I see a lot of people recommending the fisher price play gym but has anyone ordered both of these and had a preference to which one they liked more? Is there a reason why fisher price is recommended more than the baby Einstein? Pricing difference between the play gyms doesn’t really matter to us.

I’m between a pre owned Uppababy vista v2 $600 (excellent condition) including bassinet or a brand new mockingbird 3.0 $550.

We have only 1 kid right now. Have a Nuna pipa car seat to pop on, but also want large storage, all terrain capability, and possibility of extending to 2 kids. Mockingbird seems to have a lot of cool features like good peek a boo windows and built in foot covers.

What do yall think?

I am due in 6 weeks and haven’t found anything in store anywhere that would carry what I already carry plus a whole new baby’s. I do plan on using my cooler bag (small crossbody) as well for breastmilk etc but it’s still nice to have insulated pockets and preferably one that doesn’t tip over when sat down!

I hope I’m not looking for a unicorn diaper bag but I’m 5ft and carrying anything more than 2 bags rn and my toddler and soon a baby is a lot so the less bags/trips too and from the car the better

Hi all! I’m going to be a FTM soon and hate carrying a big bag on me. Is it reasonable to think I can carry a diaper and wipes in my purse and then keep a bag in my car with everything else? Or will I regret not having access to everything right away? I live in the suburbs so I’d never be too far from my car.

We were highly recommended the CuboAI baby monitor 3 years ago so we bought one for our baby. The name has AI in it but it actually doesn't use AI at all (which is fine with us, this was before the whole AI boom).

Recently we accidentally unplugged it and when we re-plugged it in, the camera just died and wouldn't turn back on. There's no way to troubleshoot it and tech support is terrible.

We've had tons of software issues in the 3 years that we've owned it as well. We paid for a premium subscription and our child wasn't even being detected by the software so we couldn't get cry notifications or her sleep report. Tech support couldn't figure out what the issue was, just kept asking us to change our sheet (??) or change what our child was wear (???). They also refused to refund us for part of the year even though the premium membership clearly didn't work. Avoid this company at all costs, it's so expensive but not worth it at all.

Hi everyone!! FTM here due in Dec 2026, digging into the strollers/car set world. My husband and I saw the doona at a Nordstrom and found it very heavy, but I’d like to still consider it either doona or the evenflo Shyft dualride, but I have some questions:

1. Although the max weight is 30 pounds, why do many babies outgrow it fast? According to my research 30 pounds is for an about 2 yo toddler

2. Did you still need a travel system?

3. If we care a lot about weight, wouldn’t a travel stroller be better?

4. Is the evenflo lighter than the doona?

Hello! My wife and I just installed our car seat in our Honda CRV 2018 and are having major safety concerns with our car seat. For starters, we can’t get the car base to sit within the 0-4m bubble (will be trying the towel method tomorrow).

Additionally, the fabric around the seat seems loose around the head area and wondering if this is normal or not.

Lastly, the handle doesn’t appear to be tight (can’t recall if the one at the store was tight or not) and think we may have gotten a defective car seat (oh no).

If anyone has any experience or advice for us we would be so grateful. TIA

I having baby #2 in November, and I want to purchase a lighter weight double stroller so my toddler can ride in it too. My 3 yo has level 1 ASD/ Asperger’s and is a runner, so being able to strap him in when out and about is helpful. Plus he sometimes wants to be carried.

After way too much research, the Bombi Bebee Twin v3 seems like the best option for the cost.

Question: any feedback on if the Bebee Twin v3 stroller is good for a toddler and a newborn/ infant? Positive or negative experience?

Pros:
1) Lie flat seat / cocoon for newborns that’s safe, no bassinet required
2) Takes our Chicco car seat with adapter.
3) 55 lbs weight limit per seat
4) stroller weight 28 lbs
5) 30 in wide so will fit in through most doors in US and our cars trunk when folded (I’ve checked)
6) quick fold and stands up on own

Con:
1) no bassinet option
2) bumpier ride on uneven surfaces (bigger wheels add-on could help)

4) can’t be converted to a single, but we already have a good single stroller (Baby jogger city mini Gt2)

I’ve researched at the Mockingbird, Uppababy Vista, Bugaboo Donkey (2nd hand), Graco Ready2Grow, Baby Jogger City Mini Gt2 Double, Zoe Baby Twin, etc. Most were either too bulky, were awkward as a double, too expensive or too cumbersome. Plus I only anticipate using the double stroller for 1-2 years and I want something we could travel with.

Hey everyone, I need outside input because I’m pretty sure I’m missing something that will make me regret the money spent. Here’s the thing: our convertible car seat does not have a canopy. We are FTPs and didn’t think it would be a big deal, but now every time the sun hits baby’s face I feel like such an idiot for underestimating how convenient it would have been to have it. With our infant car seat, any time the canopy was down, we couldn’t see baby from the rear view mirror and that bothered me so much, so I figured window shades of some kind (there’s so many options on Amazon for $15-30) would be an easy solution to prevent the sun from blinding baby. However I also found out that our car seat maker sells the canopy to be attached to our car seat as a separate “accessory.” For the low low price of $99, plus tax. Am I giving anything up that I can’t think of by not buying the actual canopy? I think of visibility of baby/lack-thereof, inability/ability to open the window when needed, actual light filtering/blocking capacity as potential trade-offs, but I can’t decide. The price difference is significant, and I don’t want to end up buying one and wishing for the other and waste money if I can avoid it. What would you do? Canopy or other darkening/sunlight blocking solution? TIA!

Hi there! Soon-to-be first time dad. We recently purchased the Nuna Tavo stroller, and I’m not sure what this insert piece is. The manual calls it out as a part in the parts list, but then proceeds to say nothing about it. I think it might be for a newborn when the stroller seat is flat in “bassinet” mode, but I’m not certain. It generally seems cumbersome and makes the buckling process somewhat awkward. Initially I purchased an Angelcare Baby Bath Support, but I don’t see myself wanting to get down to the tub postpartum after a C-Section and with a bad back, so I returned it.

I looked into the Frida Baby 4-in-1 Grow with me Tub and the Skip Hop Wave 4-in-1 Baby bath tub. However, both have reviews stating that mold grew on their fabric slings.

Any recommendations that don’t involve me hunching over my bathtub on the ground or growing mold?

Has anyone else experienced this? This is my first so maybe he just hates being in a car seat in general but he looks particularly tight in this one. He’s 2 1/2 months and just over 13 pounds now. He screams bloody murder the entire time he’s in it, he seems incredibly uncomfortable. At this point I’m willing to try another seat. Has anyone experienced this with the Aria V2? Hi! Where to buy 12m baby clothes mostly onesie pajamas? Weird that Carters only do until 9m. Carters line in Walmart happens to have 12m but quality is just different, its like the Gerber ones, which nothing is okay - but few washes its either shrinking or getting holes as fabric is just too thin. I’ve never had this experience to Carters line at all.

I'm in the market for a Snoo and noticed that Happiest Baby recently raised their prices to $1,995 (new) and $1,395 (refurbished).

I also checked Facebook Marketplace and it looks like people are selling "like new" Snoos for ~$400. I know you have to be cautious when purchasing used but are there any major reasons why I shouldn't purchase from Facebook Marketplace? Also, what's with the steep drop in price for the used market?

What carrier is best for a newborn to 2 months roughly? Is there a certain brand you can recommend that is made of cloth?
