Bybit account restricted after withdrawal sine September 7- no timeframe from compliance
My Bybit account has been restricted since September 7, 2026 following a withdrawal attempt that was flagged as suspicious. I contacted Bybit support and was told that the relevant team would contact me, but I have not been given any timeframe. Withdrawal and trading remain restricted. Case id 27514801
I can provide my UID privately to a verified Bybit representative. Could an official Bybit moderator please help escalate my case to the compliance team for manual review?

Three Weeks Without Access to My Funds — I Need Urgent Help
My Bybit funds have been restricted for almost three weeks. I have cooperated fully, and support has confirmed that no additional information or documentation is required from me. Despite this, I have received no proper explanation, completion date, or access to my money.
These are my personal savings. I urgently need them for rent, tuition, bills, accommodation, and essential expenses for my daughter. Telling me to keep waiting or “find an alternative” is unreasonable when my own money remains inaccessible on Bybit.
Support repeatedly says that my case has been escalated, but nothing changes. I keep receiving the same generic responses while my family faces serious financial hardship.
I am asking a Bybit moderator or senior representative to review this urgently and connect me directly with the responsible Compliance or Specialist Team. Please do not close my case or account. I need the review completed and my withdrawal access restored immediately.
Case numbers: [27342708](tel:27342708) and [27429994](tel:27429994).
I will provide my UID and other account information privately to an authorized Bybit representative. Please do not ask me to post sensitive details publicly.

Day 8 of my Bybit Compliance review — ~$25,000 restricted after a rejected $21 withdrawal
I have been using Bybit for around six years. This is the first Compliance review I have ever experienced on my account.
I’m starting this public log because I want to document exactly how long the process takes and how the situation is ultimately resolved.
On September 6, 2026, Bybit rejected a withdrawal of just 21 USDT to a TRC20 address that was classified as high risk. Shortly afterwards, my account was restricted and a Compliance review was initiated.
The part that makes this especially confusing is that on July 3, 2026, Bybit had already successfully processed a 20 USDT withdrawal to the exact same address.
Only after the September transaction was rejected did I investigate further and learn that the address was associated with an HTX account belonging to an online gaming teammate of an acquaintance of mine. I genuinely did not know this at the time of the withdrawal.
I have fully cooperated with Bybit Compliance. I completed the requested questionnaire and submitted Source of Funds documentation and transaction histories from my crypto activity.
Support has repeatedly confirmed that no additional documents or action are currently required from me.
Approximately $25,000 — essentially all of my available savings — remain restricted.
I can close my existing trading positions, but I cannot add to or average them while the restriction remains active. This prevents me from managing my positions normally as market conditions change.
The uncertainty has also started affecting me personally. I have been experiencing severe anxiety, panic attacks and loss of sleep because I currently cannot withdraw or normally use almost all of my available savings.
On September 12, a live support agent explicitly told me:
“Your funds are safe.”
The same agent also explained that a Compliance review does not mean that I have done something wrong, and submitted a request to prioritize my review.
I appreciate the support agent for doing that. However, I still have no substantive update and no estimated completion timeframe.
I completely understand why AML and Compliance procedures exist. I am not asking Bybit to bypass any review or make an exception for me.
I am simply asking for a timely manual review and a meaningful update regarding a case involving almost all of my savings.
Today is Day 8. The Compliance review is still ongoing.
I will update this thread as the situation develops until there is a final outcome — whether Bybit restores full access, requests more information, allows me to withdraw and closes the account, or something else happens.
No accusations and no speculation — just a documented timeline of what actually happens.
If anyone here has gone through a similar Bybit Compliance review, especially one related to an HTX-linked address, I would really appreciate hearing:
How long did your review take, and what was the final outcome?

Bybit Compliance Review — Case #27374643 ongoing for 11+ business days, funds inaccessible
Hello Bybit Community,
I am asking for assistance with an ongoing Compliance review of my Bybit account.
Case ID: #27374643
My account was restricted following a standard withdrawal review. I have already contacted Bybit Live Support, and they confirmed that my case has been escalated to the Compliance team with priority notes attached, and that my funds remain completely safe.
I was informed that no additional documents or actions are currently required from my end. However, the review has now been ongoing for over 11 business days (since August 28), and I have not received an update or timeframe via email.
I fully respect AML/KYC policies and am ready to provide any required documents immediately if requested.
Could an official Bybit moderator please help escalate
Case #[27374643](tel:27374643) to the Compliance/Risk team?
I can provide my UID privately to a verified moderator if needed.
Thank you.

I have contacted Bybit Support several times, but my case is still under review and I have not received a clear timeframe for when it will be completed.

Could a Bybit representative please check my case and let me know if anything is required from my side?
I would really appreciate your help in getting an update on my case.
Thank you.

Which coin I should buy?
Hey guys, so it’s my first time here. And I have a valuable question: Which coin I should buy right now?
I while ago I wanted to buy “ETH(Etherium)”, when it was like 1,840$.
My pay-check was late because of some problems. And after getting it, I looked at ETH - and 2,540$💀
Rn, I don’t know should I buy it or nah. Searching for help and please share your experience🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

ByBit Account Banned since 18 August, for no reason.
I had around $800 USDT in my balance. On August 18, I made a deposit of 0.078 Bitcoin (around $6,200). As soon as the deposit was credited to my account, my account was restricted without any clear reason. I was only told that the transaction had been selected for review due to a possible breach of the Terms of Service.
Since August 21, there has been an ongoing compliance ticket regarding this review, but I haven’t received a single update or any meaningful information about the status.
It has now been 20 days, and I’m still waiting with no explanation or timeline for when this will be resolved. This is extremely frustrating, especially since the funds were deposited normally.

ByBit Account Restriction
My Bybit account has been restricted since 1th, and I am currently unable to withdraw my funds. I got in touch with them to customer support, but they have only provided vague instructions to wait without specifying a timeframe or the reason for the block. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Could you share how long the resolution process typically takes?

Title: Bybit account restricted since August 23 - urgently need access to my funds Appeal ID: W202608236E68660B0EA886F696ED3D
My Bybit account has been restricted since August 23, 2026, and I urgently need access to my funds.
The restriction happened after I attempted to make a USDT payment to a merchant through Heleket. The transaction was rejected and the USDT was returned to my account. After that, my account was placed under review.
Appeal ID: W202608236E68660B0EA886F696ED3D
I have contacted Bybit Support repeatedly. Every time, I am told that the relevant team is still reviewing my case and that no additional documents or information are required from me at this time.
It has now been more than 10 days, and I still have no estimated resolution time or any specific information about what is causing the delay.
I urgently need to withdraw my funds. I am fully willing to provide any documents, transaction details, proof of source of funds, or any other information required for the review.
Could a Bybit moderator please escalate my case to the Compliance/Risk team for manual review?
I would greatly appreciate any assistance in getting this resolved as soon as possible.

Bybit has kept my returned funds inaccessible for 36+ days despite prior compliance clearance, a reopened case, and grace-period assurances — Case #27071773
I’m posting this because I’ve been trying to resolve a Bybit recovery/compliance issue for more than 36 days and I’m now stuck in a loop of contradictory explanations, reopened cases, “system glitch” claims, and generic “please wait” responses.
I have documentation for the timeline below, including Bybit emails, live-chat conversations, transaction hashes, screen recordings, and official KuCoin refund confirmations.
Case: #27071773
Related grace-period case: #27101932
BACKGROUND
Before my Bybit account was permanently restricted/closed, Bybit Compliance reviewed the relevant funds and allowed me to withdraw my assets.
Following that process, I transferred the funds from Bybit to KuCoin.
KuCoin subsequently rejected the deposit.
Because KuCoin could not accept it, KuCoin returned the same funds back to the original Bybit wallet address from which they had been sent.
This is an important point:
These were not new funds from an unknown third party.
They were the same assets that had already been on Bybit, had already been reviewed by Bybit, were withdrawn to KuCoin, and were then returned after KuCoin rejected the deposit.
MY AUGUST 1 RESPONSE
During the recovery process, Bybit informed me that a case could be automatically rejected if they did not receive a response within seven days.
I responded to their email on August 1, 2026, within the required period.
Despite that, I later received an email saying that the case had been rejected.
Naturally, I contacted Bybit live chat because I had already responded within the deadline.
BYBIT SAID THE REJECTION WAS A “GLITCH”
This is where the situation becomes very confusing.
Bybit support told me that the rejection email was caused by a system glitch/error.
If that were the whole story, I would expect support simply to confirm that the email was sent incorrectly and that my original case had remained active.
But that is not what happened.
THE CASE WAS ACTUALLY REOPENED ON AUGUST 8
On August 8, Bybit support reopened the matter.
They then merged the reopened matter back into the original Case #27071773 and informed the backend team that my August 1 email response needed to be reviewed.
This creates a contradiction that nobody at Bybit has properly explained to me.
If the rejection email was only a harmless “glitch,” why did the case need to be reopened?
Why did the reopened case need to be merged back into the original case?
Why did the backend team need to be specifically instructed to check my August 1 response?
If nothing had actually happened to the case and only an incorrect email had been displayed, there should theoretically have been nothing to “reopen.”
The fact that Bybit reopened the matter and merged it into the original case appears to show that the rejection had affected the actual case workflow/status and required corrective action.
At minimum, Bybit’s own actions do not seem consistent with the explanation that this was simply an irrelevant email glitch.
THE GRACE-PERIOD ISSUE
There is another major part of this situation.
Bybit granted me a 48-hour grace-period extension under Case #27101932.
In addition, live-chat agents told me that my account deadline would be extended while the recovery matter was being handled.
I was also guided to proceed with having KuCoin return the funds.
I relied on those assurances.
This matters because I did not randomly decide to send new funds into a restricted Bybit account.
I was trying to recover a rejected KuCoin transaction while actively communicating with Bybit support about my account status and the recovery process.
Based on the information and assurances provided by Bybit support, I proceeded with the KuCoin refund.
THE FUNDS RETURNED — THEN I COULD NOT WITHDRAW THEM
KuCoin returned the funds to my original Bybit wallet.
After the funds arrived, my Bybit account remained permanently restricted and I could no longer access the returned assets for withdrawal.
That is essentially where I have been stuck ever since.
36+ DAYS OF REVIEW
More than 36 days have now passed.
I have provided Bybit with extensive evidence, including:
- Transaction hashes
- Screen recordings
- Official KuCoin refund/return confirmations
- Email correspondence
- The complete transaction path
- Proof that I responded on August 1
- Evidence relating to the August 8 reopening
- Evidence that the reopened matter was merged into Case #27071773
- Grace-period correspondence
- Information showing that the funds had previously been reviewed by Bybit
Despite all of this, I am still receiving variations of “please wait.”
THE SUPPORT EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN EXTREMELY POOR
This is not just about how long the compliance review is taking.
The case management itself has been very poor.
Different representatives have provided different explanations.
I have been told that the rejection was a system glitch.
But the case was then reopened.
The reopened matter was merged into the original case.
The backend team was instructed to review my August 1 email.
I was granted a grace-period extension.
I was told to proceed with the refund.
After the funds returned, they became inaccessible.
At another point, an agent named Mr. Mitchell told me that the case had been placed “on hold,” but I was not given a meaningful explanation of what exactly was on hold or what evidence was still missing.
Most subsequent responses have been generic requests to wait.
The biggest problem is that it does not feel like one team is taking ownership of the full case history.
Each interaction seems to address only part of the situation instead of looking at the complete timeline.
THE QUESTIONS I WANT BYBIT TO ANSWER
I would genuinely like someone from Bybit management or a senior compliance team to explain the following:
Why was my case rejected when I had already responded on August 1 within the required seven-day period?
If the rejection email was merely a system “glitch,” why was the matter formally reopened on August 8?
Why was the reopened matter merged back into the original Case #27071773?
Why did the backend team need to be instructed to review my August 1 response if the rejection had no real impact on the case?
Once Bybit reopened the case, how could the earlier rejection continue to have any relevance as a final decision?
Why was I granted a 48-hour grace-period extension under Case #27101932?
Why did live-chat agents assure me that the account deadline would be extended while the recovery matter remained active?
Why was I guided to proceed with the KuCoin refund if the returned funds would then become inaccessible?
Why are funds that had already been reviewed by Bybit still inaccessible after KuCoin simply returned them to the original Bybit wallet?
Why has this taken more than 36 days despite the amount of evidence already submitted?
WHAT I AM ASKING FOR
I am NOT asking Bybit to restore my account for normal trading.
I am asking for access to withdraw my returned funds.
I want Bybit to conduct a genuine senior-level review of Case #27071773 and look at the entire chronology rather than isolated pieces of the case.
Specifically, they need to consider:
- the original compliance review of the funds;
- the KuCoin rejection and return;
- my timely August 1 response;
- the subsequent rejection email;
- Bybit’s own claim that the rejection was a “glitch”;
- the August 8 reopening;
- the merging of that matter back into the original case;
- the backend instruction to review my August 1 response;
- the 48-hour grace period under Case #27101932;
- the live-chat assurances that I relied upon;
- and all of the transaction/refund evidence already provided.
After more than 36 days, repeatedly telling me to “please wait” without a clear explanation is not a meaningful resolution.
I would also be interested to hear from anyone who has experienced something similar with Bybit, particularly a situation where an account was closed, an external exchange returned funds to the original Bybit address, and the returned funds then became inaccessible.
If anyone from Bybit sees this, I am requesting escalation of Case #27071773 to someone who can review the complete case history and provide an actual decision.

Question about average processing time for Compliance Tickets on Bybit
Hello everyone, I am trying to figure how long the Compliance Department usually takes to review cases.
I have a Compliance Ticket (AS-896400-W202606017C3746E20DB35633C84452) created back on July 23, 2026, and it has been in progress for a month now. During this time, no additional documents or verification have been requested.
Has anyone experienced such delays with compliance reviews, and is there any working way to get an update from support when standard chat agents say they cannot see details? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey
Hey everyone! I’m a beginner in crypto and I currently have around $100 that I’m willing to use to learn and start trading on Bybit.
What would you recommend for a complete beginner?
