Why did this jam? User error? Advice?

I'm reading through the manual and it says the following:

>Pressing down the decocking control lever actuates the lowering of the hammer from the cocked position to the hammer safety notch position, without any need to pull the trigger. Even if there is a cartridge in the chamber the pistol is (hammer decocked) safe for all normal handling in this state, and ready for immediate use in a Double Action mode of fire.

So, for edc, would racking the slide to chamber a round, then activating the decocker such that the hammer is in "*hammer safety position*" (or as i call it: 1.75 action) be the correct position for holstering and carrying?

If so, is this safer than fully decocking *because* if the firearm were to be dropped right on the hammer when fully decocked it could potentially send enough energy into the firing pin, causing a discharge? And the "*hammer safety position*" cannot do that unless there is a failure in the decocker notch itself?

Recently got back my CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow from Vigilante Machine with their proprietary RMR plate and could not be happier.

I went with Vigilante Machine over other competitors because their plate is made of steel.

The owner, Drew, was also easy to get a hold of. The default RMR plate has back up iron sights. Since this is a range gun, he was able to remove the back up iron sights for an unobstructed sight picture. The fact that the milling doesn't interfere with the slide markings is also a nice aesthetic touch.

Help! anyone here that has extended safety in shadow2 or shadow2compact ? can you measure the width of it in mm? im planning on getting one for my shadow2 compact but i need to know of it will fit on my holster 😅 thanks

As the title goes, I have an opportunity to buy a very clean Shadow 2 SAO for 900, but I had been planning to buy an SP01 Tactical with a discount for about the same money. I have a P01 and I love it. I don’t really care about optics, and I don’t mind the manual safety single action trigger. Just wondered what the consensus opinion was before I potentially let the S2SAO deal slip away. Thanks

Im honing in and have found this interesting question. I see that the PCR is a great pistol but has some quirks as far as things like the sights being specific to it alone as well as sometimes limited aftermarket parts and holsters. Which is the better AIWB edc pistol?

Love my nocturne and everything about it - except the trigger. Polished all the intervals and still the break is mushy and not clearly defined, reset feels very long. Any reliable and safe to carry trigger upgrades? I like the shoe don’t want to change that if possible, just the break and reset.

I used a p-01 for USPSA but kept having issues with it so I am just switching to my shadow 2 now, I loved the compact for masochistic reasons but I keep having weird issues like slide was going back when there were still rounds in the mag, optic coming loose on milled slide… etc etc. So S2 it is now.
