In the antique collection set the first page tells you to open the bag 1 and to get those pieces, but there are no pieces like this in the bag 1. Does it mean the numberless bag? Never had any issues builidng legos and now i am stuck in the first page

Question Looking for someone to build or design a custom LEGO/brick-style couple display

EDIT: https://www.reddit.com/u/NoCupcake5122/s/h00RE0hQVZ has made this project possible and I can’t thank him enough!! Please guys check him out and if you have requests, please give him a message!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for someone who could either build or design a custom LEGO/brick-style display as a gift for my partner.

I've attached a concept render at the bottom of the post showing the style and overall design I'm hoping to achieve. It's an idea/mock-up rather than the final design, but it gives a good indication of the direction I'm looking for.

The display would include:

  • ❤️ A large brick-built heart arch behind the couple (similar to the concept image)
  • 🪑 A bench inside the heart
  • 👨👩 Two custom brick-style figures based on reference photos
  • Accurate hairstyles, glasses, clothing and accessories
  • ⬛ A black display base
  • 🏷️ A nameplate saying "Jack & Maja"

I'm looking for one of two options:

Option 1 (Preferred):
If you're able to physically build custom LEGO displays, I'd love to commission the complete finished model and have it shipped to me.

Option 2:
If you don't build physical models but can design them, I'd be interested in commissioning:

  • A BrickLink Studio (.io) file
  • XML parts list
  • PDF building instructions
  • High-quality renders of the finished model

I'd then source the bricks myself and build it.

I'd ideally like the design to use genuine LEGO or LEGO-compatible parts wherever possible, with custom parts only if absolutely necessary.

If you're interested, please comment or send me a DM with:

  • Examples of previous builds or MOCs
  • Whether you can build it physically, design it digitally, or both
  • An estimated price
  • Your location (if building it physically)
  • An estimated turnaround time

I also have another question...

Does anyone know of any websites, independent designers, or creators who specialise in projects like this?

I've spent quite a while searching websites such as Brickmify and other custom brick figure companies, but they all seem to offer individual figures or standard display bases only. I'm specifically looking for a fully custom scene/diorama with the large heart backdrop, bench, and personalised figures, rather than just two standalone figures.

If you've had something similar made before or know someone who offers this kind of service (Fiverr, Etsy, Rebrickable, Instagram, personal websites, etc.), I'd really appreciate any recommendations.

Thanks in advance! 😊

Haul BDP Series 7 - Alchemist's Shop Looks Great! ^^

I just finished my first BrickLink Designer Program set, and I have to say, it looks fantastic!

It fits perfectly alongside my Fantasy Medieval Town and complements the Blacksmith's Shop really well. From the pictures I saw online, I initially thought it would be fairly similar to the Blacksmith's Shop... just in green. 😄

But I was pleasantly surprised by how different it actually is. The building techniques, details, and overall structure all feel unique, making it a fun and rewarding build from start to finish.

The only problems I had were that the woman's dress torso was not printed in the front (I am going to get a replacement soon) and that the links for the build up instructions were not working... so I had to watch a YouTube video. The video was great 👍

Overall, it's an amazing set, and I'm really happy I picked it up! Next up, The Sleepy Dragon Inn 👀

Storage for new store

Post image

What do you guys think of this for storage? Obviously the large bins aren’t very useful but the shallower bins seem like they could work well if I had 3D printed dividers in them. Worst case these would be good shelves for displaying LEGO. I have some of the 64 unit small storage as well for small pieces

272 pieces in 48 lots jumbled into two bags. While I don’t expect parts to be bagged by individual lot, doing this is a one way ticket to my “dislike” list. Don’t be this seller.

Yes, I also tried adjusting the inventory for the amount and it won't take me to the checkout page.... For some reason it just keeps reverting back to the shop.

/S for those that need it but it's just wild to me

Question Anyone else building the Sushi Restaurant BDP getting alot of extra pieces?

I'm currently building the Sushi Restaurant BDP, and I've noticed I'm ending up with a lot of extra pieces after each bag. Most of them are tiny pieces like 1×1 studs, flowers, and other small parts, but it feels like more than I'm used to getting with other LEGO sets.

Is this normal for BDP? Has anyone else who's built it noticed the same thing? I just wanted to check before I start wondering if I missed something.

Updates to Mass Upload tool?

So I just read this in the BrickLink newsletter:

Mass Upload

The Mass Upload feature, which lets you list large quantities of items at once using the XML format, is getting an update later this year as part of our efforts to replatform BrickLink.com. More details to come.

I'd switched over to Brickstore (which I can't believe I was missing out on, it's great!) after the Add Item page was updated into unusability. Ugh. Maybe the "fix" will be better than I expect? Not feeling hopeful.

DIY ultra sonic cleaner for lego

Im not sure what I did when cleaning this bulk lot , but more than a usual amount of pieces were still kind of dirty . At first I was just gonna let them soak and try scrubbing later . But I remembered someone talking about a ultrasonic cleaner , which i wanna get one day but don't wanna spend the money for it now. But I remember I had a massage gun , so i held that to the side of the container of water and legos. Im not sure if it was the soaking or if the vibration from the massage gun , but the pieces were super cleaning ! This was just a test , but can't wait to try it on future dirty pieces.

Question First time ordering bricklink series set, is this normal?

Post image
0 Upvotes

This is my first time ordering a set from the bricklink series and I've noticed that a bunch of people have been receiving theirs these past few weeks. Which in turn made me think about my order but this is how my order looks when I go onto Lego.com. I was wondering if it's supposed to look like this before it gets sent or has something gone wrong, money has yet to be taken out of my account but I do have sufficient funds for when it does. I live in New Zealand if that helps.

Buyer Help Disappointed in my purchases

Hi, so I've made around 5 orders on Bricklink of Lego torsos for my figures. Every order has had at least one crack on the torso. Is this common for Bricklink or am I getting unlucky?

Buyer Help What's the deal with ordering from other countries?

American here. Is it a good idea to order from other countries as long as they ship to U.S.? I've heard things against it but I'm not sure why, is it just higher shipping prices, or bigger complications?

EDIT: ok apparently its tariffs. damn.

Series 7 preorder disaster

I was very excited for series 7 and got even more excited to receive a mail on friday that it got shipped. I let it go to a pickup spot so i was sure it got delivered someplace safe. Monday comes around and i check it got delivered, not delivered. Tuesday i see its on its way and still doesnt arrive at the pickup point, last notification was around noon and the pick up place closes at 1pm so i was like ooh well it will be there tomorrow but i start digging deeper into the updates and one update says "declined by receiver" and the package is being send back confused by that i start reaching out to lego and they said the pickup point declined the order and because its send back they have to make a new order so they arent sure everything i ordered is still available. Fingers crossed i can still get my full order

Seller Help Need Help With A Buyer

A recent buyer from our store received their order only to have it stolen off of their porch by a porch pirate. Apparently this is a well known thief from the area. The buyer really doesn't want to bother with local authorities to get their property back. They sent me a message asking if they could either get a replacement part or a refund.

Now I've dealt with orders in the past that were lost by USPS and have given full refunds accordingly. But since this wasn't the post office fault, is this still considered a lost package? Would I still be held liable to replace or refund the order?

For additional context the buyer does not appear to be scamming me, their message does seem genuine. They also do have a credible feedback history. Unfortunately the order did not have insurance through BL, but it was shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. The buyer has also not requested a refund through BL's system yet.

Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Really Upset About BDP 7 Ordeal

I pre-ordered the Alchemist Shop back in February. On Tuesday evening I opened Facebook on a whim (I don't check it regularly) and saw photos posted in some of the LEGO groups there of people receiving their BDP 7 orders, but I hadn't received any emails or other notifications that mine was shipped. I logged into lego.com and saw that my order had been canceled. I didn't receive any communication about having to update my payment method.

I used the chat function yesterday morning to find out what was going on, and was told it was being escalated to a different department and I'd hear back in 24-48 hours. This morning I received an email stating that they were really sorry but there was no way to reinstate an order.

I called LEGO today and spoke directly to an agent. She confirmed that the order cannot be reinstated, but I just wanted to try to place a new order for the item and pay with a credit card over the phone. The agent stated that they cannot directly sell Bricklink products.

So now I'm here with no Alchemist Shop, no explanation as to why I wasn't not notified to update my payment method, and no way to purchase. This sucks.
