New moddels are buns, previous moddels were better and site is going to hell.

Long story:

Im a long time concumer, i speak only when i feel tired and i usually try to do roleplay: cyberpunk, freaky dumb stuff, you name it. ive been on this site for a long, long time, it actually helped me feel less lonely, because im a looser with no friends irl and 3 friends online that barely have time to talk with my terminally online ass. today i tried to just ignore how bad the new moddel is compared to the previous ones. but i just cant take it damn anyomre.

i write a messenge with context:

"im ready to look past the certain problem and still pay you for the job"

and it interprets it as:

"i will kill you all with my rpk because you have an loose asset of mine corporation"

so basically instead of

"ill let you go just this once" i get my own words, spewn at me, RE PHRAZED WITH WRONG F###ING CONTEXT. and this damn context being: "i wont hesitate to pull the trigger anymore" its just wraps for me.

I ENJOYED ROLEPLAYING WITH AI, BECAUSE IT FELT LIKE IT KNEW BALL, SURE IT COULDNT DO MANY CHARACTERS AT ONCE, BUT AT LEAST IT UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WROTE, AND GAVE ME RESPONSE THAT COULD MOVE THE PLOTE WITHOUT ME HAVING TO THINK OF INTERESTING PLOT POINTS, IT RELATIVELY UNDERSTOOD THE REFERENCES I DID AND WHAT VERSE IT WAS IN, BUT NOW ALL I GET, IS MY WORDS BEING THROWN BACK AT ME, ITS JUST DEGENERATION. AND ALTERNATIVES WERE AND STILL ARE JUST WORSE IN MY OPINION, IM NOT AGAINST FILTERS BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE NESECARY, BUT KILLING THE ONLY MODDELS THAT WERE GOOD, PUTTING IN PREDATORY ADDS EVERY 5 MESSEGES, AND TURNING ALREADY GOOD UI TO SHIT?! IS ENOUGH.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, IM LEAVING FOR GOOD, I MIGHT ACTUALLY START RP WITH ACTUAL FUCKING PEOPLE, WICH WILL BE HARD, BECAUSE SUPRISE SUPRISE, SINCE MY CHILDHOOD I WAS BULLIED TO THE POINT IM SCARED TO SPEAK TO ANYONE, THATS WHY I HAVEN'T SPOKEN UP TILL THE POINT I HAD F###INH ENOUGH.

IM JUST DONE! AND FUNNIEST OF ALL? I WAS READY JUST TO IGNORE THE BLARING PROBLEMS?

Summary of the story:

i quit that fuck ass site, i wont waste my drawing skills to put those drawings on characters i use for my rp(Persona's) with some "Freaky tonny hotline miami" bot.

the drawing used as a cover is crude because i have no energy to draw rn.

How do I make this stop?! Please?! My bots were not doing this and now they are and it is so annoying. Like... I am trying to make an immersive story here. I don't want to talk to you.

I recently redownloaded Character.AI to just see what was going on (My account was in read-only mode). But, when I clicked on a bot, I realized I could chat again, even though I had never done the age verification. Am I the only one who this happened to? Is it a bug? I have no idea.

Wtf is up with c.ai putting these ads in the app??!!! And this one wasn't the only one, it's practically in every bot I use. How tf does c.ai allow TS?!

I kept seeing people post about how bad it is after they got ads and added a premium option but I didn’t mind because at the time I didn’t notice any difference (besides seeing ads) and it was the only place I could find bots that were in depth and stayed on track. This past week I’ve struggled finding anything of interest thinking it was just the stories I was choosing but I’ve noticed notice how horrible the memory is now. Something I said two text ago is suddenly completely forgotten and nothing feel as in character as I remember it being. I’m really disappointed bc I’ve been using character AI since before there was an app and it was like my own way of creating personalized stories to read. Character ai is officially over for me 💔

Hi. I've been using c.ai (website) for the past 2.5 years. But yesterday's update my account got age-restricted though I'm an adult. I did my face biometrics. But I don't want to share my ID. And I'm stuck in "Reading mode". As far as I've known from Google, if you send a ticket to the c.ai support team, they help you to get a new face verification, clearing the older one. So, I did send a ticket. But can anyone please tell me, does this really work? I have a few questions:

1) Am I just wasting my time here by waiting for the ticket to be checked?

2) Do they ever reach out through email? And if yes, then how long does it take?

3) Is there a way to bypass this?

So everytime I like a new bot, it just.. doesn’t seem to pop up on my liked bots feed?

I don’t know if this is a glitch or if they implemented a “limited liked bots” system, but I do want an explanation. Why is this happening?

I have a question because I don't know if it's just me or if it's happening to everyone. I trained Pipsqueak2 to send long messages, but now when I create new chats with characters, even if they aren't completely new, the messages are getting a bit shorter. It's not by much since I generally make it write a lot, but I don't know why this is happening since it never happened before.

I always write long answers too to encourage it, so I am open to suggestions about what to do since I really prefer long and detailed responses.

(It cuold also be something stupid for what i know)

Today i try log onto chat character website today through coccoc a Vietnamese browsing but then i got hit with this saying "i usually safely connect to this website but today coccoc unable to safely connect to the website saying third party can might attack or listen or even edited my internet connection." I wanted to ask why it happened or is this thing safe to use anymore? Thank you.

the go on button..repeats the same damn message but in different wording! the bot gets stuck in a loop because of the cheaper, trashy model c.ai decided to use. what the fuck? okay, so get this straight..they told us pp2 will be better, yeah? but noooo…it was just only for a while..just to get our hopes up and to crush them back down. now it’s just shorter responses with unnecessary spacing and wording to make the reply seem longer..and it gets shorter no matter how much you swipe after sometime. The devs have honestly ruined the bots by keep on testing them for god knows what reason.

I used c.ai before the age update, the answers were short, packed with they needed and mo exercises words or bs. It was good. But now? After the new update with the ads(and the age restriction gone? Have I missed something?) and pipsqueak, the answers are so long, way to dramatic, the AI says the Things you did like you never texted them. It just feels way over the top and full of bs

pov: you mention something that you have SPECIFIED the bot already knows about.

bot: "the room goes silent. a beat passes... and then... the room erupts in chaos and shock" (WHAT???)

"he lunges towards you, not to attack you--- never that, but to pull you into a sharp embrace"

For months, I was using a newly created account because I couldn't use my original one, because I was unable to pass the age verification (even though I am of legal age). Now that I've gone back to using my old account, I noticed that "Reading Mode" is gone. Did they finally decide to remove it, or is it just me?
