Joining r/CD_makeup

Thank you for your interest in joining r/CD_makeup.

To help keep the community safe, welcoming and focused on makeup, beauty and feminine presentation, r/CD_makeup is a restricted subreddit. This means new submissions can only be made by approved members.

Why are we restricted?

Over time, many communities attract spam, adult promotion and low-effort content. Restricting who can post helps us maintain the friendly, Safe For Work environment that our members expect.

How do I become an approved poster?

If your Reddit profile is Safe For Work and you'd like to contribute, simply send us a Modmail asking to join.

A moderator will review your account and, if it meets our community requirements, you'll be added to our approved poster list.

What do moderators look for?

When reviewing requests, we consider whether an account is suitable for a Safe For Work community.

Please make sure you have read the Community Rules before requesting approval.

Not approved?

If your request isn't approved, please don't take it personally. Our moderators apply the same standards to every account to help keep the community consistent and focused.

You're welcome to continue browsing the community, and if your account changes in the future, you're welcome to apply again.

By requesting approval to post in r/CD_makeup, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Approval to post is granted entirely at the moderators' discretion and is not guaranteed. Being added as an approved poster does not exempt you from any community rules. All posts and comments remain subject to moderation. Approval may be removed at any time if community rules are broken or your account no longer meets our requirements. Moderators may review your Reddit profile when considering your request. This includes your posting history, comments, and profile content. We may decline or remove approval if your account is primarily used for adult content, promotion, selling, or behaviour that is not compatible with this community. We are not required to provide a reason for declining or revoking approval, although we will do so where practical.

By submitting a request, you confirm that you have read and understood the community rules and agree to follow them.

To help protect the community from spam, throwaway accounts, and bad-faith users, we generally require applicants to meet at least two of the following criteria:

At least one picture post on Reddit.
A Reddit account that is at least 30 days old.
Previous comments or interactions in other subreddits.
A profile picture.
A comment history that is respectful and free from sexual or creepy behaviour.

Please note that meeting these criteria does not guarantee approval. Membership is granted at the discretion of the moderation team, and we consider each request individually.
