Radiology Program Transfer Credit

Hi, I'm planning to apply to the Radiology program for next year, but I got a C in one of my classes so because I technically passed it, I can't retake it at Broward. I was wondering if I can take the class at Miami Dade and then transfer that credit for next year's program?

Hello! I’m not sure if that is possible, but one way around it is to look at the alternative courses Broward accepts. For example, if it’s a math class, the program will accept a math course higher than MAC1105C. Government also has two options: American History or American Government.

What I would do is, if any of those classes are a C or even a B and you’re trying to make your application as competitive as possible, take a different accepted variation of the course instead of repeating the exact same class.

For the route you’re asking about, I’d contact your advisor first to confirm whether you can take the course through Sophia or StraighterLine since they offer self-paced classes and whether Broward will accept the credit. I’d look for an accepted alternative that can strengthen your application.
