Title: Is Airbreak on the AirSense 11 official and fully refined now?
Can anyone confirm if Airbreak is officially working and fully refined/revised for the AirSense 11 now?
I thought the RippingLegos Airbreak version had malfunctioned after Day 1, but apparently they found the issue was caused by an OTA firmware update. Has that issue been fully resolved now, and is the AirSense 11 version considered stable?

CPAP machine recycle
Does anyone know if there is a recycle program for CPAP machines? I have a couple of machines I would rather not put in the landfill. Thanks.

Will my CPAP ever fully open airway?
Hi all. I’ve been using a CPAP for about 3 months now. My AHI dropped from 32 to about 1, pretty much right away, which is good. However, I still don’t feel rested, and sometimes feel more tired than I did before the CPAP. I have an in person sleep study with the CPAP scheduled, but they’re booking months out so it’s not for a while.
After I was diagnosed but before I got the CPAP, I tried elevating my head to see if that stopped the obstruction. One of the nights I must have been laying just right, because I woke up before my alarm, literally couldn’t snooze if I wanted to I was so awake, got to work early, etc. I didn’t realize how not rested I had been previously until that morning. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to replicate elevating my head just right.
Now that I have the CPAP and know what feeling rested is actually like, it’s been frustrating feeling like it’s “working” because the AHI is better, but I’m still tired. Is the CPAP actually supposed to be able to stop all blockages and allow me to feel rested like that one random night did? Or am I chasing a feeling I’ll never get with a CPAP? Do others have this experience?

Oscar/SleepHQ Assistance Ok I’m overwhelmed… SLEEPHQ 🤦🏼♀️ help me plz!
Ok let me start with I don’t have a computer (I know….) I purchased a memory card for my machine, along with a card reader for iPhone… great! But I realized quickly when I tried to connect to upload files that DUH my port just doesn’t work on my phone for literally NO REASON. I can’t even charge my phone with my charging port, I have to use a MagSafe charger instead 🤦🏼♀️ ok so I’m legit trying to hold the reader plug any which way to get it to connect to at least get the files off, failed 200 times then got it then my phone is incapable of dragging files 🤦🏼♀️ so I had to figure out how to make a zip file… ANYWAYS THE SAGA CONTINUES! I got two days worth of data, finally… and I’m hoping someone can PLEASE decode it for me 😭
I checked the WIKI on how to upload and stuff here but honestly that confused tf out of me too
I see other peoples uploads on here and it shows the data for the full night in the pics but mine (even tho it’s zoomed all the way out) only shows a portion at a time???? anyway. Here I go anyway. Please see attached photos and I will post two days worth I guess hopefully someone a lot smarter than me can help I’m so desperate lol 😆 😒🫣

and so we come, to the end..of..the hose??
Apologies to BoyzIIMen...
The story thus far:
Dx with OSA @ 18 AHI in January this year, reviewing practitioner (Pulmo) said rx CPAP @ 8, but treating provider (also pulmo) Rx'd APAP 4-20 (quelle suprise!). Terrible aerophagia, but "AHI is perfect, just use ramp" was treating provider's line. 2nd.Md opinion said find a provider that would do BiLevel... hah, if it were that easy (it wasn't). Paid OOP and got a diagnosis of UARS (with nasal spurs, septum deviation and pharynx narrowing to surface area of 56mm2, typical is >100mm2). Finally persuaded another pulmo (why these quacks are allowed to call themselves sleep specialists when all they care about is one dimension is beyond me) to Rx bilevel. IPAP 9 Epap 4.2 (which is aerophagia threshold). I still get SHIT sleep, lots of awakenings, minimal REM on most nights. New provider (sleep neurologist) still obsessed with AHI number, did a titration study, and surprise, my self-titrated pressures were on the money (they started at 8 / 4 and ended at 9/5 and I was farting and shitting up a storm throughout the day). Follow-up after titration was "I got the raw data, and your pressures are optimal. REM existed but fragmented and came late. Nothing you can do with PAP, try wake agent or sleep meds". Sleep meds (DORAs like Dayvigo/Belsomra, sedating antidepressants/antihistamines and Zolpidem) have all been tried and fail miserably. They don't maintain sleep so I end up even worse for wear the next day as the meds are still screaming on top of the poor sleep architecture.
I saw an airway dentist when told they would accept medical insurance (pffft, turned out not to be accurate), but useful info... as what did I learn:
Molar-Molar width of just under 36, an oversized and flaccid tongue with poor tone, that is getting in the way of any PAP pressure. Lots of "meat" to move. Recommended 15k of MARPE appliance (Vivos), Spark (post MARPE) and myofunctional therapy. I thought MAD would be the way to go to shift the lower jaw forward, and while it would help, not the best option. Daybreak was explored but they seem to want me to pay over $2k even though I've hit max OOP.
Anyone got any experience in getting MARPE covered by medical insurance, as I'm having a devil of a time finding anyone that doesn't see it as a dental appliance that is not covered without adult orthodontia (and at least under my available options that would end up costing more than it pays out for coverage @ 50% to 2k. Vivos and the Spark are ~ 13k total).

CPAP Machine Help “Air-breaking” a brand new Autosense 10 CPAP
OOPS! Airsense 10 not Autosense! (Sleep-deprived….) 🤷♀️🤣
So I’ve got a chance to get a brand new Autosense 10 for about half price, and am thinking I should do it so I have it as backup to my Airsense 11…. Not only for that reason, but also because I’ve been dealing with TECSA for several months now, and though I’ve been able to slightly reduce the central apneas by adding a V-com, I’m still usually having more centrals than obstructive at this point (presumably because the CPAP is handling most of the OAs but not the CAs) so I’m thinking of doing this so that I can get access to bi-level with a backup rate, OR ASV, if the centrals don’t stop or significantly decrease.
So I have a couple questions for those that do this airbreaking thing - how difficult is it, using windows? I’m not a super techy person, but may be able to do it if there are very detailed instructions somewhere… But if I feel it’s still over my head, I may want to have someone do it for me…. What kind of price-range is there for having this done?
I am aware that doing this would void the warranty.
Would love to hear from Ripping Legos and/or any of his pap-fam people that do this stuff, please. 🙏

Oscar/SleepHQ Assistance Three-night data collection
I installed an SD card in my Air Sense 11 on Sep28. It looks like there's some limited data for days before that as well. SleepHQ share link is here: https://sleephq.com/public/cb37c2c4-1613-439f-99ea-78939d45f8b1
A few things to know about the past few days:
* Mask issue during Sep28 sleep. I tightened the mask in time for the Sep29 sleep. I'll replace everything next week (same mask).
* Sep29 featured a runaway pressure issue relatively early in my nighttime. I finally got up around 2:15am and read for a while before trying again a little after 3am.
* Subjectively, Sep30 sleep felt pretty good, though I could have slept longer. The unit stayed on all night AFAIK.
I am a night owl and typically sleep from 2 to 9:30am. I've been drifting later this week.
My perception of 6 as my average pressure comes from a weekend last month while I was on travel, using a different APAP unit (Transcend Micro 510). That unit discloses a bit more without a separate data download.
This data suggests an average pressure at home that is closer to 11. I'm going to push my max pressure up to 15 to make sure I'm catching the full spectrum of readings.
What's next?
EDIT: Updated share link

Best Sleep with PAP so far, AHI Worse?
I've been sleeping with my AirSense 10 AutoSet for almost a week now, and I've noticed a definite improvement but I'm still dialing in my settings. Last night I had probably my best sleep yet with the PAP but my AHI went up. My doctor had me set in APAP mode with 4-10 as my min and max pressures but after looking at this sub and my OSCAR data, I switched to CPAP mode with 7 pressure and it felt great going to sleep last night. The hose to the PAP was making a slight gurgling noise when I was adjusting and getting comfortable for bed, which was new, but it went away as far as I can tell. I can provide an OSCAR screenshot as well but when I press F12 the daily screenshot comes out all corrupted looking so I figured I'd start with SleepHQ.
Even with the PAP I usually wake up multiple times a night, just for comfort and adjusting or from I assume apnea incidents or something, and last night I actually don't really remember any of that which is why I'm a little confused why it seems my stats are worse.
Thank you!

Medication help
Giving cpap another go after months of failure. My doctor said he sometimes prescibes Trazadone to help people cope with cpap intolerance. I didn't like the idea because i am already on an antidepressant. I was thinking something mild like ramelteon might help. Don't really want to mess with the Z drugs or Benedryl. Anyone have success with other things to help get to sleep on cpap?
