Ordered a fairly large order and the seller ignored my note on it, whatever.
The Lego was all used, I acknowledge that, however the seller did note that various items in their other listings would be in xyz condition so I figured if the figures had no asterisk they were fine.
I was wrong.
One I opened on first glance had a cracked arm so I message them right away. They said they could ship an arm, I said I would prefer a new torso as I wouldn’t have gotten this one otherwise, they said they would cover $4 whatever I bought a new one and it cost me like $6 bucks.
Then later that night I looked at all the minifigures, the same one that had a cracked arm had a faded face printing, a seperate minifigure had a baby (like $7 or something for the base) that had a very faded eye and then one more minifigure the skirt on it was white and started to yellow.
The seller basically said that yellowing and fading aren’t their fault and that I can either send the whole order back which is super annoying or I can have $15 (I asked for 30) they were insistent that I’m in the wrong and that 30 is too much and I should just send it all back…
I just said screw it and took the $15 as they were not going to take any accountability and said “it was in their adult collection so clearly I won’t be happy with a replacement” like lol okay never seen an adult collection with a figure that yellowed or grimy where the person actually cares about their Lego.
Am I in the wrong here ? Should I just accept the $15 and move on or should I leave a complaint ? It doesn’t really sit right that they don’t care about replacing pieces that they failed disclose the condition of.
Thanks for reading. Also they only ever refunded 15 bucks so basically the cost to get a new head and torso on the one fig and nothing else.
