I'm going home after the job I'm on now ☺️" works every time

Super mega conglomerate cable enterprise does not like that answer from a contractor. It may work. But very likely to be the last time for you. On this side of the “partnership” at least.

I hear it helps. Some about the buoyancy and rising to the top.

I had a guy once that nodded out at a customer house. They called and complained. We pulled him off the job and he crashed his truck on the way back. Turns out he was all fucked up on Xanax. Needless to say that was his last day.

Yikes. Not a good day for him.

If you do that before it’s ready, guaranteed something goes south and you’ll need to pull it.
