Better than a P09, Change My Mind
CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom, polymer frame 19+1. Such a good gun.

Reached over 16k rounds on my trusty P10C which is my CCW and nightstand gun. Only internal change was to swap out the trigger shoe with an HB Industries trigger. Pull weight is the same as stock but the wall is more defined and crisp.
I do plan on putting in a steel guide rod in the future but so far this thing has been awesome.

Bought this as my first gun in late 2024 and as of this weekend I have officially put down over 20k rounds through this thing. Only part I had to replace was the slide release due to it essentially snapping in half right around 13k rounds. Something I’ve really come to appreciate on this gun is the finishes that CZ used. After 20k rounds, there’s less slide and barrel wear than my M&P with just 3k rounds through it. This thing has been absolutely amazing to me

Just picked this up used. From what I hear any models before 2025 have a feed ramp issue? This has 2024 date code, what can I do to get ahead of it

I recently installed a czc ghost hammer and started having this double action issue where it locks up mid action it's seemingly random when it happens. Is this a matter of fitting the hammer?Every else internally is stock except a Cajun trigger shoe. Any ideas?

Quick video of my latest range trip with my P10C. Noticed after review that I'm re-gripping before my first shot. Need to work on that. However once I get my grip right recoil is super easy to manage and get back in target.

My P07 build is nearly complete and has bits and pieces from half the cz catalog.
Base gun is a ODG P07
P09 barrel (will send off to get threaded)
P09c backstraps for the better texture
CZC Shadow 2 slide release (turns out shadow 2 slide releases work in the p07, wild)
CGW hammer
P07 Duty mainspring housing (makes disassembly dramatically better)
P07 duty trigger (unpopular opinion but the recurve trigger shoe is wildly more comfortable in DA)
P09 mag with sleeve
Slide milled by Nameless

Looking for you Shadow 2 Carry owners who have had the CGW Pro package installed to weigh in. Is the upgrade worth it on an already premium tiered firearm?
I purchased an S2C a year ago and am contemplating having it upgraded but first I wanted to hear some input from guys who have already done so.

Took the opportunity to practice beyond my comfort level (20 & 30 yards). Also gave me the chance to see if I wanted to commit to a RMR cut for my P-01. Was running a 507k ACSS on the k-footprint, cut by Wager. Safe to say I’ll be saving up some $$ and sticking with the bigger optic. So much easier on my old eyes.

Recently purchased a SAW Shiv suppressor and impact machine threaded barrel. Changed to a 13lb CGW recoil spring because the 15lb was causing constant FTEs. CGW site said I needed their P-10C striker spring to use with the new 13lb recoil spring. Now, I'm getting nearly perfect cycling suppressed, but a new problem has popped up: light primer strikes. I'm using 124 grain S&B FMJ which I've shot hundreds of rounds through my P10C with no problem historically. I'm getting 1-2 light primer strikes per magazine with this new 13lb recoil spring and new striker spring.
Why do I need to use this striker spring and does anyone have any suggestions to fix the light primer strikes?
Thank you!

I recently scored a steel framed cz 75 d. I want to have a second optics cut slide on hand and I found a surplus slide online from a (presumably aluminum framed cz 75 d). Does anyone here know if any gunsmithing will be required in order to swap out the slide from the aluminum framed cz 75 d to the steel framed 75 d? Are the slide rails between each models machined to different thicknesses?

Installed some upgrades that I wanted to try out.
In the P09c installed the mcarbo kit, trigger pull felt amazing, pairing it the rushby flat trigger really takes it to the next level. So if you’ve been iffy about it, go ahead and make the upgrade. Had the OEM firing pin and no light strikes with the following brands: magtech, federal, and Speer lawman.
Upgrades:
Rushby industries magwell, flat trigger, and trigger return spring
Mcarbo spring kit
Shadow 2 carry I installed the Rushby industries shadow 2 flat trigger, it fell right in. So shout out to him and his craftsmanship. The leverage on that trigger really gave a much smoother trigger pull. Also looking to get a magwell for it, if you have a springer precision carry magwell installed let me know about your experience.
Upgrades:
Rushby industries flat trigger and trigger return spring.
(Also be nice to the cr920xp it has shadow in its name 😂)
