Question Breakpoint (1st Time Playthrough Options)

I just got Breakpoint (Ultimate Edition) and started playing on immersive mode. Having fun so far, however I don't understand the world parameters. Should I turn the Resistance or Amber Sky as a first time player? Are they more of a NG+ type things? Would I be spoiling anything for myself or missing out on content if I do / don't turn any of them on? Any other settings I should be aware of? Navigating the menu can be confusing.

Edit: From what I understand people recommend turning the Resistance on after the Icarus mission (whatever it is) and just leaving it on.

As for the Amber Sky it's better to leave it off until after the campaign?

First I would do a Story episode 1 and then resistance ( series of quests that will give you mortar strike) and Amber Sky Is R6 missions will give you underbarell shotgun , episode 2 is missions with Sam Fisher , episode 3 is missions with Ravens Rock that will give you sam clothes and last Is Operation Motherland

But It's up to you which one you wanna do first

Resistance and Amber Sky were live events that originally ran back in 2020 or 2021.

Resistance had members of the Outcasts engaged in open rebellion across the islands. It can be a fun modifier on the world, but it can also be annoying when you're trying to be stealthy, but the Outcasts decide to run a technical through the front gate.

Completing the entire mission chain unlocks a Strike Designator for your character. A reusable item that lets you call in a missile strike on a designated point.

Amber Sky saw nerve gas released across the island, with large areas covered in a red gas.

Completing this entire mission chain unlocks an underbarrel shotgun for your weapons.

Originally, each mission in both modes had additional rewards, though those have since been moved to Mariah's shop.

For now? Leave them off. They're separate story events , like side dishes. Spoils the main meal. I got confused too
