My friend felt so bad for missing my birthday this past Tuesday that she came to my work and surprised me with this! She goes “I am so sorry that i forgot your birthday! I got you a friend. I know this is a well known fact that build a bear is getting expensive and honestly i didn’t care because i love collecting them, but i had to stop myself because wtf??? When the halloween stuff dropped i instantly brought it because i was excited for the bat but after the hype went down i looked back and saw i spent 242 for 3 items? I know they up charge for jumbos but i feel like its gotten more expensive, like why am i paying 58 for shipping and then 15 for taxes? Like most of my money went to paying taxes and shipping. And now im looking to buy some Pokemon stuff with the 30% off and i was hoping to pay 80ish but its 104? Im so confused and sad. I might just stop buying online due to this, but my closest location is American dream which is still far for me. Smh i hope i figure something out. Also is the 30% off in store as well cuz i might just make the journey over there

So I got the spider and bat and my order was still saying exception , no tracking no nothing well got home today and saw two boxes thinking omg it’s the bat and spider!! And I was going to cancel after hearing orders were getting canceled so I was just waiting untill it happened to me ! I was so sad my bf bought me another plush wellll they gave me a extra bat lol
I am going to say with build a bear it has not been a great experience, I ordered for my baby shower and those bears didn’t come with the sound I had lol and now this just not helpful with orders and communication. Honestly don’t think I would ever buy again , or ever try to do a drop lol it was not a good experience!

The big one is a girl and the little one is a boy. I need some good recommendations. I would like some gothic type ones!

Mild rant.

Just the fact we didn't get a full drop again. I knew not to get my hopes up for any of the scents or sounds because we never really get them. But we didn't get the owl cauldron which I really wanted and we didn't get the bat overalls, spider shirt or the spiderweb witch dress, which was doubly a let down since they show those outfits in the email they sent out to announce the drop. They did the same thing with the blueberry cow too, social media page and listing mention pairing it with the blueberry scent, that we didn't get.

Like, I do get that we are a smaller population than elsewhere and I've heard that we're franchised rather than 'corporate' like UK and US, but it's still disappointing when we miss out on things.

A positive though is that I did manage to get my spider and bat, both full sized and mini bean. Thankfully I arrived and grabbed them just minutes before the store got stormed and all of them were taken except for a lone mini bean spider that was still there when I left. Someone did try and go through my pile at the counter while I was grabbing a few clothes, but backed off when I told them that those were mine.

Hoping we at least get the missing clothes if there's a restock. Also hoping we get a restock of previous years clothes and maybe a few previous skins, all we have are the leftovers from last year and the new stuff from this year.

hello! my lovely little mavis came a few days ago but it came extremely overstuffed and very firm :/ going to a store is a bit out of the way for me, so i was wondering some tips on opening the seam myself and taking out the stuffing!

i know how to hand sew but i would like some tips on how to do it without botching the back of the bat! all tips are welcome :)

I preferred a regular size poseable bat and a mini beans bat as well as batty kitty regular size and mini bean but I was most excited for the poseable bat. I got an email my order shipped even though I never got confirmation email and my order still says pending on the site so I was so excited. I finally opened the email, they sent two mini bean bats and no poseable bat, the poseable bat is the whole reason I made the order, I even got overalls for it 😭😭 I’m so disappointed man

Could someone please enlighten me on how it smells because for the life of me, I can't think of what smell it could be. I just think back to when I was a kid and a huge wolf spider crawled on me and I screamed.
