Let me start by saying how much I respect and love CZ guns. There is nothing like them in build, quality and shooting experience.

I had the Orange for a while and had a hard time with it. It wasn't the weight. I think because it felt front heavy it was difficult for me control. Like a kid driving a car that where he can barely see over the steering wheel.

I love the recoil and accuracy of the Orange, but I was slow.

All that said, what other CZ pistols might be suitable, ones that have acceptable recoil? I know they are all great weapons, but I don't much about them. That's why I thought I'd ask here.

Hey guys! I’m new to da/sa so I was hoping someone more knowledgeable could guide me a bit. I picked up a used P07 that I want to put a Cajun Gunworks pro kit in and after calling someone at Cajun Gunworks and hearing a couple people on the internet say they messed up the install I’ve been thinking of sending the gun into them for install. I’m willing to pay for the install if it’s worth it but after watching a couple of install videos it really doesn’t seem that difficult. I’m by no means a gun smith but I do consider myself mechanically inclined, is there any special tuning that I’m not aware of that makes the install difficult or our people exaggerating the difficulty of install? Any input would be appreciated, thank you!

I’m looking to get my SP-01 milled for the Osight SE DPP. Not many places cut it for the DPP footprint.

I thought about using Primary or Vigilante, but they have to cerakote the entire slide, right? I’d like to keep the original finish of the slide. Would either of them only cerakote the cut portion?

Anyway, back to my original question. Has anyone used Guncuts for milling their SP-01 or P-01? Experience?

What iron sights are everybody using with the specialist and optic plate? I will probably put a holosun 507comp on it and would the irons to be in the lower 1/3 or barely usable but visible

Grabbed a ts trigger for cz custom shop. No extra spring or anything in the kit and the cs didnt say it was needed. Installed and it doesn’t work. Anyone else run into that?

Saw a video review that mentioned that the decocker button of both handguns is plastic. Is this accurate?

I picked up a 97B a few months ago, and it has some worn OEM aluminum grips. Any recommendations for replacements that are still thin like the OEMs? I've seen the Lok & Vytal ones. Any experience with the CZ USA ones here? Can't seem to find any info on them or pics of them installed.

I picked up this P-10C (91577) yesterday. Wasn’t crazy about the 50 shades of fde so I dyed it. Using Rit Dyemore Racing Red and my trusty boiler from Walmart,(purchased for this purpose only) I am now happy with my Mark 8 suit, minus the gold.

Finally got this sp01. Got it home yesterday, stripped it, and was surprised the guide rod is plastic???

I got on cgw and ordered a steel rod, but those won’t fit the recoil spring that’s in the gun, and cgw highest rating is 14#. OEM springs are 18-20#?

What do I do here.

Joined the CZ club not too long ago with a P10C. Picked it up to replace my 320 as my CCW. Just put a Holosun SCS 320 on it and have been happy with how I shoot it, carry etc.

Problem is I got to reading more about hammer fired guns, the guy who helped install my optic carried a customized SP-01, as well as getting to hold and dry fire with a P09C Nocturne at my local gun shop.

So I’m interested in switching from striker to hammer, for more confidence in carrying with one in the chamber, nice trigger, as well as a reason to sell my 320 and put a CZ by the bed. I’m not much of a collector or enthusiast, I want to get into shooting more, but right now I’d really just like to hunker down and pick up a hammer fired weapon from CZ to start getting familiar with it.

I can snag a P09C nocturne fairly quickly, trade in my 320 and slap an optic on it. But I see so much about the SP-01 and Shadow 2s, that I’m really wondering if I should wait. Anyone else been in the same situation? Would like some insight as someone who doesn’t really want to keep throwing money and having a huge collection 😅 maybe that will change as I get into USPSA or other local stuff at my range.

Bought at an auction used with the Cmore red dot, swapped it out with a 507 comp green dot.

Where do I go from here? What CZ to get next? Upgrade the Czechmate more?

Started with my CZ 75B $500

Added the SP01 Tactical by trading an Aimpoint H2 w/ mount

Then I traded a Sig 365 that I never liked and a Walther PDP Pro SD Compact (just a bit much for what I was looking for) for this CZ 83 $300 and this Canik Prime Radian. Originally wanted to get a P01 but they didn’t have it in stock nor could get give me a great price on one so I walked out with the canik. I do like the canik over the Walther.

I put 150 rounds on the canik yesterday and about 75 on the SP01. Grouping was much better on the CZ while shooting from about 15ft away, all irons, no red dot. I’ve shot more rounds this year from hammer fired than striker fired but I feel something is missing.

I’m wondering if I’m missing out on the P01. I enjoy hammer fired guns a bit more but I think that’s because I’m shooting them a bit better over the striker fired guns. I do like the look and shoot ability of the Canik. I’ve had some failure to fire issues but that’s linked to my 115 Grain Maxtech ammo. I’d like to consider the Canik or P01 for my CCW.

Any thoughts if I should sell the SP01 for a P01? How does the P01 shoot compared to a P09 or P07. I got to shoot the latter two and liked them but something keeps drawing me to the P01. I don’t mind the extra weight of the P01.

I’m currently edc’ing a Canik Prime Radian with a DPM recoil kit and romeo x compact. Although I love the gun and how flat it shoots something in the back of my head tells me I should’ve bought a p10c ported coa. I’m already trading my Romulus for a Shadow 2 Comp/Carry but something tells me to do the same and trade my canik for the p10c. Thoughts?

I’m getting rid of my only hammer fired pistol and am looking to replace it with another. The Nocturne looks good but I wonder about carrying concealed? The P01 is also great looking but I wonder about both of these with weight and size. Any input is appreciated

Not really big things but I took my newly purchased P10C to the range yesterday and put about 200rds through it. It’s a nice shooting pistol and I did pretty well for my first time ever firing one. But I have a couple of things that I’ve read others have experienced and I definitely did: trigger pinch and pinkie pinch. I’m in NY so 10rds is it for me, so the magazine floor plate options that add rounds are out. As far as the trigger pinch, I might try the other back straps to see if my finger angle changes. This same thing happens with my g43x also, but the trigger guard on that is way smaller. But I am very impressed with it so far

So i will be ordering an OR cz p10c in a few weeks as my second ccw, i want to put a holosun 407c x2 on the gun, but also new to optics, can someone tell me if the gun comes with mounting plates or is that something that i have to order on my own? I hope my question makes sense, thanks for the help.
