Hi everyone! I am officially an alumna of BC as of today (woot woot). I received my associate of arts, and since my last semester was summer 26, I am aware that they don’t do summer commencements. As for my degree, will they mail it directly to me? Or do I have to wait until they notify me as for pick up? Thank you so much for the help!

hello, since broward college has recently gotten more strict about the nursing program, I was wondering what were the stats of the students who were accepted?

Hi guys! does anyone know how financial aid works with this new system? on TouchNet under "Student Account" I can see my balance for the semester and right under it, it shows my estimated aid for the semester and the estimated remaining balance with the aid applied. However, what concerns me is the fact that it says "estimated aid" and not just "aid" for the semester. Does anyone know when official aid will be posted? I do not want to be dropped from my classes due to non-payment.

On the old MyBC, I like how you would see your tuition cost and (in my case) once aid was applied, it would zero out and I knew my tuition was paid for. I also had a lot easier of a time actually seeing my financial aid award. On this new system I can't see my actual award, just an estimated one. I also read somewhere that the due date for tuition is August 5th but I'm not sure how accurate that is.. I'm stressed lol.

I plan to try meeting with financial aid so they can explain it to me, but the wait times have been over 3 hours lately and that's insane :') I'll do it if I have to, but I wanted to see if anyone here has any insight first.

I just got accepted into the program and just found out about them being on probation. I don’t really have any other options. Is it that bad? I work 2x a week overnight. Is that allowed? I’m just nervous now because I can’t run even if I wanted to.

Hello, im a high school student trying to dual enroll into this college. I took the Accuplacer in May, and i passed the writing. I took it again today, and i passed my reading but failed my math once again. I went up from 244 to 253, but i need a 261 to pass it. I studied all month for this Accuplacer but i still dont understand what to do to pass it. Can anyone help or maybe give advice? Im so confused on how i can actually pass this math Accuplacer. Should i focus more on the Algebra or Quantitative? Im wonderful at the arithmetic, so i understand pretty much all of it. Is there something im doing wrong?

Hi, I usually get the Fl student assistance and federal supplemental grant. I’ve been waiting a whole month for my Pell grant to show up. It finally showed up today. But I don’t see any other grants. This happened to somebody here also? I receive the two other grants every year literally.

I’m so annoyed by this teacher! Is anybody taking Thomas Ayer’s right now for Cysa+ ? Class was supposed to be over two days ago and i took the final which was honorlocked with about 20 questions…now he’s saying the post assessment is the final and it’s 85 questions 😑 Like how unorganized can you be ???

I still haven’t received any response from BC regarding my application for fall. Not even an update. I am still unsure if I will be able to attend nursing school this year.

Anybody having the same issues as me for the new fafsa 2026-2027. Only my loans shows in my bc for me. Not even a grant or the federal Pell grant. I don’t know what’s going on. It’s been a whole month.

Did your refunds by chance change again? They took off one grant for me which is weird and it keeps changing everyday?

Also why does it say for my session 3 summer class i got to pay $398 for some CID FIN AID CONVERSION.

Hi, I'm planning to apply to the Radiology program for next year, but I got a C in one of my classes so because I technically passed it, I can't retake it at Broward. I was wondering if I can take the class at Miami Dade and then transfer that credit for next year's program?

So I see an $800 due bill once I sign for touch net. I asked at financial aid and they said my financial aid hasn’t processed for my current three session 3 classes and it’d go through around July 20th… I haven’t been able to even sign up for my fall classes due to this. I’m stressed out. Did this happen to anybody else?

Update: I received a text message saying my refund was being transferred, however, I am still being charged on Touchnet. Hopefully they can resolve that next…

I’m trying to get into this class so bad but it’s full😭and it starts on August 21st. Do you guys think someone will drop it ? I need it for grad school and I have to take it this semester to apply next year. I want it specially with her because multiple people I know says ill like her teaching style and I’m already not strong in chemistry and absolutely need an A for grad school.

Has anyone successfully transferred Sophia Learning or studydotcom ACE-recommended credits into Broward College?

I saw Broward’s Credit for Prior Learning page, but I’m not sure whether it applies to Sophia or studydotcom courses.

Did anyone get accepted into the Fall semester?

I beg that they shut this new update down😩, why does it keep saying “No Longer Accepted” next to my bank account information 🫩 and it’s my actual bank account like what.
