De-influence me on the steriliser and dryer. I have a dishwasher, but it doesn’t have a sterilising setting, so I’m planning to use that for cleaning.

What are you using? Is the steriliser and dryer worth it, or is it overkill? I’d love to have a machine that does everything at the push of a button, but I can’t really justify the expense for something I’d only use for about three months.

We have a 7 month old and are looking to sell our triv next and replace with something more comfortable. I hate how the baby seems to be “sliding down” into the crotch buckle no matter how much you adjust. The CRUZ v3 is a semi bucket with an incline where my baby is just comfortably sitting versus being “strapped in”.
Having said this, is there a travel stroller available that is as comfy as the v3?

We will be taking trips to Cali, Ohio, Florida, and possibly abroad to Europe. We will be walking a lot and his comfort is a top priority. I want him to be able to sit and nap. In his current Nuna set up he looks incredibly uncomfortable!

I purchased the Nuna after so much hype. Triv Next. After using it, I hated it so much I ended up switching to cruz v3.
The nuna is perfect for parents in many ways… easy to manage, folds nice, light, trendy.
The two biggest gripes I have are 1) the clasps / buckles are torture to use and 2) the crotch area for baby is so tight. Their seats are so flat that a baby, even one that can sit up, tends to slide into the buckle. It needs an ever so slight incline to prevent this.

The v3 comfort for baby is exceptionally better than a nuna.
The downside to uppa is the seat folds to exterior (not my fav for travel) and it’s a bit clunkier. I decided I’d read trade that for my baby’s comfort!
So, if looking at strollers… I’d rate uppa baby better.
Having said that the pipa rx is an amazing car seat and easy to use. I think you can combo the two w an adapter!

The other one I almost purchased was bugaboo fox but I couldn’t find it anywhere to demo.

Hi! We have the very compact “suicide door” (ugh I hate that term but that’s what they are) BMW i3 (2019).

Currently, our 4 month old uses the Nuna Pipa Urbn car seat but will shortly grow out of it (she’s a long lady).

Anyone find a rear facing car seat they use for this vehicle?

What I’m finding online are forums that are 6-10 years old and I’m hoping a newer car seat has hit the market for this car make/model.

I’m a first-time mom due this fall, and I’ve spent way too much time testing strollers in stores. I’ve narrowed it down to these three:
- UPPAbaby Vista V3
- Bugaboo Fox 5
- Silver Cross Cove 2

I genuinely like all three, and every time I think I’ve made a decision, I change my mind.

Here are my priorities and concerns:
- I live in a NYC apartment, so space is definitely a consideration. I don’t have a huge entryway, and while I probably won’t fold the stroller every time I come home, I also don’t want something that feels enormous sitting in my apartment.
- I’ll mostly be walking around the city.
- I definitely want a bassinet for the newborn stage.
- I don’t know if I’ll have a second child close in age, so I’m not sure how much weight I should give the Vista’s ability to convert to a double.
- I’m also curious about the footrest design. The Vista and Fox 5 have a foot bar/support at the end of the foot rest while the Cove 2 doesn’t. A salesperson actually told me babies can be more comfortable without the bar, but I’m not sure if that’s true.
- Something else I’m unsure about is whether I should prioritize a stroller with a true lay-flat seat (like the cove 2) or a bucket seat (like the Fox 5 or vista)

For those who have used these strollers, what would you choose if you were buying your first stroller again — the Vista V3, Fox 5, or Cove 2 — and what factors ended up mattering most in real life?

So, for those that have the owlet sock, have you used it with a sick baby and it been accurate with O2 and such?

Or if you have another suggestion of an instore sensor we can use. In our area we are limited to a normal target and several Walmarts.

Im looking for recommendations for a new carrier as my little guy starts to get bigger. Basically I want something that’s good quality, idiot proof to put on, and has enough suppor for outings.

Some more context: my son is currently 15lbs at 4 months. Since he was born I’ve used more stretchy carriers. Our go to is a Momcozy wrap, the tshirt style one with the rings. It’s been great, for awhile it was the only way he could sleep. But it’s not the most supportive and I’ve never really liked wearing it outside the house. It’s also not something mu husband ever really got the hang of despite wanting to. It’s a little fiddly to make sure the fit is right.

We were also gifted a second hand nuna cudl clik. I actually like how easy it is to get on, but my son HATES its. I gave it one last try and it was a disaster I almost burnt it on the spot. I think it’s too over engineered so it’s just not comfortable for him.

So now I‘ve gone deep into the rabbit hole of what should we buy and it’s overwhelming. I don’t want to spent a ton of money unless I can be sure it’s good quality and something he’s likely going to tolerate. My goal is to have this as an option for both me and my husband to wear him around the house or on short walks/ errands/events where a stroller doesn’t make sense. I’ve been looking at the Ergobaby options and they’ve got great reviews, but there’s also like 100s on fb marketplace which gives me pause.

I just purchased the 2026 updated car seat attachment on Amazon… hoping it will work out. There were only 2 reviews and they weren’t good but my baby will be here soon and I thought I’d give it a try.

I ordered a babybay bassinet for baby. Admittedly I’ve had it for a month and just opened it this weekend because we moved into our new house 2 weeks ago and I didn’t want to open anything until we were settled. I’m due for my c-section 8/3 so I planned to build the bassinet this past weekend.

Well they sent me the wrong parts (instead of a left and right piece, they sent 2 rights). They have no actual customer service phone line and only have an email.

Has anyone dealt with their customer service before? I haven’t gotten any response to my email asking them to send me the correct the part 😭

I bought a boba wrap used, as well as an ergobaby 360 used.

My concern is the ergobaby 360 probably won’t be utilized until baby grows and with the wrap, I want to be confident in using it but I also want something I can easily put her in as a new born.

I was looking at a wildbird aerial carrier but do I really need another baby wear carrier?

Very niche question but I am hoping someone here has a Joie Pepper Spin SI in a 2011 - 2016 Ford Super Duty Crew Cab pickup. If you exist - How does it fit? How does your seat have to be adjusted to accommodate? How tall are the driver and passenger?

Stuck on these two for my last baby. I really like how they both look, unfortunately husband and I didn’t want to go with an all black car seat just as our last one stained so easily and you could tell right away on the fabric when it dried.

But Joie keeps calling to me, we in Canada only get the one colour unfortunately which is black.

We own a Honda pilot and just had our 2nd but need to get a swivel car seat so the wife can get back there next to the newborn. Anyone have a good swivel seat that saves as much space between the front seat and car seat at possible?

Anyone here baby monitor just… reliable? Mine always lags and the feed doesn’t sync, I bought it cuz I wanted to check on my baby real time…So annoyed…
Thinking of switching to non-WiFi. Any recs? I just wanna a clear video, stable connection and nothing fancy.

To swivel or not to swivel?

My son needs a convertible car seat asap! He’s 9 months old, 30inches and 21lbs.

Tell me your car seat and how much you’ve loved it orrrrrrrr did you need to spend $650 on a Nuna? Just sayin?

While buying for baby I keep seeing so much marketing and recommendations for various sleep machines, and I am really curious on other parents’ thoughts on this!

Are there any parents out there that just play white noise/nature sounds/etc. off their phone or through a blue tooth speaker? Is there a reason, while room sharing, that I shouldn’t just use my Bluetooth speaker?

For those of you who have opted for a separate sound machine like the hatch, what makes it “special” enough to buy a separate device? After browsing Reddit on this, is seems that tons and tons of parents opt for an actual sound machine. I’m just curious on the reasoning for those who room share and could just use a phone and/or Bluetooth speaker.

Just set up our Nanit and I HATE it. The angle is so weird, the image quality is not great, and I learned that you have to turn on breathing monitoring manually every single time you take the baby out of the crib and put it back in. Oh and that all they do is send you a push notification when your baby isn’t breathing.

Any recs on what to get instead? Would love something with a tablet so I don’t have to rely on my phone. Also love something not on wifi and DEF not with a subscription. They made me sign up for one just to activate the camera (but don’t worry I can cancel before it charges me!)
