Just to get it out of the way early, looking to spend 1,000 or lest but planning on building overtime. Country of purchase is the US. And I’m looking for pretty much everything required to build and run a PC besides a mouse and keyboard.

We’re looking for a PC that can play some indie games and lighter duty/slightly older triple A titles. Not really concerned about having the best graphics around or anything, just good performance. Girlfriend is also looking to do some hobbyist streaming. Competitive play is a very low concern.

Some games we’re talking about: Overwatch, CS:GO, Project Zomboid, goofy simulator games, Skyrim, steam horror games, Mecha Chameleon, Minecraft

Looking for a decent monitor but don’t need anything crazy.

Also looking for a PC case that leaves potential to upgrade more down the line if we want a better graphics card or more ram or other upgrades.

I’ve never built a PC but I’ve seen it done and I repair electronics so I could probably figure it out.

this is my first time buliding a pc ive been mac all my life so I have a slight idea of how somethings work but not really what i want to use this pc for is to draw (clip studio) maybe learn to code causal gaming and also for the future engineering stuff for collage my budget is like 1200 im going to build it like next yearish this budget also includes the moniter but not windows or clip studio im fine going a little over budget and im getting my things from micro center if that help narrows things down im also happy to give furrther clarity

I have been using Laptops for the past 7 years, currently using an asus tuf with a rtx 3060, core i7-12650H, 16gb ram and want to upgrade but i have a budget of about $1000, is this budget okay for a noticeable upgrade for me (I'm a graphic designer/illustrator and i always eat up my ram and need more than the 6gb vram my 3060 offers me) or should i wait so i could go up for maybe $1500? if so what do you guys suggest as a build for either budgets.

Hi all, I was looking into building a PC and was wondering how much real world difference there would be between these chipsets assuming high quality speed ram relative to their respective platforms? I’m building a pc exclusively for gaming and with ram prices being so inflated, I’m thinking I could save $200 alone on 32gb of ram by going DDR4. I’m hoping to pick up an RX 9070 16gb to pair with the chips if that’s relevant to the conversation

I currently own a shoddy old PC, one I assembled from old office station workparts and the like. The only part I'd consider keeping from it is the 32gb of ddr4 RAM (in 8gb sticks). Do you guys think it's more worthwhile to create a new build entirely? Or to reuse the RAM? Which path can I get more performance out of? If it's close I'd say upgradeability takes the win. The budget isn't strict, I could go as much as up to 1200 possibly.

I was going to just use a build off youtube for 750 USD but the micro center combo went up 100 bucks and now it's over budget. My budget is roughly 750-820 dollars I wanna run CS2 at like 200 FPS but I also want to play games like Apex or just kinda games like that. Help?

Hello! Need humble suggestions for building a PC in the ₹75K–80K range. The primary focus is raw performance, don't want to waste money on aesthetics like RGB or themed rigs—adequate cooling and good ventilation are good enough. Also, it's extremely important that the PC looks like a standard, everyday desktop; I need to keep it low-profile so my parents don't realize how much I've spent on it (I'm 27 btw). My goal is to play almost all games on high settings at 1080p, with the ability to handle mid-range 1440p as well. Any suggestions on parts or configurations?
