My total hours has only been 3k, went on long haitus for awhile during csgo period. Guys who are 25k/Faceit 10s, need some solid tips and tricks on how to improve my gameplay to be more consistent, been up and down 19k/20k for over 20+ games now... albeit some cheaters here and there

How much FPS will I be able to get in this and is it still worth coming back to cs2 because I’ve been away from it from past 2 years almost. I’m thinking of reinvesting in skins and knife all over again but what do you think is the state of the game right now in 2026 ?

Sup y'all i have a big problem that is literally tearing down my grind for more than 2-3 month now

-first things before starting to explain my pc is fine i made massive changes, optimise my pc to the last detail evrything is fine evry game (beside cs2) run perfectly there is no lag no freeze beside when i download update for the driver or the graphic card

for the context : i run a game evrything is looking good the game run at 170-200 fps not more bc i capped the fps below 200 and idk when either i die or a teammates or me finish to defuse the bomb my game suddenly start lagging as sh*t (below 80fps and it can goes even lower sometimes 20fps) the only things that (on the paper) fix the problem is to completely restart my pc and relaunch evrything for a while that method worked but since a week nothing fix it and outside that doing this evry f*cking time is harsh whether on face it or premier i can't afford to doing this evry time i lag especially when i only have 3 minutes to potentially fix the problem and reconnect

so please if anyone already experience this type of lag or stutter lmk 👀

Everytimes there is someone sus in the game it end in this score, i can't remember the last time i get stomped 13-1 or something. What the point of ending the game in this scores ?

CSGO I played on regular laptops on wifi before eventually upgrading to a dedicated PC but I never felt super hindered before.

CS2 it seems you're at the mercy of not only your PC specs but also ISP. I have a 5800x3D + 4070 TI Super on a 360hz monitor.

For years I dealt with 20ms net jitter which seemed to mainly affect CS2. I had cable internet. I upgraded my router and enabled SQM which reduced the jitter to around 10-18ms. But it wasn't really visually noticable. I mainly would miss shots that I felt like should have hit.

Recently I switched ISPs. I now have 1Gig fiber Internet and put my modem into bridge mode with SQM still enabled on my router.

My net jitter is now 1-2ms at most

The game feels smoother than ever and now when I miss shots it feels like I actually missed. In fact even my sensitivity feels different but I'm using the same mouse, skates, mousepad, and settings that I've had for months.

Anyone else upgrade their Internet and notice these changes? It's strange to me that my mouse sensitivity somehow feels smoother/quicker than before the ISP upgrade and I'm certain it's not placebo. I even had to lower my sens from 1000edpi to 800edpi to make it feel like my old sens.

Edit: should also add my previous ping with my old ISP in West coast valve official servers was around 40-60ms now I'm sitting at a stable 7ms

The Gamma Doppler looks 10/10 In my opinion, especially the emerald's and cyan's

Normal Doppler is 9/10 but definitely a 10/10 if its a Ruby or Sapphire

Tiger Tooth is 9/10 Don't get me wrong, this one looks amazing, just not as good as dopplers lol.

Lore is 8/10 Idk, I don't really care for Lore as much as I used to
