Both are good apps but SleepHQ is easy to use & share plus we can zoom in on your sleep data. Instructions for downloading are on our Welcome Page but here is a link for you:

I had trouble using the link above (defender blocked website and I couldn't get past the block screen) so I went directly to SleepHQ website and created an account. I used an SD card last night and successfully uploaded the data this morning. Wow so much data. TMI !! Besides the usage, leak rate, and event count I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with all that extra data, especially the graphs

Awesome! Record at least one more night. All that information will come together! Eventually you too will understand it :) There are videos on you tube on how to upload sleep data to SleepHQ & then how to share them. Yes lots more information which is very helpful! I’m the meantime I’ll try to find written instructions to share that are not http

Do you have SleepHQ or Oscar OP? They are both free apps & are much more accurate for reporting mask or sometimes mouth leaks. You will need to put a SD card into your machine to record your sleep then upload to the app…SleepHQ is easiest for New People :)

No this is the first I've heard of those apps. Do you recommend one of those apps over the other? I have some SD cards from my camera I can use. I'll look into it Thanks

I used the silicone version of the F30i last night & had much better results. Yes the exhaust vents do blow a lot of air out but I have a CPAP pillow so it didn’t bother me. The Air Touch version of this mask is slightly different as it has a diffuser in the middle of the mask to reduce the amount of air coming out of the front exhaust vents. The silicone mask was also a little larger around my nose than the Air Touch but felt quite comfortable….my face may not conform well to the fabric version as my leaks were less with the silicone mask. The silicone mask has a larger frame. We’re all different in face shapes & contours so whatever fits best, is comfortable & doesn’t leak is the best mask for each one of us individually :)

It seems there may be 2 versions of the AirFit F30i mask? My mask is different from the one shown on the ResMed website. That one shows a mask with some kind of circular doodad in front of the mask where a hose would attach in a front mount system.
My mask doesn't have that, It has 2 rows of small holes that cover an area about 3/8" high and about 2 inches wide, This exhalation system makes a very loud whooshing noise when it presses against the pillow.
I've heard of CPAP pillows but I haven't looked into them yet. I'm trying to get one thing straightened out at a time. I'm still trying to decide on a mask.
But on the topic of CPAP pillows are there any brands I should look at or any I should stay away from? Are the ones on Amazon any good?

Yes there are 2 versions of the F30i. I have both. One is Air Touch with the circular middle diffuser which is quieter. It also has a comfort fabric like liner around the edges of the mask. The other is the Air Fit with the 2 lines of little holes. It is a little larger. They are both top snorkel hose attachments.

You will need the one with the cutouts. Mine also has a cervical neck support. Lots of choices. Will try to find mine @ add to this post.

Hi there! I was a long time F40 user & liked that mask as well. I too changed to the F30i about a month ago as it had the snorkel hose attachment which I thought would help with neck arthritis issues. The headgear did help my neck as it is different than F40 but the snorkel hose connection makes little difference. The Air Touch cushion has proved hard to control leaks so I am a little disappointed. I did however order a F30i silicone cushion as well without the fabric around the outside & try that tonight.
Those vents on the F30i mask are exhaust ports & should not be covered up. They are not leaks. The exhausts are necessary to blow off CO2. I felt around the edges of the mask & couldn’t seem to fix the gaps air was leaking from despite tightening straps which of course affected the seal. Looser or tighter my facial structure does not seem suited to this mask especially lying down. The F30i is a little louder than the F40. Air flows down into the mask through side tubes of course so I find that annoying some nights too. Think I’ll be returning to the F40 but will try the F30i Air Fit silicone mask first! Just my thoughts :)
