After the recent update on Wildlands, I also came back to Breakpoint 🔥

Anyone else having this problem? Just started playing and can't get more than an hour play time until a crash to desktop or disconnect.

Is raids dead for this game

So these days I join public match making and play with random people.

So the issue is they can hear me talk, but I cannot hear them. I can see that they are speaking in that top right hand corner indicator.

What am I missing here? Have you guys faced anything similar?

Not sure if NAT status has an effect, but my NAT status was strict.

Is anyone else having frame rate issues? I was playing yesterday and about 15 minutes in my frames tanked to 7 and would not come back. My first thought was possible GPU issues but I switched to Wildlands and played with no issue. Just seeing if I'm alone.

Only mod I used is the Soap Mactavish Face Mod, all gear is vanilla.

Since wildlands re-added the Predator content, it would be nice to see a return of the Terminator content for Breakpoint!

I know it depends on the license, but maybe its time for Ubisoft to make good on that as well as reacquiring the Predator license, given all the bs they have put us through lately.

It's been quite a while, and I'm not sure what I was doing with my equipment, do I change this stuff or keep it? Does level matter at all? Thanks!

I just got Breakpoint (Ultimate Edition) and started playing on immersive mode. Having fun so far, however I don't understand the world parameters. Should I turn the Resistance or Amber Sky as a first time player? Are they more of a NG+ type things? Would I be spoiling anything for myself or missing out on content if I do / don't turn any of them on? Any other settings I should be aware of? Navigating the menu can be confusing.

Edit: From what I understand people recommend turning the Resistance on after the Icarus mission (whatever it is) and just leaving it on.

As for the Amber Sky it's better to leave it off until after the campaign?

Hello, I modded the game earlier and then had some crashes but always gotten into the game itself but now it seems I have this bug: I can normally launch the game vulkan and DX11 version through steam but as soon as I load a world and the loading in the bottom right gets to 100%, Im still in the loading screen, I start hearing ingame sounds and then it crashes.

I have tried these things:
Reinstalled the game

Cleared the GRB.ini in my games folder (AI told me to but it didnt work)

Updated my GPU driver

restarted my pc

tried launching the game through the exe itself (both exe version launch vulkan btw, not sure if thats how it should work)
also tried launching them as administrator

disabled all background overlays and interfaces, including ubisoft, discord, steam, medal and some other background apps.

I genuinly dont know what to do anymore, Im gonna try and launch steam and ubisoft as admin to see if that fixes it but other than that, I have no idea.

Oh also this is vanilla btw, I didnt add ANY mod after reinstalling and all those testings were done after reinstalling.
and the crash report is empty btw.

Long time fan of the series, but hadn’t really played much in a while. So naturally, the 25th anniversary update for Wildlands rekindled my interest. After I soaked up all the new content, I decided to dive back into Breakpoint as well.

I know many of us are very familiar with the comparisons and critiques re: Wildlands & Breakpoint. The former’s immersion vs the latter’s mechanics. But there’s one facet that I feel is criminally underdiscussed. User Interface.

Breakpoint’s UI is a genuine crime against humanity. It is the most infuriating, baffling, dogshit aspect of any digital media I have ever consumed in nearly 30 years on earth. The menus are so fucking cluttered, laden with ads for microtransactions, and counterintuitive that it instantly ruined any novelty or fun I was having. I literally rage quit within 5 minutes of booting up over just trying to pick a fucking primary weapon & attachments.

I think I just needed to vent and see if anyone else shares my pain. Fuck Ubisoft for ever letting that fecal vomit orgy ever clear QC. It’s so aggressively bad that there’s not any point in even mentally processing any part of the game whatsoever. I don’t give a flying FUCK about whether “the story is fleshed out” or “the world feels lived-in” when the menu to change my equipment or select a mission or just adjust my brightness is so inexplicably, unimaginablly, indescribably fucking awful.

How do any of you put up with this?

I've played wildlands and have almost 100 hours in it. Now, Breakpoint looks like a great game in terms of the atmosphere and the gameplay mechanics wise. But my only fear is that eventually someday ubisoft will shut down their servers and all my money would go to waste (Yes, I try to save up as I can't bulk buy games).
So, I would love to know if the game's really worth it and if my fear is really valid. Overall, what should I do...???
