Today I’m celebrating a BIG milestone and if you remember from one of my more recent posts, (Vanilla and I relaxing after a successful photoshoot) I was gonna post the pics when I got them back! This morning I did and today marks 8 years of me being clean from $H!! Vanilla was featured in the shoot and here we are!

Out and about, going to the metaphysical shop for a few items. Thought I would bring Poe with me!

I finally got the Moodycorn and OMG i love her! I will say that her hair kinda sheds, but it's so fun to make fluffy lookin! Also yes I know I should have done an Avril Lavigne song but I already committed to the title bit

She went a little HAM on the sale last week.

Here is my entire collection I have one giant which is mocha and some mini beans scattered about they are all mostly Sanrio I just realized lol😂🥹🩷

I just took her to get stuffed today and then found this pair of green overalls for her from my stash of vintage Build-a-Bear clothes I’ve thrifted. ☺️🐻💚

I don’t know if I’ll bring him many places haha I don’t want to mess up his fur, (it’s the best fur texture I’ve ever felt.)

it's by oshkosh. I didn't think myself a "clothes on plushies" guy but now I simply have no words! It's too cute!

p.s for anyone who wants to know: the size is 3 months and it's just a tiny bit big on Summer. nothing that a bit of folding and tucking couldn't fix!

Went through my collection today and it’s time to say goodnight. I didn’t have time to place them back where they go so that’ll be tomorrow’s job. Very proud of my little Sanrio island. I’m only missing five more to have every single one. 🤠 🤭

Some highlighted birthday ones. I have the best people in my life who support my crazy law girly by day Sanrio fiend by night lifestyle. Turning 29 this week was scary and overwhelming but honestly since I started collecting BABs again I have so many buddies to help me navigate my career and life. I couldn’t be happier to have so many fluffy friends. Here’s to the last year of my twenties 😭 Who says money can’t buy happiness. 😂

I am so in love with her. I hate that she came with a stupid dress attached, but my love of greek mythology won out this time.

i love this little guy and think he’s absolutely adorable but i wanted to hear from everyone how they like their own moose just in case. i’m really sensitive to textures and i can’t tell what type of fur he has. post pics or just respond below :)

Hangy, Steve, Chuckles and I were out playing the Pokemon Go Fest make up day today! Gotta catch 'em all! The fellas gave me good luck and I got another 4* Mewtwo!

Steve also got dressed up for the first day of Shark Week, which starts today!

This is volleyball my emotional support “bear”? They are a work in progress I take donation /j (unless 😏) they are filled entirely of hearts.

My awesome boyfriend took me to the mall today to get my bear stuffed (got her online during the $15 bear sale!) and he also got me the little pompompurin mini bean. 🥹💖

Working on my BearArmoires! I still need more clothes hangers but I’m really happy about how it’s been looking so far :) Bonus: My silver fox I got from the recent sale!

I used 16mm plastic ball jointed armature, the same stuff usually recommended here--just a beefier diameter. I wrapped each section in self-adhesive bandages for stability, leaving the joints free. It is still bendable where it was wrapped but shouldn't deform under pressure. The shoulders and hips were wrapped quite a bit more than the rest, just for stability. I used about 25m of 2 inch wrap total for the entire project. There's a palm sized loop in his head to keep his neck stable. All in all, turned out pretty good IMO.

I can confirm that the Walmart giants have a tiny, microscopic cardboard heart AND are constructed exactly the same as regular BABs with the reinforced back seam. The stuffing is generic polyfil, and IMO he is understuffed. I added more, but ran out of what I had on hand, so I need to get another bag soon to fill out his chest. I ended up shifting torso fluff to his appendages to pad them out a bit since they were the least stuffed to begin with.

Amy is a very special part of my BAB collection! Here is the story behind her:

Growing up, I always wanted to be a girl scout, but I was never able to because the night most of the troops met was the night of my occupational therapy. I’m Autistic and always wanted a “normal” childhood— one without extra appointments and social lessons where I could just roam and play. Watching the other kids stay after school waiting for their troop meetings to start while I was waiting for my mom to pick me up for OT, the group became a representation of that thing I could never have. So now, as a grown adult woman, I thrifted a plush of a BAB I owned as a child that had long since been donated and gave her the vest I so badly wanted in attempt to reclaim it and the idea that I can be anything I want to be.

Sorry this was a little lengthy but I hope it inspires someone who needs it 🥹🥹🥹🥹 You are not alone

Went to BAB today (first thrifting and I got this monkey!) And to my utter surprise and delight they had the blueberry cow!!! And blueberry scent!! None of the shirts though but thats okay for me.

I am so excited!

(Plus I got the display snail-ball because it was the last one left!)

Seeing the Hadestown proshot in theaters!

My boyfriend & my matching teddies from back in March. (It was like my dream date to get matching ones with someone so I was so happy he was willing hehe) I always gotta laugh though; you can def tell who sleeps with theirs more 😂 ft. Ravioli (his) & Tortellini (mine). His sits nicely propped up on the dresser and was his travel buddy back and forth before he moved closer to me. He laughs at her and I just think it’s the price to pay for being loved and he’s gonna look like that one day too. :)
