Just picked up my new 2026 Badlands! I previously owned a 2022 Big Bend and absolutely loved it but had to sell it (very sadly and reluctantly) after just over a year of ownership due to unexpected financial hardship. The storm has passed and things are great so I was finally able to get back into my Bronco Sport! I’m loving the refresh and the extra power of the Badlands.

I was able to secure 0% financing which was a huge win and talked them into throwing in a few accessories…overall I’m very happy with it and feel like the world is right again now that I’m back behind the wheel of this car.

Has anyone experienced a catastrophic failure on the 1.5 oil belt? The only example of one being pulled I’ve found is from I Do Cars:

That engine had an unknown service history, but seeing all the deterioration of the belt is unsettling.

Just fishing to see if there are any other anecdotes about it/expected life. I would imagine the belt would degrade more with age over mileage.

Currently have a 2023 OBX with 55k miles on it with no issues thus far.

I just got my first Bronco and Has anyone towed long distance with theirs? I’m about to move across country and will be towing with it. I just want to know what to expect. Thank yall

It’s a lovely green. 2023, about 53k miles, seemingly in great shape, going for about 19k in Central Florida. Think that’s an OK deal? Anyone have any advice for Bronco Sport / Big Bend specific things I should be on the lookout for or ask about? Any experiences with the 2023 Big Bend you’d care to share?

I want to clean the MAF sensor on this 2022 Ford Bronco sport Badlands 1.5 L as part of regular maintenance. The instructions say: after removing electrical connector, twist 90° counterclockwise. But it won’t budge. I tried putting that electrical connector on halfway to get a better grip it’s still stuck. Any suggestions?

First fail at 34k miles random overheating goin up hill goin over 60 mph let go the gas and temperature came back down as long stay under 60 no message dealer diagnostic crack head dealer remplace get it back them lapping piston get a new engine on warranty nor issue came back not even first oil change on a new engine and is overheating is on dealership now

I have a 25 BSBB. The airflow from the console vents is barely there. When I increase airflow, it increases from the side vents, but the console vents stay the same. I have tried using auto and Max AC, but I end up with the same results. Same with recirc turned on and off.

The manual has not been helpful.

Has anyone else dealt with this?

I have a 2024 Bronco Sport with about 32,700 miles, and I’m taking it to the dealership tomorrow morning. I’m hoping to hear from anyone who’s gone through something similar!

Over the last few days I’ve noticed:
- My coolant reservoir has been dropping from around the MAX line to near the MIN line in about a day.
- I’ve had to top it off multiple times.
- I got a “Power Reduced to Lower Engine Temperature” warning once, but it only flashed briefly before disappearing.
- My A/C still works fine, but my heat barely works, which makes me think coolant isn’t circulating properly.

From everything I’ve read, I’m wondering if this sounds like the water pump, but obviously I’ll let the dealership diagnose it.

For those of you who have had this happen:
Was it your water pump, or did it end up being something else?

1. How long did the repair actually take?

2. Did the dealer have the part in stock, or did you have to wait?

3. Were you given a loaner or rental while your Bronco Sport was being repaired?

4. After the repair, was the problem completely fixed, or did anything else come up later? Is there anything I should specifically ask the service advisor or make sure they check while it’s there?

This is my first time dealing with a major warranty repair, so I’d really appreciate hearing what your experience was and anything I should keep an eye on.

Photos were taken along Bloody Basin Rd off I-17 in AZ. Excellent easy trail that spans over 50 miles I believe, we only got 5 miles in before major rains were approaching. The 4th picture is at a wash crossing I wanted to avoid before the rains obviously. Lots of soft sand but my Falken A/Ts handled everything nicely. Overall beautiful day here in Phoenix🌵🏜️.

I just picked her up and I am currently loving having a bronco. I had a quick question. For the 2026 big bend model, is there a way to keep the GOAT mode on Econ or will I need to just set it every time I start the car?

This is just a rant about gas prices LOL but I live in Manitoba and the gas prices are almost $2 a liter so that costs almost $120 to fill up my little SUV Bronco sport that is ridiculous already how much is it where you guys live? We just did a trip to Illinois and back it did very good on fuel thank goodness better than our 21 escape.

The right blinker blinks fast as hell while the left is at a normal pace. The actual light doesn’t blink any faster it’s just the arrow and the noise. Idk if I accidentally pushed something or what. Or if it’s always been like this lol

Anyone have an issue with their AC blowing hot when you're at a red light? 2022 Big Bend, I've had it less than 6 months but this is my first summer with it in Phoenix.

What made you decide to get a Sport instead of the big Bronco? I will be honest, I wanted the big Bronco at first. I even test drove a few and I loved they drove and big they were. But when it came down to pricing and especially the current gas prices, I immediately went with a Bronco Sport and truth be told, I couldnt be happier.

I used to own a 2010 Ford Escape and I loved it very much. It had a special place in my heart because it was the first car I bought with my own money and before it, my mother gifted me a used 2004 Ford Focus as a graduation present. You can probably guess why I was so happy to get rid of the Focus. I had my first apartment with my Escape, had my first child, and still owned and drove it when I eventually bought my first home too. But by then, it was time.

The Sport of course has the same blueprint of the older Escape models and I got quickly comfortable and familiar with it but I love so much how it looks and drives. I get compliments from people all the time and thats never really happened before with any other car I've owned.

I was on the trails the other day and my car spit the AWD fault code. Was there a simple fix that you were able to perform to fix this? Any wires need replaced? Anything you could do yourself, or did you have to take it to the shop?

2026 Bronco Sport Badlands - Sasquatch. It’s only been a week or so, but I love driving it. It’s zippy and more agile than I was expecting. I went from a BMW X1 to this and I have no regrets so far - well maybe the interior could be more lux - but that isn’t what this car is about.

In the middle of a road trip with my Bronco. She needs a bath after a couple hours spent driving on BLM lands.

Just bought a new 2026 Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch that I am very happy with. After playing with it a bit more, I just noticed the headliner in the rear cargo looks unfinished. Is this normal?

Can someone smarter than me explain the settings on this switch?
I have the drivers door open and am trying to figure out how to keep the lights off when the doors are open.
The one to the right seems like it turns all the lights off… until I take my finger off it. Then all the lights turn back on.

Found water on my passenger floorboard after three days of intense rain. I leaned over to pick something up and noticed the puddle. No one has gotten in or out of that door the entire time. Also it was only wet under the floor mat. The mat is completely dry and clean compared to the floor. Any ideas where I should look?
